Fitness 2000 is a great place to get a good work out and meet great people. The staff is always friendly and willing to help. Wouldn’t go to a different gym if they paid me!!!!

Once you're in the system, you can't cancel your membership. They will charge you fraudulently again and again. Thank goodness that we were smart enough to sign up with a credit card, so we could get the transactions blocked. They'll try to talk you into using a bank draft, and God help you if you let them have access to your bank account. They try to sign you up to a contract that says that you have to come in and fill out paperwork to leave, to make leaving by their terms rather difficult for most people. When we went in, they told us that their printer wasn't working, so they couldn't do the paperwork, but then promised us that it would be taken care of. Whatever you do, don't give these people your bank account.

I’ve personally had a membership at 2 other gyms and both times I never really felt welcomed or like I should be there but at Fitness 2000 I constantly felt invited. All of the workers are very helpful and will answer any questions you may have. The gym itself is phenomenal. They have so many machines and free weights that there’s rarely a time you ever have to wait. It’s an overall great environment and they’re open 24/7 to anyone with a full membership. I highly recommend you at least try the 3 day guest pass they offer online like I did, because it’ll definitely make you want a membership.

A basic gym with some added features. A wide range of fitness classes and several trainers to help you get healthier (for additional fee.)

I have trained here for a little over a year. You cannot beat this gym and 24/7 access for the money. It is not a β€œposh” gym and a lot of long term fitness people go here for the value. Most people are nice, but many value there time and are not there to make friends. After years of doing it they see training as part of life, and so many other people come and go. They have no desire to be every β€œNew Year Resolutions” Personal trainer. It’s nothing personal, but if they make eye contact with you too long, you will take the opening to start asking questions and never stop until their workout is ruined. Nobody wants to be mean, but sometimes you just want to workout and leave. Me, I will talk and mess up my own workout😱 Good luck staying fit, join a gym not for the people, don’t worry about anyone but yourself. Keep your side of the road clean. Work hard and do the next right thing. Chances are people are not talking about you, or looking at you. Are you really that important? Get rid of the self-centered fear and just say hello😊

Old equipment. Not the best environment. Would not stop charging me after multiple calls (going by there to cancel is difficult since staff is only there normal working hours). They want 30 days notice to cancel too. I moved away from Clemmons area in July. It's January and still not cancelled. I hardly ever write reviews but people need to know this place will cheat you. Join planet fitness $ or golds $$

The owners owe me $170 which they still have not refunded. I have called them 5 times and they have made no attempt to return my money. It has been 6 months and still nothing.

This business will continue to charge you despite your membership ending. Refused to fix the issue after numerous calls and emails about the issue.

For the past three years I have tolerated this gym, but unless you are on a budget go somewhere else. It's usually always overcrowded, people are territorial and hog equipment, lot of I'm bigger and better mental complexes of the men here. You have a 25 dollar annual maintenance fee that I don't understand because the two stairmaster are always broken. This gym is 24 hours however the sauna isn't running 24 hours which is the bathroom which always has rags and trash on the floor daily. Get used to weights not in the right place. They do sell supplements but for full msrp value. Also if you are doing cardio the only thing they ever have on is sports and the Clinton News Network or fake news CNN. I can't stand sports or CNN. Other than that the management and staff are great.

If I could give less than one star I would! Environment was terrible while I was there, the only positive was the trainer I worked with Nick and his service is the only reason I signed a contract to being with.I Signed for a one year membership, they continue to charge me after the one year and are extremely rude ! To top it all off the owner calls me and states I could refund your money for the last 2 months that were passed your one year membership but I refuse to. She could be won't! When I was signing the contract the sales person was too busy to even stop and talk to me or explain anything, live and learn if they don't even have time for you on day one then RUN, they will never have time for you nor care about what you need!!! I wouldn't go there if they paid me too!!

I had a terrible experience with getting them to stop deducting fees after I had cancelled my membership. Otherwise, I enjoyed the yoga classes very much.

I joined fitness 2000 to build strength. I am recuperating from an illness that left me debilitated. When I asked to be shown the machines, I was directed to a trainer to the tune of $200.00 for the month. While training with him, I had several episodes of severe muscle spasm which required additional visits to my massage person. After the first month, I decided that the pain and the expense just wasn't worth it, and that I needed something else. The gym refuses to stop charging me even though I have written to corporate, as they told me to do, explaining the situation. I was just told -"well, you signed a contract and you can't cancel unless you are totally disabled". I am already on disability. My advice it to very careful with these people. In fact, just join the Y. UPDATE -can't get them to stop charging me eventhough my year is finished. I have written to them and spoken to them. had to canel through my credit card company.

I went by to see the gym, get rates, etc. but there was no one working. They have limited "staffed" hours. I wasted my time even going by. Oh well, I joined another gym instead.

Awesome gym! I am one of the personal trainers there and I love it. Members are very friendly and great people. Also I like all the changes that the new owners brought in (more classes - my favorite is Muay Thai, more new equipment, etc.), I cannot wait to see what else is to come!!

I have been a member and personal trainer at Fitness 2000 since 2008. Fitness 2000 now has new owners and is is a great place to work out. The gym is an exciting and motivating place to work out. New equipment is arriving and new and different group classes. I encourage you to stop by!!! Great place!
