Carolina Flipz is great! I went for open gym a while ago where Coach Gena was instructing. She was very instructive and catered to each person’s needs seeing that I didn’t have much experience. She had fun activities and organized games for everyone to play. The gym had plenty of options for things each person could choose to do. Great experience!

We LOVE Carolina Flipz! My daughter started in rec gymnastics when she was 5 and they were in the old facility. We took a year away and came back to the wonderful facility they are in now! One of the worst gyms ever encountered. They have hidden fees in their contracts, no progression with the teen coaches doing the same things each week. Extremely overpriced and horrible customer service. Do not waste your money or time here not worth it. You don't even get a t-shirt with all the money you spend. Terrible. Do not go here!!!

For any one interested in finding a unique and versatile way to build strength, confidence, and endurance to you children n a safe supported environment look no further then Carolina Flipz! Seriously I have so much love and respect for the team. Every tear of their program is amazing. And besides the A+++ staff , they listen to those members that show up and provide the feedback. They adapt to the changing challenges and opportunities in the world of competitive cheer.
My son joined this gym 2 years ago and it has since become family commitment. A dedicated safe place for us to not only know our children are being cared for by the amazing staff like COACH JUSTIN, TJ, and the newest addition COACH WILLOW. I can’t sing there praises high enough for the confidence and pure joy they have help me create with fun events like Trunk-OR-Treet, open gym ( my personal favorite), and movie nights and nerf battles, and on and on. I have to also make sure I give a big shout out to ANGI DAVIS. She has been involved in this journey since day one. While I have not had many encounters directly I’m definitely a fan of her work and the team she put together to support this gym! And of course the amazing team maintaining the professional, welcoming, and constantly supportive environment .in an ever changing chaotic and likely not thought of environment. Theses next people equally hold a special place in my heart for taking the time to maintain the vibe specifically thy dynamic duo of STELLA and ISABELLA ! The way they take the time to great everyone with a smile and remember the children’s names is so awesome. It warms my heart to she them greet at the beautiful little children as they walk in, by name. So small but such a great step to show there commitment to this family and the dream I feel they are all trying to hard to accomplish. I read all the reviews and saw the consistent 5 stars reviews (I always gloss over the few people who always seem to complain about their own problems) so we signed my 3 boys up for "Ninja" camp for the week. Not only did they have an awesome time with the counselors and are now more interested in gymnastics, but they are spent the week working out and playing less video games. Yeah!! Love to see them tired from playing hard all day and not glazed over from staring at a screen all day. Finally something fun enough to get them moving and off the game consoles. Thank you.

I would not recommend this facility. I took my children to an open gym recently and was shocked to see the free samples of energy drinks available to any age, at a children's height table. When I overheard a young child in the bathroom bragging about how many energy drinks they drank, I was in disbelief. I did communicate my concerns to the owner via private message and sent her a picture of the label of the drinks they were offering, which stated it is not for children. But she reassured me that she was just a female business owner who makes mistakes. I hope parents are very careful about who they entrust with their children.

Do not sign a contract. Pay the extra money and go month to month. My 3 year old did want to participate anymore and would throw tantrums in each class. We tried switching times and classes and the owner would still not let us out of the contract. I understand the contract for older girls and competitive teams. Not for a 3 year old.

Don’t sign contract with this gym unless you know what you get yourself into. Don’t sign it because of your kids come out after try out class and told you they’re happy and enjoy it. It takes couple weeks of practice to learn that it’s not the right one but then you can’t end the contract.

My daughter got injured at practice, she had doctor note for not allowing her to do anything and I brought the note to the gym to ask if I could cancel our contract. They said according to the contract I had to pay 80% of the remaining tuition of the remaining months, which was $200 a month for 8 months of doing nothing so we kept our contract. When my daughter came back to the gym, I kept telling her to be extra careful and not doing anything that she didn’t feel safe. Basically, it’s my kid’s job to keep her safe rather than the coach’s job. And remember to document every time your kid fall and get hurt at this gym.

I called them to inform about the injury and all they said was sorry and updated them with he recovery but they didn’t put that in my daughter’s file. I assumed they kept the record until the owner told me that there’s no record of her injuries and she made it my fault. So in my daughter’s case, the coaches ( her Ariel silk coach and her gymnastics coach) didn’t inform me or even called me when the incident happened. I found out when I came to pick her up. My daughter told me that she saw kids got hurt very often at this place. This is not a safe gym comparing to her old gym.

I had two competitive gymnasts and through out those year of practice at their old gym, we had no injuries at all and my daughter was here for three months and she had two injuries. The last one happened that put her out of the gym for three months.

I feel that their contract is to protecting the business and is so unfair to parents. Life has so many uncertainties and hardship, but the parents had no ways to cancel it without costing them a fortune even with legit reason.

My daughter came to Carolina Flips for an Ariel Silk class and she fell on a floor without a mat and had a concussion . Her coach didn’t call us and she made my daughter sat out until the class was over. Since we had a contract that we couldn’t end it at that time because I didn’t bring up the safety issue. She switched to do recreational gymnastic class and she fell in love with the sport again. Coach Ximena was very nice and made her feel comfortable to be at the gym. My daughter had been dealing with anxiety and didn’t like to go anywhere but she’s looking forward to come to practice to be around coach Ximena. That’s a big deal for us and we really appreciated coach Ximena for what she had done for our daughter . However, during the practice she slipped on the mat and hurt her shoulder that she had to stop coming to practice for a couple months. Fast forward to now,the gym asked us if we wanted to renew the contract , I told them I don’t want to renew it. They asked me why and I told them she didn’t feel safe. After hearing our reason, the owner told us that we needed to end the contract now. I’m fine with ending the contract but she had 13 tokens from missing 3 months of practice that she needed to spend within a month. For my daughter case, it was impossible to use them all in a month and the gym would not refund the money. I asked them to extend the contract to another month so my daughter could have time to use her tokens but they said no.

The lesson I have learned from this gym is I would never sign a contract with them and I would never recommend my friends or family to send their kids here. Even though my daughter would be very sad because she would not see coach Ximena but taking from the owner’s advice to me “ she would never send her kids to a gym where she doesn’t feel safe or stop letting her kids coming to a gym where the parents don’t feel safe. “ I really appreciated her advice and I would take her advice to share it with my friends and family .

I am a stay-at-home mom and wanted my daughter to try something new, considering she never went to daycare and is very social. I found Carolina Flipz in my search for things to do nearby, so I decided to try out a trial class. When her class ended, the instructor greeted all the other parents and walked past my husband and me. I thought at first, okay, maybe a lot is going on, and she will come. She took her sweet time and eventually greeted us last with a “fake nice” attitude. It almost felt like this was a free class, and she was doing us a favor. She didn't have to speak with us first, but she could have said a simple hello, at least. It is called common courtesy. We will not spend our money in a place with poor customer service. This is not a place I would feel comfortable leaving my daughter unattended based on the instructor's attitude. My advice to any parent thinking about this place, please stay and watch your child. No telling how that lady would have treated our daughter if we were not there. Thankfully, we found another facility with a better instructor that we are much more comfortable with. Always remember, when you are paying for something in life, make sure you are getting good service. Don't let any organization make you feel like you are a charity case when you are essentially helping them to run a business.

We were members of another highly rated gym, however, the culture was such that my daughter was beginning to show signs of anxiety about returning to class. We took our time going to each gym in the area to make a change. When we found Carolina Flipz the vibe was totally different than any other gym. Challenging but supportive with lots of encouragement. She immediately knew this was the place she wanted to be. This is how a gym should feel. Coach Keys had so many things set up for us to climb on and through and under and jumping, bounce and hanging she engaged with us as well as giving us our free space to run around ❣️❣️❣️ She showed us new things to try and made sure that we didn’t miss anything ‼️‼️We will definitely be back! They also have and AED on site.

Just spent 4 days at Carolina Flipz while in town for a clinic. Great place for kids to learn gymnastics tumbling & ninja. Beautiful clean facility & great coaches! Their kids night out was so fun to observe.

I can honestly say my daughter is 11 now and this is the first place/activity that she has stayed interested in the coaches are very nice and they keep my daughter's attention I'm very satisfied with this facility. We started off with a summer pass but definitely will becoming a member and I'll be adding my youngest daughter into the ninja classes I look forward to being part of this sports family

Both of my girls have done gymnastics at other gyms but it wasn’t until we found Flipz that I’ve seen their passion for gymnastics soar and their skills improve leaps and bounds. I can’t keep them away from this place no matter how hard I try! They love it l, and I’m happy because I see with my eyes that my money is well spent here! This gym has supported my daughter in the Allstar Cheer program for the last 3 years and continues to do so through their temporary closing due to the pandemic. My daughter is feeing good about the safety precautions put in place as we slowly return to the practice space. They have offered a variety of ways for athletes to engage with coaches and each other during the time out of they gym. We are excited for a new season to start!
