About the Club

I’m a strength & conditioning coach that trains athletes and adults that want to train like an athlete.
My Purpose for not going to college is because I’ve seen high school athletes that are not able to technically execute lifts, lacks mobility, and running form needs major work to be efficient.
Adrenaline Rush Sports & Fitness provides in person and online training services based in the Huntersville (north metro Charlotte) area

There's only a handful of coaches who offer personal training that has the same top 5% certifications (CSCS & USATF), experience (established 2001) and train pros and collegiate athletes.

Not only is Richard a great trainer but he's funny and honest. If you have body goals, he'll customize your training sessions to help you reach your desired outcome. I'm 2 months in and I am already reaching major milestones in strength, endurance, weight loss and muscle tone.

Richard's 30-day body fat challenge has me down five pounds in 2 weeks!

Because of COVID-19, I am unable to meet with him in person, so I've enrolled his a few of his "e-gym" classes (online personal training & core) and work out with other people just like me that need the guidance and support from the expert.

Richard is kind, seasoned in his field (former strength & conditioning coach for a few college teams/sports & has over 20 yrs experience), and gets you the results you want if you try. He is also incredibly responsive, resourceful and makes the gym/working out non-intimidating for me. I'm so glad to have found him on Instagram!

When I met Richard over five years ago at Waterford I watched him interact with his clients and liked what I saw. I have always worked out with my own routine but I have always preferred working out with others.

I signed up for Richard’s core training class for a month and I learned much about exercising my abdominals without injuring my neck and back, and also much more about proper form that I had never realized before. I now take classes from him and absolutely love it.

Richard has on occasion helped me work through my injuries as well. I feel so much more fit since I’ve known him. Although I am a mere 62, I hope to work with him right in to my 80s.

I relocated to Charlotte from Cincinnati and found Richard online. I have been incredibly pleased with Richard’s training style and have felt stronger and more fit by engaging in Richard’s programs. I'm an older adult who has played lots of sports and had many injuries and surgeries. One of my concerns was finding a trainer who could work with me to make me stronger, while working around my aches and pains. Richard has been awesome to work with. We always touch base before my workout to see how my body feels, and he makes adjustments as necessary. I'm stronger than I've ever been in my life, and feeling great! Richard is wonderful! After many injuries and fitness hurdles, I decided to utilize a trainer to help ensure that I was using the correct muscles in the right way. Group classes fit my personal budget the best and I couldn't be more happy with my decision to start working with Adrenaline Rush Sports. The group classes are usually on the smaller side and Richard takes the time to correct each person, often manually adjusting your position to help you get the most out of the exercise. Richard truly cares about his clients and helping them correct weaknesses and recover from injuries, while building overall strength. I've only done the core foundation classes so far, but as I get into better shape I plan to try his more high intensity classes.
