We’ve had such a wonderful experience at Y.H. Park! My 4 year-old son absolutely loves coming to class — the instructors are so patient, encouraging, and great with kids! In just a short time, he’s learned focus, respect, and even how to count to 10 in Korean! It’s amazing to see his confidence grow each week. We have only just begun to attend classes but we couldn't be happier. Everyone is so very nice. The instructors are terrific...so patient and welcoming. I love how there are multiple instructors for each class and the way they rotate around. It's great to see how they switch up the activities every few minutes so the kids are engaged. I'm sure my daughter will go a long way here.

We can only be thankful for this place. A place with a long history, with the most qualified owners and instructors in Olympic Taekwondo. Their instructors started as kids in the academy. Besides high technical skills, courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control, focus, discipline and building confidence are just some of the values that students learn daily. My daughter has been going to YH Park Taekwondo for about a year or maybe more and it’s just an amazing Academy. The Masters, instructors, and the assistants are amazing! They are well trained and they are very knowledgeable about the art of taekwondo. They also pay attention to students individually and make them feel comfortable. I had my son's 5th birthday in the new Seaford location. The party was so fun!! They played a bunch of games that the kids loved and showed them a little taekwondo. It was really such a good party. My son still talks about splitting the piece of wood and cutting his cake with a real sword! Every parent commented as they left what a great time their child had. What can I say about YH Park? We joined shortly before the pandemic began and they were our lifeline to the world over lockdown. My daughter diligently attended her classes on Zoom until it was safe to return to in-person training, and she has just flourished since then. Every single instructor has a passion for tae kwon do and for teaching, and it shows every single day. We are so grateful to Master Park and Grandmaster Park for the culture they cultivate. Our daughter has fallen in love with tae kwon do and we are thankful for their diligence, patience and genuine care for all of their students. There is no place like YH Park.

A second generation Taekwondo Master, Master Edward and Elliott Park are a gem. YH Park Taekwondo is a school filled with rich history and passion. True Taekwondo leadership passed down form Grandmaster YH Park to Master Edward Park, it a community staple in Levittown, NY. It is a great place to have your children learn and master Taekwondo but also learn life values and lessons thru their incredible masters and instructors. Master Edward and the entire staff went above & beyond for my daughter's birthday! They were SO NICE, polite, helpful and really had fun with the kids! We were a big group and they managed to take care of both the kids and the parents. I have never seen all these kids have this much fun -EVER! They LITERALLY didn't want to leave! The parents were so impressed and many of them said they couldn't wait to come back and have their children take classes and have parties there. I studied with Grandmaster Park back in 1982 - the classes were always composed of hard work, discipline, concentration and putting forward your best efforts to continually do better. This helped me in my teen years with self-esteem issues and helped develop my leadership skills in the years to come. Fast forward years later, and nothing has changed. Eddie and Elliott Park continue to carry on the tradition of classic TaeKwonDo training, shaping and developing our future leaders. We live in a time when there are many martial arts schools to choose from; however, they are not all created equal. I have trained at Y.H. Park since 1990 and the experience is unique, enriching, and unlike the experience you can get at any other Dojang. 2013 marked the 40th Anniversary of the Academy's existence. There is a rich history that is tied into the globalization of Taekwondo as an Olympic Sport and the preservation of the traditions of the art.

After all these years of training, the curriculum has continued to evolve and the atmosphere has become one of a new generation of families training together-fathers and sons, mother and daughters, brothers and sisters. I train with my son, my brother, my niece and nephew-that is the type of atmosphere that is fostered.

The school teaches self defense, weapons, forms, sparring and so much more. Most importantly, it teaches about becoming the best person, citizen, and family member you can be. There is something for everyone-children will thrive but adults will be challenged to reach new heights as well.

My family joined the YH Park Academy two years ago after my then 7yr old son attended a birthday party there. Aside from the obvious knowledge and talents of the staff, there was an instant bond between my son and Grandmaster Park that we noticed immediately. The impact that the school has had on his life cannot be understated. I could ramble on about the benefits of self-defense, self-esteem, but any school worth their salt could claim that. What has made the biggest difference for us has been the family atmosphere and support that both my son, and then my wife who joined soon after, have been a part of.
