I had to stop training here. I'd rather make a trip over an hour long to train for boxing than continue here. Guy kept changing his hours and the price and locking people out. He also teaches bad punching technique. It's a shame. I really wanted this gym to be successful.

I called the owner to see what the gym was all about, he was off the bat aggressive and irritated. The owner advertise the gym on my college website/ to the public as self defense, I asked him a little bit about it, how beginners classes are. He went on to say the gym was members only and for competition and he’d need to have a conversation with me to see if I can join. I was super confused and when I said I’d think about it, he just hung up, yikes.

The trainer is very highly rated. Not my experience. My teen felt discouraged and disrespected by the trainer's constant negativity and contradicting orders rather than positive reinforcement. This damaged their initial enthusiasm for the program. While the facilities seem top-notch, this experience highlights the importance of trainers who are patient and encouraging, especially when working with young people. Parents be warned of your teens that are just getting stared it, he might kill their dream.

Great gym and very knowledgeable coach, however wouldn’t recommend for anyone just starting, the coach is very immature impatient unprofessional as well as discouraging . After a one hour consultation where the main topic of the discussion was his conspiracy theories. a start date was set. Upon the start date he completely forgot everything discussed on the initial consultation, worked with us for a few moments. In these moments he contradicted himself multiple times, tells you one thing and then proceeds to tell you another thing, its obvious that he is losing it. He got frustrated and decided to end our sessions by saying i was “untrainable”. This trainer is only interested and willing to work with those who are gonna take his rude comments and unnecessary attitude he will test and try to intimidate you. Shame to see a place with so much potential be tainted by this terrible experience that according to these reviews is just a trend in this man’s behavior.

Guy is like the father I never had, abusive, harrasses you if you don't punch the bag hard enough and pushes you to your limits. If you have a child moderate autism wouldn't recommend, good coaches but a I'm a little intimidated by guy.

If you are around the age of thirty or if you have a child with moderate autism, you cannot train here. Coach Guy made that clear.. Coach Guy told us a few weeks prior how great we would be at boxing under his guidance. We were attempting to raise money for the gym and offered to help with construction projects as we have knowledge in this area. Awesome gym, I think not. No stars...
