I highly recommend 4D Endurance, especially for runners.
After dealing with an on and off shin splint injury for 4.5 years, I saw Mike for a free evaluation. Mike was able to pinpoint the issue, one I had never heard before after seeing two physical therapists. After my first session, I ran 3 miles easily pain free.
Mike’s incredibly knowledgeable and fun to work with. He is helping me train for my 10K. I finished my last long run before the race and achieved my fastest 10K time with zero pain. I feel more prepared for race day than ever before. I can’t thank him enough for getting me back to running!

So glad I tried 4D!! I went initially for foot pain thought due to arthritis while training for a half marathon. Mike quickly discovered that it really was not the arthritis causing the pain, but asymmetric muscle weakness in hips, glutes and core. After far just a few visits so far (which involved isolating and strengthening the weak areas), I have rare to no foot pain. I am also running stronger and more efficiently as he also helped me fine tune my running form. I still have a ways to go to get balanced and strong equally throughout( from years of unrecognized asymmetry), but I’m definitely heading in the right direction. Mike is an absolute wealth of knowledge in his field, and has the ability to dissect out the true root of the problem. He is also a pleasure to work with, very encouraging and is truly invested in your best outcome. I highly recommend 4D without any hesitation whatsoever.

In the last two years I have lost 65lbs. After losing the weight, I wanted to tone and start building muscle. I researched a few different places that allowed me to have a complimentary session to see if it would be a good fit. I did not want a huge place or a large group to workout with. It was almost like the story of the “Goldilocks and the Three Bears” for me. It literally had to be the perfect fit for me or I knew I wasn’t going to be 100% dedicated. Connecting with the people is huge to me and that’s what I wanted to see, and I did. I met Mike and had nothing but a positive experience with him. I loved the many different aspects that 4D has to offer. I knew the day I met Mike, was the day I was going to rebuild myself. I had conquered the weight loss and I was ready for my next challenge.
I’ve been with 4D for over a year now and have had the pleasure of working with all the trainers at 4D, but more specifically, Sergio for one-on-one personal training. If you would have told me a year ago this is going to be life changing in so many ways, I never would have believed you. I initially told myself, do it for a few months and here I am over a year. Personal training for me is not just physical, it is mental health, setting and reaching goals for myself is an amazing feeling. I would say our goals for myself 100% align. It’s not just working out, it’s fun, the laughs, the high fives, the connections, clients cheering you on…it feels like family!
Sergio is highly knowledgeable and is a great motivator. Personal training with Sergio has positively impacted my life in so many ways. My physique has greatly changed, my eating habits improved and my mindset has greatly changed since starting my journey here. To say I’m proud of myself is an understatement. Sergio helped change my mindset and I look forward and am eager to conquer each session, can’t imagine missing a day without being “beastie.” I am dedicated 100% to my health and wellness and attribute every bit of that to 4D. I highly recommend 4D, you won’t regret it!

Everyone is very welcoming and friendly. My 13 year old son has been working with Jonathan for a few months and has gained confidence, strength, flexibility, and the correct form to help get ready for ice hockey season! He will continue to go here to expand his athletic endurance.

I have been training with Sergio for 3-1/2 years. My experience has been not only productive but fun - who would have thought? 4D stresses correct form, which has been the reason I have progressed from a person with persistent back pain to someone about to practice back flips. I would definitely recommend this gym. My trainer, Johnathan, is great. He really has a good knowledge base and listens to my feedback to curtail the training sessions to what I need. I know very little about working out, but he can translate where I feel sore and tired into what workouts we need to do. My only complaint is that scheduling within my work hours is challenging. But I acknowledge that I work odd hours, so I take partial blame. Overall - 9.5 out of 10.

I first went to see Mike in 2014 and I was training for my 2nd Ironman. And needed some help , Mike suggested I try traing using Hr zones which made my 2nd event much easier and more enjoyable. I’m currently training to do an ultra trail run with my son and starting experiencing sciatic nerve pain

This is an outstanding place to regenerate your body and work on injuries which have been keeping you from doing the things you like. Mike and his staff provide unquestionably the best expertise in identifying you problem and identifying appropriate solutions. The staff and their techniques at 4D are top notch. They focus on your fitness and well-being. The use of many techniques is effective to work out all your muscle/joint pain or build/maintain muscle tone. I have been to many gyms/fitness clubs and this is best for personal training/small group fitness in LKN. Mike, Sergio, Lindsay, Alec, and Gina are all top notch and skilled with different specialization (corrective, muscle/joint exercise, mobility, general nutrition, conditioning, building muscle, etc.)

Mike has been training me for years. First as a coach for triathlons and endurance sports. Now for strength after he helped me rehab a chronic back problem. Mike was unique in that he didn’t just follow back injury protocol. He looked for my patterns, weaknesses, and overcompensations and developed a plan for me. That really differentiated Mike from many other trainers. My back pain and function improved in no time. I highly recommend Mike as a coach and trainer if you want to be treated for your individual needs with a customized plan.

I've been a runner my entire life. After my first session with Mike, he told me "your form is not right". Huh? He changed the way I ran which allowed me to put in 60% effort when my prior technique was 100%. My times increased, distance became less of an issue, and the overall enjoyment increased significantly.
I ran my first half marathon and participated in my first triathlon (placing 3rd in my age group) after seeing Mike. Two boxes I never thought I would check.

I came to Mike after a series of injuries continued to sideline me and interrupt my training. After working on my injured areas with stretches and weight training, Mike then went to work revamping my running technique. He immediately saw a major flaw and went about fixing my form. I am now running relatively pain free for the first time in a long time. I say relatively because at 50 years old, unfortunately some pain is to be expected. Thanks Mike for everything, not sure where I’d be without you. You’ve restored my love and enjoyment in running again.
