Brian is extraordinary. His knowledge of anatomy, physiology and fitness is unparalleled. I started with him about six months ago after one knee replacement. I have more lower body strength and flexibility than I’ve had in 30 years. And I don’t think I’ll need surgery on the other arthritic knee! Brian is quite patient but pushes me just the right amount. He mixes up our routines quite a bit to keep it interesting and comprehensive from head to toe.

Brian helped me with my back and both knees and still have avoided surgery. I use things he has taught me every day, not to hurt myself. With dealing with psoriatic arthritus and fibromyalgia and lyme disease that is not easy. I still use recipes from the meal plan that he and Tara helped me with!

I can't say enough positive things about Brian and Better Together Fitness. The workouts are always challenging but never outside my comfort level. He's worked with me on meal plans and provided really great recipes. I've used trainers at gyms in the past but always felt like I was getting the hard sell for either memberships or products. With Better Together Fitness, I feel like the focus is 100% about me and my goals. Best of all, I saw great results!

I started with Brian for two reasons: 1) I had a mysterious back ailment that has alluded diagnosis and treatment and stopped my regular exercise routine dead in its tracks. I was in great pain and I couldn’t even bend over without pain. 2) A multitude of personal references I received from dear friends who unbeknownst to me were loyal clients of his.
After two months working with Brian I improved to the point I was able to resume some moderate exercise routines. I may never be able to perform to the level I was prior to the onset of this recent mysterious disability. However, with Brian’s help, and a desire to lead as active a life as possible, I will be able to be an active person again and not as physically challenged as I might have been otherwise.

I started with Brian two years ago and I couldn't be happier. I have learned a lot of stretches and exercises that have really improved the way I look, fit into my clothes, and my quality of life. I can lift weights and use the TRX straps and I don't hurt myself because of his careful training. And now I have definition in my muscles which is something I've never had before. I highly recommend Better Together Fitness

Better Together Fitness trainer Brian Tully is the best personal trainer I have had the pleasure of working with for the past 7 months. Having had bilateral knee replacements 3 years ago, I felt that I needed more rehab on a personal level than what was offered after my surgery. I realized my limitations and wanted more confidence and stability in my daily activities.
During my first session Brian assessed my situation, recorded measurements and developed a workout program best suited for me. The progress I made during the first 6 weeks was very noticeable and rewarding. Brian made my workouts sustainable and fun. He pushed (guided) me to levels I didn't think I could achieve. My flexibility, strength and balance all improved but most importantly, I lost a few pounds and toned up. Workouts always challenged me to the next level and adjustments/suggestions were offered to improve my posture or the exercise I was performing.

I've worked with Brian for about a year now. I think most peoples goals are to lose weight, however mine was to gain weight (muscle.) I started out with my weight usually ranging between 160-165 pounds. In the first month I put on 7 pounds and it was all muscle. The gains continued from their until I reached my goal of 190lbs. I currently stay between 190-195 and most of the gains have been muscle, despite me doing a fairly terrible job of eating what Brian told me to...(sorry Brian!) Anyway, I highly recommend and would be happy to talk directly to any potential clients!
