Pilates with Renee is great! She really gives great instructions on how you should do each exercise and also modifications to accommodate all of us. . Her classes are always fun.On 7/30 for her Flow I class, I had injured my neck before class so she made a special trip to my reformer to make sure I made the right accommodation for me at this time and gave me suggestions on how to take care not to re-injure it. It’s her special care that makes a difference for me.

I have been to multiple studios and I’ve got to give Cecilia a huge shoutout! I had her for the first time and she was very warm and friendly, had a bright smile on her face even though it was 6am! She explained and directed us with so much detail, that it made class run so smoothly. She made corrections privately and low-voiced to ensure everyone else was focused. I also loved how organized she was and it felt like she had actually planned our class beforehand. I really appreciated the transitions, she was very intentional with every move we made. She is a phenomenal instructor and I can’t wait to have her again!!

Renee is the best! She taught my intro class and after trying out many classes I’ve found that her CP FIT 2.0 is an excellent workout and a fun time! I really appreciate her energy and positive reinforcement while I’m sweating my butt off. I also really enjoy Rebecca’s Tuesday Reformer Flow 1.5 and Control 1.5. Rebecca keeps the class fun and relaxed while also giving you an excellent full body work out. Both instructors are the best and I sign up for their classes every week. I feel so much stronger and confident after almost 1 year of Pilates. Love the atmosphere at North Raleigh Club Pilates!

Super fun as well as very therapeutic for my low back. Sadly, the club is terribly overbooked. They need to add space. They just created a stretch lab adjacent to the Pilates studio. It would have made more sense to expand the Pilates studio. Also, when I updated my credit card, instead of asking me for my new card (after with being a member since the day they opened with the same card) they cancelled my account and all of my reservations. Took a month to reschedule due to back up. Instructors are awesome not so keen on management and difficulty booking classes

So many great instructors but taking Cat Dangler’s classes just brings everything together. Classes are fun, hard and honestly kind of meditative because of the focus on breathing and mindfulness of body positioning. Everyone is always kind and I had no problems freezing my account for surgery. The instructors are all different and keep the classes fun, while also being helpful in making sure form is good. I really enjoy the classes I’ve taken with Cat, Colleen, Janet, Holly, Sarah, Jessie, Lucy and Al. My main studio is the North Raleigh location, and I’ve also been to the Wake Forest location. PROS:
- small groups: everybody helps everybody. Even if you don’t know each other.
- The instructors guide you, so you are not alone with a bunch of equipment like in a gym. Instructors correct your posture/exercise w/ hands on. They also give verbal clues when they see something done wrong. The more you attend the classes, the more you will understand the verbal clues.
- There are a few studios nearby: near Trader Joe’s/Wegmans. Near Sprouts and one opening in Wake Forest. They are all within 10 minutes distance if you live in North Raleigh! YAY!
- The price is not that bad for what you get. Good instructors, great atmosphere, good results (with a health diet) if you go CONSISTENTLY.

CONS:
- You need to book FAR in advance. The best instructors fill up fast. Especially Renee and Cathy.
- The only instructors that seems to give a proper FULL body workout are Colleen, Cathy and Renee. Remember: your muscles need a little bit of a challenge and the challenge is not that bad at Pilates with these 3 instructors but you need to try. You will see that in a few weeks you can advance little by little.
- Limited classes. Somedays the studio opens at 9am... :(
- The best instructors don't teach every day.
- Because instructors are different, it seems you don't work your muscles effectively. It can also cause health problems if you work a group of muscles and not others. The Reformer Flow says you work your full body, but it is kind of 'meh'. You work your core and abs just as you would in any other place. But legs and arms in general dont follow a pattern and it can cause health issues.
- Not a CON but pay attention: they will charge your credit card if you miss or cancel a class within less a than 24 hours.
- Rebecca: Bless her. She's a brand new instructor and with it comes impatience. She gets annoyed very easily with those who struggle in her class. Try another instructor. You don't want that!

My fav. instructors:
- Colleen-North Raleigh. At first, I hated her class because I felt lost but after a few weeks I felt she is the one that gives a variety of exercises to work many muscles in your body
- Cathy: will push the group in a good way. She's awesome! I think she is THE MOST knowledgeable instructor in the whole club Pilates studios.
I took 3x private classes with her called Basic Something. She gave me so much insight about the way we do things at Pilates like how you position your legs in table top, how to find your neutral spine, how to imprint. If you are serious I HIGHLY recommend the basic private intro with Cathy.
- Renee: She is the most motivated instructor you can get ❤️, she knows everybody by name, and she also has the best exercises ever! She is adorable and sweet. Hard to explain. You need to attend one of her classes. Book in advance and you won’t regret!
- Holly is also good! But my top 3 are Renee, Colleen and Cathy. :)

Thanks to Pilates I can feel my body stronger and asking for more intense exercises so I just became a member of O2 Fitness and love their BodyPump and BodyCombat classes. When you get older you need strength training.

I love Janet! Her sense of humor, up beat personality, and expertise makes for a great Pilates work out! Colleen is wonderful! I love her instructions and variety of moves.
Rebecca is freaking amazing! 🤩 I love her energy, her spunk, and she demonstrates the moves which makes it much easier to follow. Rebecca is also very personal (remembers my name) and pays attention to details. I was nervous at first taking a level 2 class but Rebecca made me push myself, which I need and I am grateful for her. 🤗🙌🏼
Pilates has changed my strength, mindset, and I feel better (sometimes sore lol) after each workout!
I have just recently started taking Renee’s cardio class… it is so much fun! I am now addicted to her and the class! Renee is so motivational! She will get you moving and feeling great. She always wears a smile with positive flowing energy the whole time!

I have been coming here for years.. I work out 3-4 days a week here and I have a reformer of my own at home.. BUT…. I love the classes!
