Charlotte Yoga is the place to go in Charlotte for the best yoga experience! There are now two locations, Parktowne and Carmel. All the teachers are amazing and each has their own unique style. New sculpt classes are now available at Carmel. Lots of fun workshops to attend as well.

This is my favorite studio here in town. I love the fact that they have mirrors (not always found in studios) and the temperature is ideal for hot classes. There are many teachers which have left an impression on me through creative sequencing and encouragement. The schedule is also one of the more accommodating for a busy schedule.

From beginner to the most advanced, this is the perfect yoga studio. Suzanne Bergen is Charlotte's best known yoga secret. Jen Eddins, Rian Harris, Heather Sprouse, Buffy McCoy Kelly, Katie Buckner, and every other teacher and staff member at this studio are excellent. Such a great place to take classes! I started going to yoga here in February as a beginner & everyone is really friendly and welcoming. The instructors are all amazing and there are a variety of classes for cheap rates at $10-$20 per class or other package deals. I don't often write reviews but I have had such a consistently positive experience here and I look forward to going to class every week. Thank you CY!

UPDATE: Management has reached out and clarified that I did not lose a class. That is a relief. I recall the FitGrid app showing one less class so I have uninstalled that app and will only use the Charlotte Yoga app from now on. With all this said, I wish the exercise community as a whole would normalize that "life happens" and be more lenient towards missed classes or changes to schedules. Oh well....

I've been going to this location on and off for probably 10 years. After my babies I have gone back to exercise classes and it has been great. Unfortunately, I completely forgot about a class I had signed up for. Not only did Charlotte Yoga take the class (reasonable) BUT they also charge $20!!! I emailed them explaining my forgetfulness and apologizing and no one responded. Look, I get small businesses need to hold people accountable for things but this is too much. It really seems like a way to make a quick buck. Exercise should not be stressful or empty your pockets. I have one more class left on my pass and I will be moving on to another studio afterward. A real shame that this gave me a bad taste in my mouth because I love Suzanne's classes.

This is my absolute favorite studio in charlotte. As a yoga instructor myself, I can get selective with studios and the energy here is amazing. In town for 2 weeks. Called all the yoga places in the area but none of them met my needs. I do 1.5 hours of Bikram Yoga in Naples,FL in 105 degrees with modifications for my dbl knee-replacements. I went 3 times so far to CY in 95 degree heat &loved it! The teachers are passionate, soulful & hands on. The staff is wonderful. They give you towels +you can rent a mat. You will love going here.

Charlotte Yoga has excellent instructors with excellent classes. They have a great blend of creativity, music, challenging/varying classes, and mindfulness. The yoga studio is spacious with high ceilings, mirrors, and windows. It is clean, with plenty of room to socially distance from your neighbors' mat. They offer virtual classes, too. Highly recommend!

I want to like this place, i really do. The teachers are good and the vibe seems nice. But with the recent change in ownership they have made some unfortunate changes. Almost all class times have been shortened to one hour. Unless you live within a short drive of the studio, it's almost not worth the drive through Charlotte traffic for an hour class. Also almost all classes are suffocatingly hot. I understand the appeal and benefits of warm and some hot classes. I just wish there were a greater variety of classes on the schedule. Unless you like it really, really hot, (like light-headed, i-need-to-get-out-of-here hot), then this studio has limited appeal.

I have tried a variety of YOGA places from Lake Norman to Blakeney.
What I LOVE about Charlotte Yoga is the feeling.
The staff isn't snobby. They make a genuine effort to learn and remember your name.
The classes are challenging, yet teaches to all levels for newbies. The music at Charlotte Yoga ROCKS. They put the fans on sporadically and open the door.... which is a little piece of heaven.
