Been here for two years now the growth my daughter has shown has been amazing. Nicole and Gracie are two of the best coaches she has had. And it just feels like family.

We love CGC! Our daughter has been part of the USAG competition team for 2 years. The owners and coaches are kind and supportive. If you’re looking for experienced coaches for any level of gymnastics (beginner, rec, competitive) we recommend CGC!

I have been a gymnast here for seven years and it is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! All the coaches are uplifting yet still give corrections, and are some of my favorite people to be around. I have had a number of coaches over the years and all are excellent spotters. I have even worked with our now boys team coach and can say that he and the boys team are just as amazing as the girls team! The other gymnasts themselves are awesome and some of best friends. I can’t put into words just how amazing this place is!

I’m so happy that my son started at Clemmons Gymnastics a year ago! From the very beginning, the coaches saw his potential and worked with him to develop his skills. Thanks to their dedication and expertise, he has progressed quickly and is now competing. The way they nurture and challenge the athletes is truly impressive. The staff is knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely invested in each child’s success. I highly recommend this gym to any parent looking for a place where their child can grow, improve, and feel encouraged every step of the way!

I highly recommend. My daughter has been attending beginners classes since the beginning of October. The coaches are patient and encouraging. when she started she was very self defeating and if she couldn't do it she would try to give up. Watching the progress she has made and the confidence she has built has been amazing. I'm very thankful that we decided to sign her up here.

Horrible place!! DO NOT GO!!
I decided to give this a place try despite seeing all the negative reviews cause I like to be hopeful. First off it’s a hole in the wall without enough parking, the entrance is in a random place. The main area is way too small for the amount of people in there, there’s not enough room to sit. It’s poorly lighted and feels dirty just sitting there. The bathrooms are always taken and when they do open up there’s trash everywhere built up so there’s no care taken. They change teachers so often there’s no consistency and some of them look like they’ve never practiced gymnastics a day in their life! The kid area for classes looks like a prison. And lastly the woman sitting at the computer has got to be one of the rudest individuals I’ve ever experienced, this place is supposed to be a business but she is unprofessional, short and likes to talk over you.
DO NOT GO !!!

I had been taking my daughter here for years doing gymnastics classes and summer camp classes because of the convenience to where I live. My daughter had fun there but today I was yelled at, and cut off numerous times when discussing the payment situation with this week of camp. The woman on the phone was very rude to me and I’ve put so much money in that place I found it disrespectful and unprofessional. I took my card off file and we will not be going back there. I wish I looked at all the negative reviews before I started signing my daughter up there.

We've been going here for a few months, and have had a great experience so far. My daughter loves it, and she enjoys her coaches. Her coaches instruct her, and although she is not in a competitive class (yet) they do try and push her to be a better gymnast. There has only ever been, in the months we've been there, one circumstance I had to clarify whether something I saw was a new protocol, and I was met with a transparent, and kind response with the reassurance it would be addressed. This is one of the few facilities that will actually sit and allow you to watch your child practice. Many will not because of interfering parents that do not appreciate any negative response towards their kids. But for me and mine, we respect the coaches to do what they're there for, which is teach and challenge these babies how to be better gymnasts. I've never seen any of the coaches, nor have I been told by my daughter, that they've been rude or condescending. They simply have certain expectations and protocols in place to ensure that all kids are getting what they need from their classes. We have no intention of going anywhere any time soon. We'd recommend.

Avoid taking your kids here at all costs. I took my kids out 2 months ago and it was the best decision I ever made. I wish I would’ve listened a little earlier. If you read the reviews there’s a common trend to with unprofessional employees.

The teachers are extremely rude to the point where my kids were consistently asking to be taken out of afterschool care. My son was talking when he wasn’t supposed to and was advised to write sentences for a little over an hour before I picked him up. When approached with concern you will be met with attitude.

My daughter is 4 and developed a fear of doing the flip over the bar. The teacher/owner tried to get her to put her hands on the bar, do a half flip, etc, but my daughter simply had a fear. She would complete every other move in the 45 minute class, but she would not do the flip. And I knew she’d get over her fear in time, she was just stuck for a bit.
The teacher began by not giving my daughter the hand stamp reward at the end of class because of her “defiance.” Then she would wait many minutes at the bar when it was my daughter’s turn telling her in a stern voice to try it. Then it escalated to the teacher sending my daughter to sit with the parents out in the audience if she was not going to try to flip. When I questioned her about this, she said that that is what she does. She said, “not only is she not trying, it's very disruptive to the rest of the group when (my daughter) starts pitching a fit.” I have videos of this, and my daughter never “pitched a fit.” She simply stands there, terrified almost crying saying, “ I can’t do it” until finally the teacher releases her to continue doing the rest of the circuit.
My point is this: the teacher saw my daughters fear as defiance, and she treated it as such. And when I quit on January 23 over this style that I consider unhelpful, she used the agreement loophole to attempt to charge me for February because you “must give a 30 day written notice.” Of course, she offered other classes, but we did not want to stay at a gym that uses bullying and punishment techniques to help a child conquer their fears.

Zero Stars! Stay Away!!! Owner's are very rude to the parents and kids they are paid to serve. They use shame and humiliation tactics rather than developing plans to help children overcome fears.

Your reply to the above is an interesting spin on what actually happened (video proof). A four year old expressing fear is not defiance or disruptive. Rather than speaking with her parents first to develop a plan to help her overcome her fears, you chose humiliation. Other parents expressed their feelings to us about the mistreatment. Perhaps we would have chosen a different class had you come to us first and exercised some decorum and professionalism. Anyway… happy to be gone.

Very rude and very greedy. Been going for years been on time for every payment. We missed one payment I called to correct the missed payment and was told a charge of 95$ would be made no mention of late fees . They charged 95$
Then immediately refunded it and charged 130 instead
when my wife called to clarify we were greeted by a incredibly rude condescending woman who advised it was for “late fees”
Which would be fine had she been upfront about it and advised of the fees instead of being sneaky

When asked to speak to the owner she just hung up on me. They need to find a new secretary one who is capable of professionalism
Greedy greedy nasty and hugely unprofessional
Do yourself a favor and take your kids to a professional establishment

Just a heads up I don't know about it now but I did compression fracture my spine here like in 2016-17 doing a parkour class. Be careful and vent your instructors. Had some flashbacks and wanted to see if the place was still open. Gymnastics is just inherently dangerous just watch your kids and be safe. Figured I'd drop this dime.

I will not be enrolling my daughter here again largely because of my final interactions with the owner. Initially my daughter enjoyed her class and liked her instructor. However, after a few months my daughter was less excited about attending, and we accumulated 18 absences. I told the owner we would no longer be attending her scheduled class, but then saw my card charged again the next month. I called again to remind her we told her we would no longer be attending, and was informed I was charged again because I hadn't provided "written" notice. So then I emailed written notice days after being charged (and weeks after first telling her we would no longer attend) and my card was charged AGAIN the next month because my "written notice" was "less than 30 days before my card would be charged again.

I never leave reviews but I am just absolutely disgusted by their customer service. I just called to get information on their gymnastics because their website is not very helpful, but the extremely rude customer service lady got an attitude with me and accused me of calling from some other gym to get information. Incredibly rude guess I will chose another gym anyways since they didn’t want to help me.

If you are interested at all about signing your child(ren) up for a gymnastics class Clemmons Gymnastics is a must see! The new facility is spacious, safe and clean! My daughter is currently on team there and we joke that it is her home away from home, but that is the feeling you get from such an amazing place. Coaches and staff work hard to help improve each child’s maximum potential with learning new skills and the kids have fun while working hard! We love Clemmons Gym!

My daughter has been attending here for 2 years for gymnastics and has just started the after school program this year which has been just as awesome. The older gym was a little tight but the new location is much bigger and wide open so you can see everything going on all at once. The staff is incredible and pushes each child to be their best. Prices are pretty good also. My daughter comes home with her homework complete (or at least most of it) and tired.

Our daughter is about a month and a half into the pre-K class here. She ABSOLUTELY loves it!! She looks so forward to her weekly lesson. The teachers know how to engage her and keep her on task. That is difficult considering she's only 3. The length of time for the lesson is the perfect amount. The new facility is GREAT and couldn't be easier to access from Hwy 40. Couldn't be happier with our decision to start our 3 year old here!! Come one, come ALL!!!

Maybe we went on a bad day at the end of season because I have a friend who loves this place. Our experience was this: The staff was unprofessional, unhelpful and unfriendly on our trial visit to a Beginner Class. I was concerned about safety when a High School student was teaching and they require you to sign an agreement that explains the great dangers of gymnastics and you must agree that you won't sue them if your child dies or is seriously injured. (YIKES!)

I hate that this didn't work out for us because they are so convenient and have good prices and a lot of classes.

This place is horrible. I took my daughters for trial Beginner class. As I said BEGINNER! They told the girls to do handstands and did not ask or offer any assistance. Of course my 5 year old daughter fell and bruised/hurt her collar bone . Who asks someone to do a hand stand in their 1st class, They also were saying if you fell you had to go back to the start. This is ridiculous to ask a 5 yr old in her first class! I do not understand how they are running this place. You can get seriously hurt in gymnastics and these teachers were just shouting out moved and not helping!

Waste of time and money. Child did not have fun. Found the staff to be incapable of managing two children. I realize, that, that is far too many for them to handle. Perhaps they should have one on one, or just shut down. Not getting what I expected for the money.
Found the lack of communication from the instructors, to be unprofessional. If they had a problem, they should bother to communicate that.
Enjoy the review!
