Very nice golf course. Tee boxes mostly in great shape. Rough is deep and challenging. Stay in the fairway no problems. Greens in great shape when cut. 60/40 on that. Worth the money and have a good membership that I'm seriously considering.

Great course overall, greens are well kept, staff is friendly, and the layout offers a fun mix of challenges for all skill levels. Loved the scenic views and the peaceful atmosphere… until hole ten, where I was suddenly transported into Jurassic Park: Canine Edition.

Not sure who thought it was a good idea to place a tee box next to the gates of Cujo’s summer home, but here we are. Very large, very loud dogs came charging at the fence like they had a personal vendetta against golf carts. I nearly sliced my shot straight into a panic attack.

Course is lovely, but unless you want a surprise cardio session and some trauma with your back nine, maybe bring treats or skip hole ten entirely.

Our group traveled 1 hr to play once a month, with the price increase not worth our travel time, most of our folks are seniors and for that price we play nicer courses in our area utilizing Trail Card or MB Golf Pass.

Tee boxes are not great, uneven, not much grass. Driving range it garbage, lumpy, minimal grass. Golf carts are dirty, and the parking brake won't engage half the time. No water coolers on the course even though there are spots for it. With all the rough things, I will say that the greens are looking pretty good though. The club house water fountain don't have a good stream so I can't fill my water bottle. The on course water fountains filter statuses are all red and taist funny.

Nice course and the staff could not have been nicer to my 7yrold grandson. Slow play at first but shout out to ranger Chris. He fixed the pace of play voluntarily and brought back Tuckers 7 iron! We will play there every time I am fortunate enough to travel back down !! Also the golf shirts fit great FYI buy one!! Thanks for having us we will see yall soon.

Course was nice, challenging and well groomed. Staff however was not overly friendly and there were no hot dogs available at only 4:23 in the afternoon. Owner said they were trying to use them up. I’m sorry but for a course that charges what this one does( it was $50 for two non golfers riding in a cart) you should definitely have hot dogs available for golfers making the turn. I don’t think a couple of unused hot dogs are going to break the bank for the place. This put a negative spin on the whole second part of the round for me. In addition there was also no ice available for the drinks that were purchased at the beginning of the round so they were quite warm already after the first hour of play. Little things like this can make a big difference in the overall experience particularly for first time patrons of the course!

Best course around. I recently bought a house in Surf City and this course and the staff is the best. I’ve played a few other places and this is my favorite. Today I left my club behind and Cindy in the pro shop and the other staff were able to locate it and get it back to me within a few hours. Members coming my way actually brought it back to my area for me. What a great golf community. Thank you!!!

Pretty good golf course for the area, for the price. Some are a bit more but not as nice. It’s properly ran and taken care of. I’ve played this course throughout the year over the years and it’s always been well maintained as far as the greens and tee boxes being cut and such. Doesn’t drain well. If there’s been a decent amount of rain, wait 3-5 days for the fairways to dry up.

Very nice golf course. Have played it several times and each time it tests my golf game. It does get windy out there which makes it harder. Greens are very fast so make sure you get to the practice green before your round. Cindy in the pro shop is very polite and professional. They also have a limited membership which is essentially a monthly membership instead of the annual membership.

Excellent experience.
I played as a single, and was paired up with some members by the kind woman in the pro shop. She thought they’d be good for me to play with. She was right. They were 3 welcoming guys.

The course itself was in great condition. Best I’ve ever seen for the rate. Good greens. Very fast. It took some getting used to.

Overall, I’d recommend it if you’re in the area.

Phenomenal course. Drove 9 hours and was almost late for my tee time and was greeted with TRUE southern hospitality and welcomed by all staff. The course was in fantastic shape and had challenging holes. Fairly open fairways made me feel confident as an average golfer greens were difficult yet accessible to the average golfer with some challenging slopes. If anyone is traveling through the area i definitely suggest the course and you cant beat the price for the quality.

Came out to play for the first time and very impressed with the course conditions considering how much rain theres been the last 3 weeks. Everything was very soft, cart path only but greens were relatively true and the layout is very ideal for beginners and very fun for more experienced players. Look forward to coming back when it's dry!

I think a $240 increase in membership fees is extremely to steep. Loyal members should not be hit with such a steep increase with absolutely no warning or advance notice(s few days prior to sending out July’s bill is not a notice). I could truly understand if there was a difference in the membership package that caused the increase (I..e.. free range balls, free personal cart use or something). This is truly a great disservice to the members that have stayed loyal to a course even during the current worldly events (COVID 19). Such an unfair increase with little to no warning is bad business practice and terrible appreciation for the customers.

All I can say is wow! Played today and absolutely loved this course. The green fees are more than fair at $33.00. Loved the layout of the course. The fairways are plush and the greens are the best I've seen around here in a long time. Its about a 35 minute drive from my house but totally worth the trip.

What I like most though about the course is it doesn't play very long. There are some short par 4s and par 5s. Definitely reachable in 2 Stokes.

I will definitely be back to play this one again soon. Can't wait to come back.
