Update: Arrived 12/1 to find a sign on the door that says the gym will be closing 12/4. No other information or communication. I paid for a full year (in June) and I guess I can kiss that money goodbye.

Joined in June. This is hands down the dirtiest gym I've ever patroned. Some of this because members don't always practice basic hygiene (wiping equipment down after use) or put things back where they should go (I've had to wander around foolishly a few times looking for certain items only to give up). But also, management doesn't seem to have a regular cleaning schedule. So much dust and grime. The mirrors are speckled with sweat and spit. At times, dirty gym towels and even random garbage is lying around (members should be putting towels away and using the garbage cans, but sometimes the garbage is full, and the only towel bin is at the front). The equipment is often in a state of disrepair as well. It's anyones guess if a treadmill is gonna incline that day or not. Bits of the cable machines have broken, making it difficult to adjust. The music is usually obnoxiously loud. I try to listen to audio books while working out, and I usually can't hear them well. I guess that's my fault for not having noise canceling headphones, but turning it down a bit would great.

For the price and proximity to my home, I can deal with it. There aren't a lot of gym options around that I would be comfortable joining as a non-religious person. But the past week or so, there has been a huge removal of equipment. An entire wall of racks has been dismantled, a bunch of machines are gone, and a ton of cable accessories (and a cable machine) are gone. I can't find the kettlebells anymore. The area where the Smith machines are located has always been dimly lit, but now the lights aren't even on so you're basically in the dark (I'm a woman so it puts me on edge to be in that area now). Is the gym closing? Is it being remodeled? Who knows. Rumors abound. There hasn't been any communication, and there is never an employee around to ask. The staffing has always seemed inconsistent, and when there is someone there, they're usually friendly. But it's been a ghost town the last week or so.

I would love for this gym to stay open and make some needed changes to update and clean up. If management reads this, please let us all know what's going on so we don't have to speculate.

This "club" is permanantly closed. The owners left it to die a miserable death. Check the area often because there was some activity today 12\06\23. The locals are saying it's going to be another gym taking it's place, that has yet to be seen. I believe things now when I see them.

Beware of membership. Literally stopped working bc my son was sick and was airlifted to 3 hrs away, and wasn't thinking about a gym or anything else at that moment. not even 2 months later, I'm canceled with a bill of $1,200.. it has always been if you don't pay, no clearance to get in. Not here. You pay the whole membership. Plus.

Well I went and I will not be back. Nobody there wanted to help us me and my wife to set up a workout plan and I even requested to speak with a trainer. Nope did not happen. The lady that gave us a tour of the place she didn't really seemed into helping with our needs cause they were getting ready for some stupid competition in Charlotte. Sad. Had high hopes for this place. Also turn off the music. It's to loud and not everyone wants to listen to Rock.

This gym is AWESOME. My former gym didn't meet my needs as a bodybuilding competitor so I made the switch after seeing their AWESOME equipment. They have everything. Not only that, there's support all around and others who compete as well. I've never felt more at home than this gym. I'm stoked about having Lauren, an IFBB pro and director of the club, as my new prep coach. And the icing on the cake is my kids loving the kids zone. They're off their electronics and burning energy off playing in three different bouncy houses. I'm grateful to call this gym my new home.

Love, love, love club fitness. Not only is the gym big, spaced to allow for ease of moving from spot to spot without running into others but, they have a ladies only room! I love it in there. Also my children love getting in their workout in the kid zone with the bounce houses! Why not leave the gym and have worn out children?! 100% would say check it out if you haven't.

Going back to the gym after having my child was challenging but their child care they have at the gym is awesome I can not express how grateful I am for the staff their keeping me updated during my workouts on my child through text. All the staff are always super friendly & motivating!
This facility is awesome! We have been members here for a few years & we won’t be leaving anytime soon.
I personally love that they have a ladies only area, to work out with ease & comfort without being worried is truly a gift that more Gyms need.
If you tan, please make sure to ask when bulbs were changed in the tanning beds, I’ve been burnt more times than I can count because they’ll change one or 2 bulbs.
Leaving a very uneven burn 🥴😅
But this is a gym & I blame that on myself & not asking, not the gym employees!

Amazing gym! Under new ownership, and the place is getting completely revamped, after talking to the owner, I can say that the place will be looking even more incredible soon with the plans he has. There are new group classes for women, and a new revamped women's only room. A new boxing room, and a calisthenics section is about to be done. There are even more plans for the future. Would highly recommend this gym for men and women!

1. I have never seen cleaning in the locker room, the mud lay for two months that I went there.
2. Never apply for a membership, because if you decide to change your job and are constantly on business trips, you will not be able to cancel your membership - this is not a reason. Strongly do not recommend this gym.

This place isn’t too bad, spacious and pretty quiet. My complaint is that I wish there was a better area for kick boxing fitness. The spot they have set up honestly feels like a supply closet and not much room for when you want to have enough space to do some kicking. I’d like to see a better set up and maybe more variety of kick boxing fitness equipment.

I really enjoyed the fact that this gym has bouncy houses for the kids, and had a women's only room for when I did weight training. Now for the negative parts..I found many of the machines to be in need of repair. One treadmill wouldn't ever turn on, two stationary bikes were missing the foot straps, just little things like that. It's always uncomfortably hot in there as well. However, My biggest complaint is that after moving 45 minutes away and trying to cancel my membership, the proceeded to tell me they showed no record of me being a member. Of course they continued to charge me my monthly membership fee on top of the annual fee that just hit my account last week. This has gone on for about a month now, so I was finally forced to cancel my debit card to stop them from charging me. My kids enjoyed it, but it was a less than pleasurable experience from start to finish.

I loved this gym when I was in NC but I had to move for my job in February. My contract wasn’t up till April and I had no problem paying till the contract expired. BUT the contract DOESN’T expire as I was told. It auto renews and I’ve had to pay both gym and personal training thru Covid because everything was closed and now they won’t reimburse my money. Out a lot of money and they don’t care. Buyer beware you are locked in for life!

Bathroom always smells! Takes your breath away. So does the cheap urinal screens. Equipment isn't cleaned routinely.tanning beds sometimes still have the last user's sweat and lotion on them. And who knows if the cleaning solution is safe. There's no bio lable on the bottles indicating what to do if injested or if allergic. If you're looking for a virus they may have it.I can see the same trash in the drink holders on treadmill from day to day. And the 12cents.

Apparently, I'm reading the reviews and like me, cleanliness is the issue. They do not wipe down the equipment like Planet Fitness. Club fitness is unsanitary, other than the trainers working with clients, it's a basic hangout for the staff. I just canceled my PF membership, they said I could reinstate within the month, but they are a 40 minute ride, I'd rather take the ride than continue at this chit-hole.

The positives, good selection of gym equipment and lots of space. The staff are friendly and appear knowledgeable.
The negatives, the gym is very hot and this has been on several occasions. There is no posting of the wifi password. The gym equipment never gets fixed. This includes the treadmills, some incline and some don't work at all. The stationary bikes are missing pedal straps that allow you to work with a push pull system. A few of the bikes do not work at all. The locker room lacks seating.
If these things were fixed it would be a five star gym.

Great open areas to workout, friendly and helpful staff, and best of all their kids area has bounce houses. My 5 year old son use to fuss and whine about having to go to the gym because the kid area was too small and nothing but baby toys. First time we came here I couldn't get him to leave. He absolutely loved it and begged to stay. Now when it's gym day he rushes me out the door. So glad to have a happy boy and get my workout in!!!!! 100⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐s

Been a gym member at many centers over the years and this fitness center falls short of many that I have used.

Pros:
24/7
Nice staff

Cons:
Old equipment
Ab rocker is small and a non-commercial unit
Many treadmills squeak and our loud when in use, Some of the emergency stops are actually duct tape back on to.
Poor wi-fi connection
Trinity TV connection does not work with all but 2 tv and it’s horrible
Unable to listen to TVs
The showers are the worst showers I have ever seen in any fitness center
No steam room
No sauna
No cold drink vending machine.
Overall a dark and unpleasant atmosphere

I regret joining this gym. I join this gym because it was the closest one to home. I have went back to the smaller gym, even though it’s farther away. No the small gym does not have a sauna or steam room but the showers are always clean and you can always connect to the Wi-Fi and you’re able to listen to all the TVs while you work out. Equipment at this smaller gym is much newer and better quality

If you’re looking for a gym on the level of a planet fitness, Ballys, Golds gyms, life fitness, or the nicer YMCAs you are not gonna find it here and in fact you will not find it in Lincolnton.

Hopefully one day someone will recognize the need of a better fitness facility and bring one to town.

Misleading contracts, poor music choices in the gym, inconsistent billing cycles, and no cheap options to cancel contracts.
I agreed to a one year contract for 3 people. After a year of headaches I am told that the contract I signed was for two years and that it would be $300.00 to opt out.

It's a good place very clean and they have showers and bathrooms are clean smell good to and the people are very nice and cold a/c on inside feels great when working out but I will say I don't agree on some things as in price I heard about a one week free trial to go work out there that's what got me interested and I did that but to actually do a thing there it cost $100 up front and $30 a month that is high to me and he said he would cut a deal and drop it to $49 up front and then 30 a month but of I did that free trial I wouldn't get that deal and that I did not like at all I should have still been able to get that deal I seen other places for like $20 a month but it's a good place I like it but the price would have to change for me if I would to start a membership .

Nice facility but good luck ever cancelling your membership, even after the contract has been fulfilled. They do not deal with any part of the membership accounts on site, so you are forced to call a third party billing agency. Cancelled on April 23 but will be billed next monthmont May anyway. Essentially paying for a month of no services because 30 days notice is required prior to cancellation. Apparently this is in the contract, as ridiculous as it sounds. The staff member (a trainer, I'm guessing) at the gym was helpful enough, even though he was not able to remedy the situation. His advice was to just keep coming to the gym, even though we have since moved to another town.

I became a member due to the RAMP program. I went through all of the steps for the program. The first day of the program, I was questioned as though I was being arrested due to my membership information not being in their system. I went through a 40 min process due to the negligence of Joel and this was not the only issue that he was negligent in. I missed the first part of the class and decided not to go in because my excitement and desire was crushed and I just decided that Club Fitness was NOT the place I wanted to give my money to. I went through hell even after following the process for cancellation and Joel even lied and stated that he was a "manager"!!! When I spoke with the real manager "Austin" he was even worse. These kids do not realize that their customer service is the FIRST representation for their gym. I can not comment on the "gym" because I never had the opportunity to use it but the customer service was a enough!!!!! Marshall you chose the wrong place for your RAMP program.

I bought buy one get one membership free in January for my mom and I. In February my mom developed cancer and had to have several operations. She can't work out at this point due to this. She sent club fitness doctors note to see if she could hold her membership until January due to this. They froze both our accounts. I went in and asked them why and they said because it was buy one get one free. So I had to unfreeze it so I can continue to go this year. They will not honor my moms. This was totally disrespectful and after my membership is done here I won't be coming back.
Also I have observed that very few people here clean equipment after use. I have to clean before I work out and after. That is nasty.

This place actually is the best fitness center I have been to. All the free weights you need until your heart is content and if they don't have something, they will order it. Extremely irritated at the difficulty of cancelling my account. When I first signed up, I specifically asked if I was allowed to cancel at any time, and they told me it was absolutely fine. Without my notifying me at all, they signed me into a 2 year contract, so now I'm having to make numerous phone calls trying to actually cancel. I'm moving so this gym membership is basically useless to me now. Make sure you get actual proof that you can cancel!
