My kids are in half day school so the 1:30 class is perfect for us. The teachers are absolutely amazing. They go above and beyond to connect with the kids. Everyone I talk to recommends gymnastics for boys too. Love this place. Scheduling staff is super helpful. Definitely sign up!

My girl is happy to come to this place and loves the camps. They are friendly and each of the coaches are hospitable with the way they welcome each person.

Very nice gym! The staff is very friendly. My daughter went to the summer camp and enjoyed the place. She only went for a short duration but improved very much

We had an awesome birthday party here for my 5 year old! It was a hit across all ages who attended the party... even the parents. So much fun for the kids, the gym did everything (down to providing the decor and goodie bags), and the coaches were super hands on and provided great guidance for the kiddos. I wish I had all their names to shout them out! Thanks Chapel Hill Gymnastics!

We’ve been going for around a year now, and my daughter who is 5 has really developed her coordination, motor, and social skills because of it. Her teacher is fabulous and the front desk employees are kind. (They even do her hair for me because I’m terrible at it!) The actual gym is spacious and the equipment is in good shape. While my daughter’s future may be in something other than gymnastics, her development because of it is building a solid foundation.

Mr. Andrew, the martial arts instructor, is absolutely outstanding! Our kids did both martial arts and gymnastics here. Both had really great experiences. Our son did martial arts with Mr. Andrew for 5 years, from the age of four to nine, and we cannot speak more highly of him and his coaching. We only stopped because we moved out of state. He is an outstanding instructor for children, having both high expectations of them but also realizing that they are children and treating them accordingly. I would recommend anyone take their children here for, martial arts especially!

We have been customers at Chapel Hill Gymnastics for the past six years and have been happy with their services and staff until recently. The gymnastics classes are especially busy and the young children in classes do not seem well supervised. With multiple ongoing classes of varying levels of skill, combined with lack of order and supervision, there is distraction and interference creating what seems like dangerous conditions for possible collisions. They've recently implemented a candy reward at the end of the sessions.

Our daughter's gymnastics' program was cancelled suddenly at Chapel Hill and the communications went out on a Saturday afternoon right as they closed for the weekend. There was zero planning around this as they aren't even certain the current coach will be retained as they try to move the program to their sister gym, where previous issues of predatory behavior have resulted in charges. So poor planning, poor communications, and closing programs suddenly does not make it certain about the longevity of programs or staff.

2 stars, b/c we also attend the martial arts program, which is great and the instructor is terrific, but Chapel Hill Gymnastics as management is not winning any measure of confidence.

We have 1 kid in Chapel Hill Martial Arts (located at Chapel Hill Gymnastics) with Coach Andrew (since 2019), but our entire family is a huge fan of Coach Andrew. Coach Andrew always embodies the entire student creed posted in his room. More importantly, Andrew ensures every kid is having fun each class they attend, while still gaining the necessary skills and discipline to achieve their next belt. Thank you, Coach Andrew, for all you do!

We also have had at least 2 kids (now 3) in recreational gymnastics programs at Chapel Hill Gymnastics since 2018. While the recreational coaches can ebb and flow, the kids have always enjoyed the structure of their classes (parent/tot class through rising stars), the opportunity to learn new skills, and are consistently expected to respect their coaches (shout out to Coach Anna) and other students. Overall, they really enjoy attending classes each week. In addition, 1 kid has attended a kids night out (πŸ‘πŸ‘), 2 kids have attended summer/school break camps (πŸ‘πŸ‘), and 3 kids have attended birthday parties (πŸ‘πŸ‘).

Shout out to the Chapel Hill recreational gymnastics programming all managed by Katya!

She attended her first class this week and I was surprised at how rowdy the class was and the lack of class management. Without prompting, my daughter expressed how unsafe she felt during class because students were not respecting the line, cutting in front of each other and not taking the circuit of exercises seriously. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

My daughter attended classes here pre-covid and we had a great experience.

Very disappointing experience here. We had been with CHG for many years, the last 4 of which our son was on their - very successful! - competitive team. The coaches worked their butts off for these kids. The owners didn’t know us or our kids and never attended meets or communicated in any way with families. Out of nowhere, they laid off one of the 2 boys team coaches and demoted the other one and then blamed the program’s demise on the coaches. Unprofessional, uncaring. FYI - This family also owns Bill City Gymnastics. We are at a new gym now. Look elsewhere.

The owners/managers of CHG are the absolute worst. The fired/demoted their excellent, devoted, successful and caring coaches and disbanded their upper-level teams for no reason and with ZERO communication to/from the team/parents of the team members. Then, in a scramble to save face, they threw the demoted coaches under the bus and blamed them for the chaos that ensued when 50+ athletes lost their gym. These owners/managers are unprofessional, uncaring, uncommunicative and have no business owning a gym.

Both my daughters have been frequenting chapel hill gymnastics for over 3 years. Taking gymnastics and martial arts classes and doing camps and kids night. We have always experienced the same very high level of care as well towards athletic performance as towards the child’s well-being.

When Looking at Martial arts, I wish I could give a 20 star rating. Mr. Andrew Jensen pushes his athletes to excellence, but even more important is the way he shapes them as people. He teaches them about respect, about care, … My kids are not only learning karate, but they become better people by his teachings. This is an experience that will reflect on them for the rest of their lives. I can recommend this Tang Soo Do program to everyone.

Do not send your kids here or to Bull City Gymnastics. This gym will stop supporting your gymnasts without notice irrespective of their months or years of effort, investment snd commitment from the gymnasts, their families snd their coaches. Very difficult to understand what is going on here with amazing coaches being laid off snd successful teams bring disbanded without explanation. The managers of this gym (CHG AND BCG) do not deserve your trust or your hard earned dollars, they will discard you and their coaches at their whim!

I’ve been at this gym for 8 years now. I know better than anyone that the recent issues are NOT with the coaches, but with the management. This is the same at Bull City Gymnastics. It breaks my heart to see the gym I love being torn from me by poor management.

The classes here are great and they offer boys and girls gymnastics. The coaches are friendly and train the team well but beginner classes are also offered. There are opportunities for every level gymnast to show off their skills and you learn a lot. If you miss a class you can do a make-up for free which is very helpful and you get the most out of your money. Overall, this is a really great gym.

Great facilities and positive, encouraging learning environment. Our daughter loves the classes and adores Ms. Brittany. The instructors know my child by name and have spent the time to ger to know her which allows them to better connect with her during class and help her get the most out of the experience. She has increased her skills and confidence and has met new friends. We have also done a birthday party which went very smoothly and was a hit. Would highly recommend with no reservations.

Definitely recommend Chapel Hill Gymnastics as a great place for new gymnasts. We love Ms. Brittany and her Wednesday night tumbling class! Definitely a great learning environment for many different levels of experience (which we greatly appreciate since my daughter is new to gymnastics).
We picked Chapel Hill Gymnastics because of its convenient location and class times. The staff are so friendly, and class signup is easy - we especially like signing up for a 6 session class, with the option to renew for additional class sessions.
We look forward to each class... and we also come occasionally to the Saturday 'Open Gym' class for some extra practice time with more than just tumbling. Always extra happy when Ms. Brittany is there - she knows her students well and ensures each student practices skills that are appropriate for her/his level. Many thanks - to Ms. Brittany and the staff at Chapel Hill Gymnastics!

I have to say that I am really upset with this business. When we signed our kids up for this gymnastics place I was excited because it looked great. And the girls loved it. But we showed up last weekend for our weekend class and we were told that not only had the session ended with no notice but also there was no place in the class for our kids - they had filled the class and had only one spot left. When we asked why we weren't notified that the class had ended we were told that we "got an email". But the thing that made me really upset was that someone said to my 8 year old, "are you guys making this up?" as if 2 children are trying to swindle a gymnastics gym. We will not be returning to this gym.
