Great place to attend yoga class. This is located in Cornelius. It is very peaceful. And the owner/teacher Amy is a great teacher. When I am done with class, I feel calm and relaxed. The studio is a large 1 room with Yoga symbols and soothing colors on the wall. Also, what I like is that the classes appeal to many age groups, young, old, in the middle. I also like that the teachers make it known, it's not about being in the perfect pose. It's about how you feel in your practice. The classes are varied in style and level. If you want a calm, soothing yoga experience, this is the place to be. Unique classes such as Yoga Nidra are offered. I would highly reccommend this place.

I love going to Amy's classes. She has such a positive, caring spirit and she truly listens to any body hurts you may have. During class she will help you optimize our your positions. I always leave her classes feeling rejuvenated.

Amy Schneider is wonderful spirit and an amazing yoga instructor! She owns Community Yoga located in the LKN area between Cornelius and Davidson. I’ve called this little studio home for more than 15 years. I regularly practice Ashtanga inspired as well as other challenging flow classes. I’ve also enjoyed a variety of gentle yoga classes over the years. Making a habit of trying other studios during travel, I learned how lucky we are to have this authentic studio right here at home!

This yoga studio is one where you feel like you belong and are meant to be there for each class, workshop, or event. It is a place where come
And leave not only with a deep sense of gratitude but also a sense of feeling connected and extremely peaceful as well.

I found this Studio when we bought a 2nd place in Davidson. So glad I did.

And now during the pandemic, I have been able to exercise in the comfort of my own home in Rochester, NY via Zoom classes. What a godsend!

All are welcome to Zoom. Classes are $10 and a complete schedule can be found on the company website.

I've been going to Community Yoga 5 or 6 years. I started when I was having some health issues and stayed because it is such a warm and welcoming place. Walking into class is like coming home.

Community Yoga has been my studio for over 15 years and it's changed my life! Amy as well as the other instructors are always welcoming and helpful. I've brought a number of people with me to introduce to yoga and they always comment how inviting and invigorating the classes are. If you are looking to try yoga or are a long time yogie - Community Yoga is the place to practice.

My favorite yoga teacher of all time, Amy Schneider, is the owner and main teacher at the studio. It’s a warm and welcoming environment, room for every body, and the price is right. You can borrow a mat free of charge and she has all yoga accoutrements in a dimly lit peaceful studio. There’s really no reason to go anywhere else in the Davidson area for REAL yoga.

Where do I even begin. I have been a student of Ms.Amy for roughly 5 years now 4 of them where in high school. She literally is the most caring attentive and respectful person I have ever met in my life. She only cares about helping people. I know a lot of people say that but she doesn't say it she does it. If you are under her tutelage, you will progress far beyond what you could ever imagine. If you are a few years in on your journey you will still learn so much. She still corrects my moves every time I'm in yoga :)

This is one of the best yoga studios around, especially if you like your yoga small, community-oriented and non-gimicky. Simple classes, consistently-run with warm and compassionate teachers.

I recently left the area after 10 years and can't find anything like this in my new home. Amy brings warmth, compassion, community, humility and love to her practise and this shines through her classes and her teachers. As other studios come and go, she has stood the test of time and that's testament itself!

I discovered Amy Scneider with Community Yoga 9 years ago while pregnant with my 3rd child and have been a follower since. I love the welcoming spirit and feeling of community Amy has created within her yoga studio. Amy is one of the best yoga instructors I have had the pleasure of practicing with!
