I highly recommend Sheri to anyone who is looking for a professional pilates instructor. I've been working with her for more than 2 years. She listens and observes personal needs, then customizes the each session. Anyone like me sitting and working on computers all the time would need her lesson to correct the posture and strengthen the muscles. I feel lucky to find her!

I highly recommend Ab-solute Pilates with Sheri! I have been going twice a week for almost two years and my severe back issues including sciatica are incredibly diminished. Her knowledge on these issues and the personal attention to form have made this possible.

Sheri has helped me since I had a back surgery scheduled 5 years ago. Due to scheduling conflicts, back surgery kept being delayed, and pilates with Sheri helped me to a point that I no longer require it. She wants the best for you, makes it tough, but always ensures to do the right thing.

I have been practicing Pilates with Sheri for a few years now. She is a wonderful instructor, guiding through every exercise with encouragement. My strength, flexibility and posture have all improved.

Going to Ab-solute Pilates has changed my life! Having a spinal fusion in my lower back in 2014 has meant I have had to work hard to regain my strength and flexibility. Moving to the USA in 2019 meant I had to start all over again with my care providers which is pretty daunting. Finding Sheri and Ab-solute Pilates has been a huge turning point for me. Sheri is a fabulous instructor who works hard to customise all her workouts to suit the individual needs of her clients. Working with Sheri has resulted in me regaining more strength than I have had for years and I now enjoy more activities with my boys, work harder in my beautiful garden and generally enjoy a pain free existance knowing my back is not going to go any moment. When I do have the occassional issue with my back, going to Sheri for a Pilates session is the best remedy I know.

On a dreary Saturday, I picked the phone, and did the best thing I've done for my body- EVER.
Sheri's bright and cheery voice was on the other end, offering me a chance to improve my stagnant physical condition.
Two years prior, I had been in a severe motor vehicle accident, where I had to relearn to sit, walk, and move my limbs.
After years of focusing on regaining functional movement, I was left with a feeling I needed more. That's where Sheri came in.
She has helped me focus on finding the best body for me- injuries and all. Pilates has helped me engage parts of my body that help in the reduction of chronic pain, gain flexibility, and regain a confident posture. Also, an added bonus- my clothes fit so much better.
Her studio checks all the boxes. Private, caring, and flexible in her methods to consider one's physical condition- not just pushing for the sake of pushing. She is geniunely passionate about building your body for long term use- making life better for me in so many ways. In my youth, I had been introduced to pilates through the ballet school I had been attending, but it had not really clicked the way it has now!
I've found my overall chronic pain has reduced- though I still have my rough days from time to time, my visits to physical therapists and doctors offices have also reduced, and it has given me a low impact physical outlet that I so desperately needed.
Overall, a wonderful experience for me and I expect to continue for a long time.

Devra is the ab-solutely best Pilates teacher in Orange County! And believe me, I have tried many. Her knowledge of Pilate is unsurpassed, and her ability to teach is a gift. Her classes are always fun, as well as incredibly challenging. I recently moved away from OC and honestly one of the things I miss the most is class with this talented teacher.

When you take exercise classes, pilates or other types, the pace and rigor are already established and you must fit in or not. Instead, Sheri listens to and watches you in order to carefully assess where you are physically and then takes you forward from there. She is extremely patient and tailors each individual class to your on-going needs. My experience has definitely been five star!

Iβve been working with Sheri a couple of times a week for the past two years. She has helped me through a right knee meniscus tear, just by working on alignment. Fortunately, no surgery was required due to Pilates.
We have also been working on my core strength, which is helping with my flexibility. My new found flexibility helps me with my golf game, which has been one of our long term goals. It helps me reach most par fives in two shots, not too bad for a 68 year old.

I cannot say enough good things about Absolute Pilates! I have been going here for just about a year and I am still being challenged. Sheri and Doug really know the ins and outs of what Pilates is meant to be and achieve. With the small class size or one on private lessons, I never worry whether I am completing a move the proper way, they are always watchful and give corrections where needed. I have never felt so strong everywhere in my body, not just the core. I am totally hooked and grateful to have found a great studio and caring instructors.

My only regret about taking sessions with Sheri is that I didn't do it sooner! This studio provides for the whole person so I can get the most out of my workouts without the worry of injury. Reformer classes for the masses was a waste of my time. That is why this studio is the right choice for me. Injury free from the experts!

I have been going here for 7 months and after only a few weeks I had significant improvement with all of my baby-delivery-related core problems that had been lingering for years. This is a great studio. Sheri is a very knowledgable, enthusiastic instructor who will work you in all pilates fundamentals while paying attention to your body and your goals...every client is unique and she recognizes that. If she goes to a conference she comes back with specific ideas for you because she cares about how you are progressing. Every time you work out with Sheri you are guaranteed an instructor who is giving you 110%.

As a recreational athlete, thank you Sherri for helping me to return to running and tennis after a calf injury, and to return in better shape than when I was injured. I started with Sherri to strengthen my lower extremity, and discovered how effective a Pilates 1:1 session plan was for the whole body. Focusing on my core and putting the time towards training all the muscles in the body, even the muscles I tend to ignore, has had such a huge impact on my posture, performance, and remaining injury free. I feel stronger, taller, and my flexibility is increasing dramatically. Sherri is fantastic to work with. She is always safely pushing you to your own limit and encouraging you the whole way. I highly recommend Sherri and Pilates.
