I LOVE ALL of the instructors and classes!
But most recently Stacey's Reformer Flow and Michelle's Center + Balance were 2 amazing classes that I took over the weekend.
Stacey is so good at cuing as we go through class. Many times I have not done a particular movement before and Stacey's instructions are always loud and very clear which I so appreciate.
Michelle's center + balance felt so good today. Leaving her class, I feel ready to take on the week ahead!

I have joined club pilates Strawberry hills for 6+ months now and I am so happy! I love the studio. It is a small studio with 12 reformers if I am not mistaken. The classes vary and give you great options. The instructors are very knowledgeable and make the classes fun and motivating! They always help when a modification is needed. I have recently taken classes with Ro and I love her classes! She is fantastic and so is Stacey! Alise is an amazing instructor as well; especially for your first classes. She really teaches you how to do the exercises correctly without getting hurt. If you have doubts about Pilates don't! This location is fantastic. Just book an intro class. You will be happy you did!

I chose Club Pilates - Strawberry Hill because it is on my route to and from work and I am incredibly happy that I made the commitment! All the instructors are very friendly, professional, and engaged. Initially, I did not like the scheduling process BUT once I adapted, it all makes sense. The scheduling process offers flexibility, and it holds me accountable for my weekly fitness goals. I joined last week and have enjoyed my experience. While I was worried about waitlist, I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how quickly numbers shift and spots become open. I’m a mat pilates instructor and have practiced reformer consistently for 5 years - I’ve been happy with the instructors and comfortable not receiving much attention. I’m able to make more difficult for myself if desiring more challenge. Staff (Millie) and instructors have been warm and inclusive.

I absolutely love coming here. Club Pilates classes are probably the only workouts I have ever looked forward to and enjoy. They offer a variety of classes, some with more weights involved, barre inspired, TRX and cardio. The instructors check your form and help you adjust as needed, they also offer options depending on your experience level to make it easier for some and a tougher workout for others that have been there longer. Could not recommend club Pilates more and all of the ladies at strawberry hill are fantastic!

The instructors, the equipment and overall facility are top notch. Great variety of class options and times that fit my hybrid work schedule. It did take time to find the classes that were best for me, but now I’m in there 3x week. Love the playlists ❤️. Only critique is I wish the music was louder, but then it’d be harder to hear the queues. Which I LOVE getting the reminders about my form.

I have been going to Club Pilates for over a year now and I thoroughly enjoy it. My favorite classes are Cardio Sculpt with Kelcey and Stacey, and the Reformer Flow 1.5 that includes Barre with Ivy. The CP FIT class offered on Saturdays is a great workout, too! It's typically easy to get in a class, the studio always is clean and the instructors take time to correct your form in a constructive way that's incredibly helpful. I highly recommend Club Pilates if you're looking to get into reformer pilates!

I started Pilates almost two years ago. I love the Strawberry hill location. There is a variety of instructors and many really focus on proper technique which is really important to me. Joining Club Pilates Strawberry Hill is the best decision I have made for myself, not only for my body strength but for my mind. The instructors are excellent. Each instructor creates their own workout. No class is ever the same, which challenges all parts of your body. Modifications up or down are strongly encouraged so each class member can adjust to how he or she is feeling that day. The instructors are fun, energetic, and clearly love to teach.

Club Pilates has been the exercise program I have wanted. Going 3 times a week has improved my balance, my shape, my strength and maybe my posture. Mostly I attend Stacie’s and Alyse’s classes. Both are skilled and work hard to make sure we all are doing things right so goals can be met. It’s a great workout with lots of class choices to accommodate every desired level of work. CP at Strawberry Hill is my go-to for a workout routine. I love the ease of scheduling/rescheduling and the class format. The instructors are very good and always ask if someone needs a little modification, which I do right now. I can still do the class but limited in a few motions - they help me modify. I have taken over 400 classes now and look forward to them all. I feel so much better after every class and miss them when I am away. Great job. Keep it up, but don't get too busy. Like the add on of recent classes.

I have been attending classes at both the Strawberry Hill and Promenade location since February 2024. I started with an 8 class a month in July 2023, but surprisingly realized I wanted to attend more classes during the week. The unlimited is fantastic way to manage that. The instructors are knowledgeable and assist with movements throughout the class which is beneficial when you have specific issues, which I do. I am so thankful for the instruction I have received from all of the instructors at Club Pilates. In all my years of trying to find an exercise program that fits my needs, Club Pilates has been the best. I recommend this program to anyone who needs core strength and stretching (which is everyone!)

Bought the unlimited membership (shared between Strawberry Hill and Promenade locations) and there are so many class offerings at different times of day. Instructors are awesome and the 1.0 flow classes/instructors are great for beginners like me. Just added 1.5 to my schedule and feel like the 1.0 instructors have prepared me for diving into the 1.5/2.0 classes. Lisa, the manager of both sites is super attentive and the ladies at the front desk are helpful if you need hands-on help with using the app.

Great facility and workout, but very rude, greedy management.
I went for the introductory class, led by the General Manager, Lisa. During, I mentioned that I had GymPass. As the we were wrapping up the session, she told the other two participants "You did great! You just need to join!" and then turned to me and said, "You just need to go away." This is an exact quote that I have been replaying in my head for the past few weeks.
Since I really enjoyed reformer Pilates, I decided to take a class with a different instructor. Again, I enjoyed the workout, but the instructor was so low energy -- not in a zen way, but in a I-don't-want-to-be-here way.
Okay, so two strikes... I wanted to give it one more chance, so I booked another class with a different instructor. The day before, I got a note that they had cancelled me, and the location disappeared from the GymPass app.
So, it seems they were fine passively taking money from GymPass, until someone actually tried to use it? While a different scenario from the other bad reviews, it seems in line with the feedback on their exploitative business practices.
Long story, short... definitely check out Club Pilates -- just NOT Strawberry Hill or South Providence.
UPDATE: I've gone to both club Pilates Dilworth and Matthews and loved them both. 100% a workout worth trying.
UPDATE #2/ REPLY TO GM - you would, because you DID say that. Not inaccurate...however, I suppose I should expect you to blame the reviewer; it is completely in character. If you look at the majority of my other reviews, they are generally positive. How would I benefit from fabricating a situation?

Good gracious, where do I start? Club Pilates Strawberry Hill is the best, great, work out community, Pilates teachers are great, the classes are amazing and you are challenging yourself, not competing with others.
Here is my story… two weeks ago I could not stand on one leg at a time. This was unacceptable and occurred after getting out of shape. I had a traumatic brain injury in October ‘21 and was. just basically deconditioned, to say the least.
I came in and did an intro class with a friend who begged me to come with her.
Kelcey led the intro class. It was phenomenal! The next morning I felt incredible, so, I came that day and the next day and the next day. I did not take a day off until day five or six.
This place is a gift from God. It has been years since I have felt this strong, and able to walk down steps without holding on and worrying. (the accident affected that).
Cut to today, two weeks later. I signed up for an open class -didn’t pay two bit of attention that it was a 1.5 level up. The teacher was Pax she did a great job of making us laugh while we went through very challenging exercises. I had a goal of doing this level class by Christmas. I accidentally enrolled in it by not paying attention to what I was signing up for, but just craving the movement and stretch that has made me feel more alive than I have in years. Bonus, I made it through the 1.5 and was rather proud of my performance.
All this to say once you start feeling your body, you will want to come again and again. How did I wait so long to treat my body to this!?

My life has changed since committing to Club Pilates. The instructors at Strawberry Hill are amazing and I feel I have my own personal trainer with all the clear directions and consistency. I joined about six weeks ago after years of my sister encouraging me to do Pilates because at our age (60's), if you aren't building your core strength, you are rapidly losing it. Every week, I discover new muscles and can feel a difference in my ease of movement, balance and overall body awareness. Each class is different. I never get bored. Strawberry Hill is amazing - the teachers are so knowledgeable, each with their own style and no class is ever the same. There are only 12 people in each class and everyone goes at their own pace. I can absolutely feel the difference when I miss a week due to travel and cannot wait to get back into a class when I get home. The instructors are knowledgeable and kind, always willing to work with and accommodate my personal challenges to keep me safe while continuing my growth!
I’m 46 and have been attending 1-3 classes per week for 7 months. I was in the worst shape of my life when i walked into the studio after so little exercise - and so much stress - during the 2 years the wold went on hold!
I have almost no inflammation now, less pain in my reconstructed knee, and significantly less pain in my back and hips!
I love the range of student I see in my classes, from the older gentleman who walks in with a cane - but loves class, students working on weight loss, the group of 60/70+ ladies who clearly have formed a beautiful community, women in the 20/30/40’s who are fit but looking to really take care of their bodies… absolutely every type of body and fitness level!

CP- strawberry hill is a great place to practice Pilates - I have learned so much since I joined before Covid- the studio is very clean- the instructors are great and they all bring something different to your practice- the variety of classes allows you to mix up your routine.

I really hope the corporate owners read my review so they can work to improve their business. Firstly, the studio is just beautiful. They have good equipment and the vibe is zen.
But their pricing model and cancellation policies are too restrictive. They only offer 8 classes or unlimited a month. I was hoping for 6 classes a month or to buy a package because of my schedule. They don't offer packages and they said when they do, you usually have to use them up in 2 weeks(??). Additionally the drop in classes are expensive. It's $35 per class--thats the highest I've ever seen.
They also have a strict cancellation policy when you book a class. With all these rules I decided to go with another studio.

Very poor customer service - difficult to sign up for a membership, even more difficult to cancel. You’re bound to be charged again after cancelling despite taking every possible step to cancel within the allotted timeframe, keeping the cancellation confirmation, and confirming the cancellation was received 3 times. Classes are fine, not much of a workout though. Won’t be back. Ever.

The entire staff at Club Pilates-Strawberry Hill location are courtesy, friendly & most importantly professional. I have been a member since 2021- taking 4 classes each week. The front desk staff are friendly. The instructions are knowledgeable & professional. Thank you Club Pilates Strawberry Hill for being such a positive place for me to learn & practice Pilates!

I love this studio! The instructors and staff are amazing and it has been a game changer for me personally. They offer a lot of great options for classes, I especially like the Cardio Sculpt and Control class and have noticed a difference in my body since adding these classes to my routine.

BEWARE there is a reason this business has so many negative reviews. This uncaring greedy manager/ owner is more concerned with making a buck than doing right by customers. I was injured (SI/ back) in one of their classes my first week and still had to pay for the entire month $199, they paused it for the next month even though they initially did not want to while I was in physical therapy and chiropractor for treatment. They rebilled me another $199 so I tried one class and only made it through half the class due to reinjuring myself. My dr told me pilates is going to be too much strain for the next few months. They have refused to refund my money and are insisting I pay an additional $199 for next month or pay another $100 for early termination! So they essentially feel it is good business to charge someone who was injured in one of their classes and unable to return $199 for half a class, plus an extra $100 in addition to the $199 paid for a few times before I was injured the first month. I was a member of another club pilates before moving here and have been with numerous other studios long term over the past 15 years and never have I encountered someone like this. The ironic thing about all this is, if she would have handled this professionally instead of gouging me from the beginning, I would likely have been a member for many years after I fully rehabbed my injury and she would have made exponentially more $ from me.

Honestly I’ve delayed this review for weeks. Part of me feels badly for posting this negative content as the instructors and front desk staff are lovely and I feel awful for lumping them in with the catastrophic wreck that is their management. But to save time, stress and frustration to all of you kind, wonderful humans who are looking to practice the wonderful world of Pilates DO NOT GO TO THE STRAWBERRY HILL LOCATION. There are many other studios in the area.. dilworth has opened a Club Pilates studio and everyone I’ve interacted with at this location is AMAZING. Strawberry hill will not let me out of my membership to transfer to dilworth.. I’ve constantly heard rhetoric that “there is no timeline” and “both studio owners need to approve it”… well it has been sitting with strawberry hill studio owner for weeks with the general manager being anything but helpful…I was a founding member at the Club Pilates in Pittsburgh, and was thrilled to see CP in Charlotte.. with the hope this would make my big move and transition just a bit easier… WELL this studios leadership team has brought me close to ending my involvement altogether with Club Pilates which is so heartbreaking. My family has urged me to go to corporate on many occasions, this will likely be my next step if this is not resolved my end of week. Pilates is supposed to be healing! Strawberry Hill has lost many members to dilworth for very obvious, notable reasons… stay clear!

My daughter and I had an initial visit scheduled at 11:30. I pulled into the parking lot at 11:27. Walked in. Told them my daughter was literally 30 seconds behind me they said they were locking the doors and she couldn’t come in. They said they won’t let anyone in after 11:30. They offered to reschedule but who wants to waste another Saturday afternoon. When I made it back to my car, it was 11:31. Which means they turned my daughter away at exactly 11;30. I’m disappointed and upset. If they want someone to arrive early, just say so. They lost potential customers.

I'm trying to find out who to reach about a refund I went to a free class wanted to join but due to health issues I couldn't work so I feel behind on my bills and spoke to someone letting them know I'll let them know when I'm ready and they took 219.00 saying I owe and I've never gone there again how is this possible to aquire an invoice never stepping foot again in this establishment? Ppl be careful with this company! The manager refuses to call me and just sends email no customer care at all.

The management is highly lacking in integrity and good business practices and threatened me with police action because I told her I would post a poor review. This was a less than stellar customer experience and they don’t care to make improvements.
The instructors are great and Pilates is fun. It’s unfortunate that this studio is managed so poorly.
