I help women improve their health and fitness through functional strength training and cardio, but nutrition is extremely important as it plays into around 75-80% of our body weight and is the area to focus on for fat loss. Overall health takes exercise and nutrition hand in hand! I support each client with accountability and a program to meet their personal goals and needs. I also focus on healthy aging which includes mobility and balance work. Check with me on when I’m hosting the next JUMPSTART to fitness camp, which is a small group fitness class!

We've been working out with Lindsey since January 2025. She's been a great motivator for us, and she's done a fantastic job of creating workouts that are challenging and varied. We also appreciate that she is willing to accommodate our travel/work schedules by moving around training sessions when needed. And on top of all that, she's a lovely person that's become a friend!

Lindsey is the best - we have seen major progress in just a couple months of seeing her twice a week. We're feeling more energetic, have lost weight, and are feeling very strong for other activities in our lives. Lindsey has a great attitude and is just fun to be around. She will design workouts tailored to you - they are hard enough to make sure you are getting stronger each day, but are still fun and won't absolutely kill you :) If you're looking for a trainer, look no further.

Lindsey is amazing!! I was worried about getting back into working out postpartum after a twin pregnancy. Lindsey was very knowledgeable about what I should and shouldn't be doing with my recovery. Lindsey is an expert in personal training. She develops workout plans that are challenging but does not overexert me. I needed accountability for exercising and she is able to accommodate schedule changes due to work obligations. I am a visual learner and she demonstrates correct technique which is very helpful. I LOVE having Lindsey as my personal trainer! I actually am someone who dislikes working out in general and will only do it if I’m paying a trainer! I’ve had multiple trainers throughout the last 10-20 years but Lindsey is my favorite. She keeps it interesting, pushes me, and my favorite part is that she joins in on the workout WITH me! She is great at checking in and keeping me accountable on my days off. I also love that she is very body positive and encourages me to continue eating things I love and not being super strict but making small adjustments to better my overall health.

If you’re hesitant to start a fitness journey, or anxious about restarting after a long hiatus, I totally understand. I’m what you refer to as “fat but fit” - had always been on the bigger side while consistently remaining active and healthy. That was, until COVID happened. Unfortunately I became sedentary and soon enough I was noticing the effects of my poor choices in various ways. I decided to join a weekly fitness class that Lindsey was offering through the community. I quickly came to find out that Lindsey is knowledgeable and passionate about what she does. She’s got a voracious desire to keep abreast of the latest research and data when it comes to nutrition and movement. But beyond that, what makes Lindsey stick out and make me appreciate her so much is that she truly exudes body positivity. I have never felt an iota of shame or embarrassment about my weight when working with her and she treats all her clients with the same respect and dignity no matter their size or fitness level. I notice that she doesn’t give a second thought about favoring those who are more fit or further along on their fitness journey. This was something I noticed right away and have appreciated the entire time. Lindsey is a gem.

Can’t recommend Lindsey enough! I was just getting back into a workout routine and was worried that a trainer would be more than I was ready for. Lindsey will meet you wherever you are with positivity, encouragement, and absolutely no judgment! She wants feedback on what makes you motivated and what is a great workout for you personally. Looking into personal training was something I was always hesitant to do but so glad I did! Lindsey has made a great impact on my personal fitness journey this past year. She creates workouts that are focused on my needs and creates routines that are challenging to say the least but in a good way! Routines include but not limited to HIIT, weight training and core. It is apparent she is very knowable about all aspects of fitness and nutrition. After working with her I have seen a great improvement in my strength, flexibility and stamina in my workouts. She always keeps me motivated when training with her and I love that she stays connected with her clients even outside of the gym on how they are doing. I would and have highly recommended her to others.

I could tell on day one of training that Lindsey is passionate about personal training and helping people reach their goals. I originally was hesitant to search for a personal trainer because I was worried my coach would act like a drill sergeant. I'm also 41 years old, hadn't worked out in years, and didn't have enough upper body strength to do even one push-up on day one. Lindsey set me at ease and slowly helped me gain strength at a pace that was manageable for me. She is amazing, upbeat and just a positive person, someone you want in your corner while you are trying to meet your fitness goals. She was very patient with me as I learned new exercise moves, and she encouraged me to push myself in a way that felt comfortable and possible for me. I also was excited and surprised that I started to see results in my body way earlier than I expected. I cannot recommend Lindsey and Choose to Move Fitness enough! She is the coach you want by your side on your fitness journey, trust me!

I love doing personal training with Lindsey. She is very good about correcting my form to make sure I’m getting the maximum benefit out of weight training. She always have a well-organized plan for our training sessions. She also keeps the sessions moving. Even when I try to stop and make conversation (in an effort to procrastinate), she politely keeps me focused on the workout. I highly recommend Lindsey. Absolute value for the money.
