I felt like I should share my experience after attending tonight’s practice with my niece. When leaving at 6 tonight, the staff lady sitting at podium by the snack machine showed appalling behavior. This little girl told the woman that the girl next to her was hitting her. The woman responded with, “we don’t tattle on our friends.” Extremely inappropriate response to a child who is asking an ADULT for help who should know better than a child. Tattle tale or not, no one should be touching others without consent. The little girl kept insisting that she was being hit but the woman kept telling her the same thing in an annoying little kids voice. Adults should be firm with children to not touch others and behave properly. I believe the little girl who got hit by her classmate deserves an apology and this woman should not be in childcare. Adults should be trustworthy for kids to go to when they need help, not condone inappropriate behavior.

Danke!

We just had my son’s birthday party there. I think parents should be very aware that there is zero wiggle room on their schedule. They have parties back to back to back. If your guests arrive early they will send them back outside. You’re in the gym for an hour which was a good amount of time. Then when the your gym hour is up you have exactly 30 minutes to get every one back into the party room, sat down, eat, do cake and then they want all of your stuff out at exactly 1.5 hours (less than 30 minutes to eat by the time everyone gets a plate of food). It was not enough time for our guests to eat and have cake and they did basically kick us out. For $345 it was not worth it to us to be rushed like that. The two girls who were our hosts were very sweet and helpful, no complaints there. I just want people to understand what they are signing up for when they book a party here.

My daughter begged me to enroll her into gymnastics 3 years ago so I signed her up for the intro level 1 class at CGA after attending the open play for preschoolers previously. This is a well run gym with attentive, friendly and invested coaches and owners. We have been so blessed to watch our daughter's passion for gymnastics grow and flourish now on the competitive team at CGA. She just wrapped up her first year competing and is so excited to get back to training new skills for next season. We drive 60 minutes round trip to the gym twice a week....because CGA is worth it.

My daughter has been taking classes at CGA for the last 3 years. She really enjoys it and has loved all of her instructors. She is always practicing and has shown great improvement! I only wish they offered a slightly later class time.😏

I only have positive things to say about CGA! Very well organized, quality teaching, and the the nicest, most caring coaches.
In addition to a daughter on the rhythmic gymnastics team, my younger daughter is in their Gym and Learn preschool- it is great for kids who like to stay active and happy! A great mix of physical activity, playtime, outdoor time, and circle time where they are exposed to some beginning concepts to start their learning journey- it also includes an hour in the gym every day. She comes home smiling and can't wait to go back the next day.

My daughter is 8 and has been coming for classes and camp since she was 4. She loves every second of it and I feel extremely comfortable leaving her with the staff at CGA. If you are looking for a great outlet for your child and or a camp that they will beg you to do over and over again, this is your place! They also offer parents night out which is great for parents to get a moment to themselves while the kids are super entertained. Love love love this place!

I am still so thankful for Carolina Gymnastics after my son's birthday party had been delayed due to hurricane Florence and they opened the gym just for us the week after! Their staff was so nice, polite, and helpful. It made the party so easy and fun! Thank you!!

My son which is 4 attended the preschool program. I was in shock by how unprofessional this entire group was and the lack of communication between the owner, her daughter, and the staff. I attended a little party for my son when he turn 4, you are allow to bring cupcakes and spend 30 minutes with your child. I was informed by one of the instructors that my son cried for over an hour each day. I was so frustrated my wife could of picked my son up at anytime but no one ever called. I started researching and over a week talked to another instructor they told me that my son only cried for 30 minutes a day? I was at a lost of words. I went to make a formal complaint with the owner that was aware I was on my way in when she saw me she shut her door and refused to talk to me. Extremely unprofessional and just plain rude. I called the owner 4 times left detailed messages never heard anything. The following week I was called saying my son hit the teacher and now he was band from the school, my son has never hit anyone. My wife and I tried to have a joint meeting with the instructor and owner which are mother and daughter never happened was told they weren’t interested in a sit down. I did receive an email a week later from the owner calling my wife and myself liars and terrible parents. I would recommend this business to no one and will be making a formal complaint with the BBB.

We tried "Watch me play" option. It's for kids 5 years and under. $6 per child and free for adults from 9 am to 11 am. It's an open area that includes one small slide and 3 places for jumping. It might be good for kids that love to jump and climb. Since my son is 22 months old, he did have many options. He was switching between trampoline and the small slide.

I would not recommend for a birthday party. Party space small. The kids enjoyed play time. But after shopping and picking out an awesome gift you would like to see the child open presents. They did not allow them to be opened. Said they box them and you take them home. Opening presents is An important part of the birthday for the guests as well as the birthday person. I would not suggest having a party here if you want the whole birthday experience.

The stars above are irrelevant. I’m reviewing simply because the website says this gym offers classes for all ages. When I called and spoke to Taylor I was informed that boys classes are available only to age 10 and she was unaware of any gymnastics classes in our area for teenage boys. Which is opposite of what is stated on their website. This is not a complaint just information as the person I spoke with was nice and we have never been there.

Normally my kids love the open gym. We showed up recently to play and were told my oldest (6) was too old and were told to leave. I had to drag 3 crying kids out. This age limit was never enforced or advertised during play time.

Took my 17 month old daughter here today based on a recommendation from someone else. Nicky was so friendly when showing us around and telling us about the Watch Me Play program. Monday through Saturday between 9 and 11am, children from 6 months to 5 years old can play in the gymnastics area for $6/day or $25 for a 5 visit punch card. Children are supervised by their parents and the room is a shoe free zone. Nicky gives children a sticker when leaving. The gym was very nice and clean. It was a nice way to get out of the house and allow my daughter to get some active play in, which she thoroughly enjoyed. We got the 5 visit punch card so that we can begin going regularly.

Love Carolina Gymnastics. It is a fun safe enviroment for children to learn and play. The staff is always friendly and helpful. My five year old has been here a year and enjoys it so much on the Tiny Team. I also have a two year old who loves the gym and learn in the mornings. I would recommend this gymnastics academy to everyone.

Our daughter is in the gym and learn preschool program and she loves is just as much as we do. She's always excited to go to school and has learned everything she needs to enter kindergarten and more! Miss Zoey and Miss Stephanie have been incredibly patient and encouraging, and Coach Michelle always has a smile to welcome her in. Our girl has also learned something new in gymnastics every week and has grown in her academic and physical skills significantly. We simply can't say enough great things about Carolina Gymnastics and are so happy to have found a such a wonderful program for our girl!
