I attended club pilates for 3 months and left in August. I have given myself 2 months before posting this review because I needed to be objective. I was very dissapointed whenI left and didn't want my last moments to ruin my good moments there.
First the instructors and the front desk ladies are all amazing. Great customer care. 5 stars for them.
My problem is the area manager Rylee and thus my rating because she is the face of the club. I canceled my membership. First they did not acknowledge my cancelation and I had to call to confirm they received my email more than a week later. Then they offered all possibilities to avoid canceling which I declined.

First red flag once you put your card details in their system you cannot take it down. Fortunately or unfortunately after being unable to take down my card details my card was blocked due to fraud on it. That was the beginning of trouble constant emails of how I needed to pay for membership which I had already canceled because I canceled 2 days late. Constant emails by Rylee with threats about how I would be sent to debt collection for failure to pay a monthly membership which i wasnt attending classes. Even after explaining my card issues the emails kept coming. I offered to pay via other method like cheque cashapp or venmo or whatever but they dont accept any other method only cards. With my experience with my credit card there is no way I was giving them my debit card details. Unfortunately I had traveled and couldn't swipe my card, the reminders with threats were overwhelming. Not a way to treat a customer who has been with you for 3 months.

My reason for cancelation was I couldn't get into the classes I wanted. They had indicated during marketing and signing up that they would be open from 6am only to realize club was open at 6am for 2 days a week. Why couldn't they give full disclosure before people signed in. Bottom line you sign a contract with them they dont deliver what they said they will deliver but because they have the upper hand you suffer and Rylee doesn't care about anything else except the money.

Despite multiple complains on their FB page about people not being able to get into classes because they have too many people they continue to advertise free classes to lure more customers. I would say before you sign up know exactly what you want and ask if its available. If not currently available dont sign up on promises, you will regret. I dont know what the situation is at the moment but by August when I left it was very hard to get into classes.
I enjoyed the classes but left as a frustrated customer. I would never want any sort of interaction with the management of this club.

Angie is a fantastic Pilates instructor. This is the third class I’ve had with her. The stretching was better than I’ve had with other instructors. My muscles were extremely tight before the class, and now they feel reset. It was just what I needed. Highly recommend.

Today was my first time attending a class at Club Pilates in Apex, and I had a fantastic experience! I went for a 30-minute intro class, and my instructor Christine was absolutely wonderful.

As a complete beginner, I had no idea how the equipment worked or what the terms meant, but Christine was incredibly patient, kind, and supportive throughout the session. She took the time to explain everything clearly, helped me with the machines, and made me feel comfortable and confident.

Thanks to her, I’ve already signed up for a 101 class with her and am looking forward to continuing this journey! If you’re looking to improve your strength, mobility, and overall fitness, this is the place to go. Highly recommend Club Pilates Apex — and definitely ask for Christine if you’re just getting started!

Loved the class! HOWEVER BEWARE THEY SRE UNETHICAL. They do bad business and try to charge insane fee . Rylee (area manager) threatened me with legal action for a mistake on their end. All over for a purchase of grip socks. A $16 dollar pair of socks turns into $62. Also BTW, you can buy grip socks at TJMaxx for a reasonable price.

BUYER BEWARE! I absolutely agree with the other 1 star reviewers. I only purchased a monthly 4 class package and had so many issues trying to book classes. Over the last two months, I was only able to successfully book 1 of 4 classes and was waitlisted on the others. Of course for an additional fee you would be able to get 'priority' booking. For this reason, I cancelled my membership.

My final class was booked and scheduled on the last day of my monthly membership window. Imagine my surprise when I showed up for my final class and was told that since I cancelled my membership, my class was deleted and given to someone on the waitlist!!! I was cancelled out of the system 1 day BEFORE my membership window ended. This is a class that was scheduled and paid for. I have never encountered such an unapologetically misleading business practice and model. You will pay for a certain number of classes per month, BUT there is no guarantee you will be able to schedule them and they will not issue any refunds. I will now bring my business somewhere where the customer is treated well and with respect.

Never done Pilates before? Don’t worry, I hadn’t either, and from day one I felt completely comfortable here. In just 3 months my coordination, mental health, and strength have all improved. I’ve gone from 0 push-ups to almost 10! The instructors (special shout-out to Lucy and Jamison) are welcoming, encouraging, and so knowledgeable. My only “complaint” is that classes fill up fast… but with results like this, I get why!

Today was my first 8am class. I have mobility issues and moving first thing in the morning is sometimes difficult. This morning was no exception and I almost didn’t show. I am so glad I did! I’ve only taken one previous class with Chelsie but she remembered me and my situation. I was able to do most of the movements and the ones that I couldn’t, she made sure that she found a way to revise it to make it more manageable. Pilates has given me so much relief and each class I take brings me closer to my health goal.

Love all the instructors but Amy and Jamison are my favorites. I am a very experienced gym rat but brand new to pilates - so I was a bit intimidated at first. However the instructors are all really great at cueing and explaining even the smallest nuances that help you with your workout. I am so happy to have joined! I can feel a difference in my body already. Also most of the front desk people are super nice and they remember your name which makes you feel pretty good. :)

My only complaint mirrors the rest of the complaints I see - getting into classes if you don't have the unlimited plan is like the Hunger Games. Best of luck to you if you are anywhere past #3 on the waitlist.

To remedy this, I inquired about upgrading to the unlimited plan - it was about a week/10 days past my last bill date, so I had just paid for the month. As it was explained to me, if I were to upgrade at that moment, I'd be charged *again* for that month - no prorating (so I'd be paying for the month twice essentially). Makes zero sense! I'm only one person/body - why would I be charged twice for the same month and not just the difference of the upgrade? It actually discouraged me from upgrading for now - I might later on in the year, we'll see.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Club Pilates. I signed up for the 8-class-per-month membership, but due to the constant lack of class availability and being placed on the waitlist, I was never able to book all the classes I paid for. The classes are consistently overbooked, and they clearly do not care about maintaining a healthy customer-to-class availability ratio.

It feels like their only priority is getting people to sign contracts, regardless of whether members will actually be able to use the service. When signing up, everything is sweet and polished — but they completely fail to disclose how limited class availability actually is.

Within three days of signing up, I requested to cancel the membership — well within the agreement window. However, the branch manager called and convinced me to stay, assuring me I could try it for a month. I made it very clear that if it didn’t work out, I would want help canceling. She never gave a straight answer, only said she would call back in a month.

After genuinely trying the membership for a month and still being unable to book classes, I reached out to cancel. The same manager now claimed she never agreed to help with cancellation. I followed up with multiple emails explaining my understanding of our conversation, but she refused to assist.

When I again raised the issue due to the ongoing class unavailability, I was asked to send an email for early termination. However, the $100 termination fee was never mentioned during our call. Only after I submitted the request did I receive an email referring to this fee, along with a copy of the contract.

This entire experience has been deeply frustrating. There is a total lack of accountability, transparency, and care for customers. Club Pilates locked me into a membership I couldn’t fully use, refused to acknowledge verbal agreements, and hid key information until it was too late. I no longer want anything to do with their facility or services, and this experience has left me distrustful of corporate businesses that operate with such disregard for their members.

I have been coming to Club Pilates for about 2 months now! It is great for beginners because the instructors will explain a lot (there are different level classes too). All of the employees (instructors and front desk staff) are so sweet and friendly. It is easy to get off the waitlist for classes as long as you book ahead! I really love coming here!!!

I signed up for Club Pilates Apex in May 2024, expecting to attend 8 classes per month as advertised. From the beginning, I was unable to book a single class—every one was full, and I was placed on multiple waitlists but never admitted. I spent weeks trying to schedule, contacted the studio multiple times, and finally requested cancellation.

Despite never being granted access to the service I paid for, Club Pilates refused to issue a refund and insisted on enforcing a $100 early termination fee. They even threatened late fees and third-party collections.

Worse, I was repeatedly gaslighted—made to feel like I was at fault for not managing their flawed booking system. I expressed that I was pregnant and urgently needed reliable access to fitness classes, but they showed no flexibility or empathy.

This is not a case of buyer’s remorse—it’s a case of a business taking money for a service they cannot deliver, then deflecting responsibility back onto the customer. Based on my experience and the number of similar complaints online, it’s clear that this
overbooking issue is a pattern, not an exception.

I do not recommend this location or any. I have never before encountered this level of disregard for customer experience, lack of accountability, and manipulation. Being gaslighted into believing I was at fault—despite clear evidence that I followed every instruction and made multiple good-faith efforts to resolve the issue—was incredibly frustrating and disheartening.

I’ve been coming to Club Pilates in Apex for over a month and I am loving it! The instructors are super knowledgeable and supportive no matter of your level- I am an extra clumsy beginner. To top it off I lost 3 pounds in the first month so I am thrilled to see the benefits after a few months of classes. I recommend with all my heart this studio to anyone!
