About the Club

We are an outdoor adult fitness community dedicated to positively transforming lives through great workouts and amazing community. The workouts are always very friendly and welcoming. Each session is programmed to help you reach your fitness goals. Your body and mind will be challenged in all the best ways. We train to the top athlete while providing success options so no matter what you can get a great workout in at your personal level. Try us out for one week free and see what we are all about! You will not find a more knowledgeable, energetic, generous, friendly and encouraging trainer than Preston.

Preston puts together smart, challenging workouts for people at all levels of fitness. When he presents a movement to the group he always includes at least 2-alternative movements as success options. Preston creates space for each individual to conquer their own fitness goals. No matter your current level of fitness, Fit Tribe will help you achieve your goals.

Preston’s knowledge of kinesiology is vast and he shares his knowledge in in every class. I have learned more about heathy fitness from Preston than any other trainer in the past.

Each day of the week has a different focus, from cardio and endurance to functional agility to high intensity interval training to strength training to mobility. This allows me to fine tune my fitness goals from week to week.

There are multiple classes each day which make is easy for me to find classes that fit my ever-changing schedule.

Having classes outdoors and utilizing multiple areas around Carrier park keeps the classes fresh and energy high.

Fit Tribe is home to the friendliest, most encouraging fitness community I have been a part of in Asheville.

Pros:
✅ Creative workouts that keep things exciting (who knew you could do a full-body workout with just a resistance band and sheer willpower?)
✅ Encouraging energy that makes you believe you might actually survive the session
✅ Scenic outdoor settings, so at least the trees witness your suffering
✅ A playlist so fire it almost distracts from the fact that you’re gasping for air

Cons:
❌ My muscles have filed a formal complaint
❌ The ground is way harder when you’re doing push-ups on it
❌ You’ll accidentally become part of a fitness cult (but like, a fun one)

Would I recommend? 1000% yes. Just make sure to stretch… or prepare to waddle for three days.

If you are looking for a great workout program and an amazing community to work out with, then Asheville Fit Tribe is for you! Trainer Preston is amazing! He brings his best to every workout. Each and every workout is creative, fresh and fun, with a different focus, whether it be endurance, weights, mobility, metabolic conditioning, strength training, to name a few. He wants you to succeed, offers modifications to all exercises, and you are among other people that are encouraging you all the way. I have been part of the early morning 7am group since I retired in February 2021. It's a perfect way to start my day!

joining fit tribe last year is one of the best decisions i've ever made! it took me a while to work up the nerve to show up, but once i did, i never looked back. from day 1, everyone has been so welcoming, supportive, and friendly, and the workouts are challening but so much fun.

I can't say enough good things about Asheville Fit Tribe!! I've been a part of lots of gyms and different workout groups and this is truly unique. It can be intimidating to go to a new workout class and the community Preston has created is so welcoming and encouraging--I immediately felt a sense of belonging and connection. Preston makes every workout so fun, engaging, and different that you never get bored. He challenges you to push yourself AND also listen to your body and makes workouts accessible to any skill or athletic level. He's paying attention and watching your form so you don't get hurt. He also sends inspiring texts and adds in different challenges to help with accountability and motivate you to keep showing up (even in the cold!). Highly, highly recommend!!

I really can't say enough about how I love my workouts with Asheville Fit Tribe! When I started a year ago I had wrist pain, hated running, and had no idea how to do a deadlift. Since then my pain has resolved, I feel more balanced and fit, my cardio has increased significantly, and I am lifting weights safely and with good form.

Every workout is different which keeps me engaged and motivated. I have fun and meet great people, and I absolutely love the outside meetups! Preston really excels at what he does and his deep passion and care for other people is abundant.

I joined Asheville Fit Tribe after about 2 years of not working out consistently. I immediately felt welcomed by Preston and by everyone that was coming to the classes. I have been attending regularly 2-3 times per week and I love the workouts. Each day being focused on a different fitness aspect (endurance, agility, strength, and HIIT) has allowed me to see progress in so many areas that I have not from doing other classes or self guided workouts. I love that it’s efficient, you can tell immediately that it works, and it only takes a very small % of your day. I LOVE the fact that Preston tells you everything to do vs going to a gym and trying to figure out how to get the most out of a workout. My husband and I joined the Asheville Fit Tribe on my 40th birthday and it was such a perfect time to start this fitness journey! We get so much more out of working out with a trainer in a group setting. It's not intimidating (if you are worried about that like I was). There are all different ages and abilities in every class. Highly recommended!
