I was in nyc for a work trip and this yoga studio was short walk from where I was staying. I managed to squeeze in 3 classes during my week and they were all wonderful. Very welcoming community and great teachers! Thanks Sunee, Lisa and Shamina for sharing your practice with me.

YogaSole is an amazing studio! The vibes are great, and it’s low key and low stress. I’ve tried yoga before and never liked it and YogaSole is so welcoming and accommodating to all types of fitness styles.

I recently moved away from NYC after 5 years and YogaSole is in my top 3 things I’ll miss. This is such a welcoming studio that offers such a variety of different classes that met my schedule, fitness needs, and interests. The community is so friendly and safe, and the instructors always have your safety in mind. Highly recommend this studio, particularly Lisa’s classes!

I’ve been going to yogasole for a little under a year and have been a member for about 6 months, It’s a really special place. The owner and teachers remember my name, other students are friendly and respectful, and the space is cozy and sunny and calming. There’s a great variety of classes, and all the teachers are super conscious of everyone having different needs - we’re always encouraged to listen to our bodies and to take breaks if needed. There’s often modifications to increase or decrease intensity. Going to mat Pilates 3-4 times a week has totally changed my life for the better. I’m so glad I found yogasole!

I’ve been going to YogaSole for a little over 3 years now. It’s such a special gem in the neighborhood and I always feel relaxed and rejuvenated after every class. I attended the prenatal classes with Shamina throughout my pregnancy, and it helped me build a community of other expecting moms nearby.

I have been a member of YogaSole since it opened 17 years ago in Windsor Terrace. The classes, teachers, welcome ambiance and beautiful studio are superb. The new Sunset Park Studio continues with the same superlative quality. Attending varied classes & events at both places, I leave renewed, refreshed and invigorated. Highly recommended!

I have been coming to the studio for 10+ years. It was like a home to me. This is where I learned yoga, gotten through painful breakups, stress at work, pregnancy, pandemic, early years of single motherhood, Trump and so on. YogaSole always stood out as the most welcoming, kind and compassionate place. Taking a class in my case requires getting child care for my 6-year old and an Uber ride to drop her off. This morning, I arrived to class exactly 4 min late. My Uber app froze and required several minutes to reboot, which with some extra traffic around Grand Army Plaza resulted in my lateness. The new owner, who was at the reception, went on a powertrip with what I now understand is her new attendance policy and DID NOT let me in. This is not the YogaSole that I know and sadly I will not be coming again.

I’m new to Brooklyn, I’ve absolutely loved the classes I’ve taken at YogaSole so far! Each session feels thoughtfully designed, blending asana, breathwork, and mindfulness into a rich, fulfilling experience—all within an hour. The instructors are excellent, attentive, and truly care about their students. Every class has been a beautiful and unique experience. Highly recommend!

Lovely studio where all are welcome. The space is charming, cozy, clean, and homey. Teachers are knowledgeable and offer creative flows. Classes tend to be more relaxed than strenuous. High quality mat rentals for $2. Love that they have tea! Great studio all around!

I signed up for their three class new student promotion. I attended two Sunday 75-minute classes and a Tension Release class on Friday afternoon. Each class was unique and all the teachers were friendly and knowledgeable. If you get a chance try out a class, they also have outdoor offerings in the park!

This was my first time at this yoga studio. Such a warm and friendly vibe - really had a nice experience. Took a class with Talia Stieger there - She’s an incredible instructor - You can feel her passion for yoga in the class and yet she is so personable and caring at the same time. Hope to be back soon!

Every single thing about this studio deserves 5 stars! It’s clean, friendly, comfortable, inclusive. The classes are fun and physically very intuitive. The environment is not intimidating, and the studio location is perfect, on a peaceful corner in Windsor Terrace with lots of light and trees outside and tons of fun plants inside. There’s always a fresh pitcher of iced tea (or pot of hot tea) to sip on while you get comfortable and ready for class.
I didn’t think it before I started coming here, but it’s all these small details combined that really deepen my practice and make classes here the highlight of my week!

I had a lovely experience at an outdoor class in Prospect Park with this studio. They were professional, caring, good cueing, helpful modifications, etc. And it was a very relaxing class. I will definitely try out a class in their studio.

This place is a small gem in a quiet hamlet. I moved here two years ago and was never a strong yoga student UNTIL I found YogaSole. The atmosphere, variety, expertise and spirit have been woven into my everyday life. After losing 10 lbs in a year without even trying ... my body and mind thank me every day and I love just saying - You're Welcome!!

Love this place! Warm, welcoming community studio with a super friendly vibe. Setting is airy, sunlit, and calming. Great variety of classes and excellent yoga instructors. My favorite classes are the therapeutic and pain relief classes which have helped my back, shoulder and hip pain like nothing else I’ve ever tried. No need to wear fancy yoga clothes – the spirit of yoga and community is what people care about here. I started with a one-month pass 5 years ago and never left!
