We’ve been at this gym for 4 years now. They have helped my daughter improve physically in skill and provided adequate support for her to reach her goals. My daughter started at Carolina Elite in the tumbling classes. After a year she asked to try the prep team and this changed her life. My quiet, shy introverted daughter found confidence and began to shine like never before. We love Carolina Elite! We used to attend the gym for toddler time and that’s how we discovered the tumbling classes. My daughter loves her teacher! All the staff are helpful, pleasant and responsive. Our membership comes with monthly freebies which is nice. Tumbling is a great activity for my daughter because she has lots of energy. I can’t wait for her to age into cheer!

A big let down for us. Wasted over $1000 since October 29th (It’s Jan 31 today.)
The instructors are great, the staff you see around the facility seems genuine. The management here does not give the “small, family owned gym” attitude. They feel concerned only with money.

If you have joined this gym or are considering joining this gym, I want you to know just how extremely blessed you are. We were at CEA for only 1 year (due to us moving) and I can’t tell you how much my child grew her skills and love for the sport during this time. Coach Dani pushed her to her full abilities, and although some nights she would leave practice crying because some stunts were hard, she (at 9 years old) said she knew she was being pushed because she can do it. She ended up hitting the skills and growing so much. We ended up moving 4.5 hours away and joined a different cheer gym. My daughter has had the worst time being yelled at and called names instead of just being pushed. There’s a difference in coaching/pushing someone to try harder and saying mean things to them to tear them down. We miss CEA so very much. We knew no one at that gym when we joined, yet we were welcomed in and loved on and cared about. CEA, for us, is the perfect example of what a cheer gym should be. So yes, if I could drive the 4.5 hours a couple times a week for my daughter to go there I would. That’s why I say, if you are there, consider yourself blessed to being coached by some of the greatest coaches who will push your kids, but love on your kids even more. We still love you CEA and we’re cheering you on this season all the way from Hickory, NC!

If you are looking for a place to feel at home , for cheer or tumbling!!! This is your place!!! As soon as you walk in the door you are welcomed in with open arms by the Director Coach Danielle Smith and everyone that works there. They are so determined to help and Coach and grow your child or children to reach for the stars!!! I have three children and two the cheer at this gym and one of mine is a special needs child and has never been looked at or treated differently and has always been made to feel like he is just like everyone else during tumbling and on his cheer team. My older daughter has grown and reached goals with all the support of Coach Danielle and all the coaches at this amazing gym!!! Our family cannot say enough about how amazing this gym is for us and all the amazing athletes here at Carolina Elite!! Carolina Elite is an excellent cheer gym with top notch cheer and tumbling coaches. We have been driving from Carolina Beach to Hampstead for three years for my daughter to cheer here even though we pass by another cheer gym that's closer to us. Everyone is so welcoming and so talented in what they do. I highly recommend that you check out Carolina Elite if you're looking for a cheer/ tumbling gym. It's worth the drive!

Carolina elite is a amazing gym! Carolina elite feels so much like a family, and the coaches are always paying full attention to the athletes. Everyone at Carolina elite is so welcoming, I have been going to Carolina elite for about 5 years now. I have learned soooooo much from every coach and even other athletes! The cheerleading teams are so exciting and fun to watch! Coaches are great at explaining and so encouraging, and they make me want to keep cheering.Carolina elite is very sanitary, unlike other gyms I have been to. Before competitions all of the coaches have great energy and are always cheering us on. While we are making are routine the coaches are very good about giving everyone a chance to do the skill/stunt.If someone is going to be late to practice they are very laid back and so understanding. The owners are amazing they are always and I mean always in a GREAT mood.I could never ask for a better gym, Carolina elite is where my heart is !❤️
