Back in the mid 80s I had to register for classes in this building and my first party at A&T was a pool party at the auditorium. Iβve watched games, attended a speech by the nation of Islam and many concerts for GHOE. I was even there for the basketball brawl between Central and A&T. Great arena. Lots of great memories. Me and the grandkids are gonna make some more memories. Aggie pride!

I loved the entertainment, especially at Half Time; drumline, etc. The students and A&T staff, alumni, etc. were so enthusiastic. I do think that the cheerleaders should be a bit more clothed and less raunchy in their routines. They are beautiful young women but their advisor could work on them presenting themselves in a bit more classy fashion.
Although I enjoyed the spirit and enthusiasm, I didn't feel completely safe. There appeared to be only one way out from the lower level up the stairs.
The gym should be upgraded to compete with some of the bigger universities since it's said to be the number one HBCU in the country.
Parking close to the facility is non existent and they should have at least three shuttle buses to take spectators, who can't walk that far, to the venue.
Overall, I enjoyed the game against HPU
but I had the feeling of being in a High School gym.

Good for a gym with wooden seating on the upper level. BUT, really a safety hazard and has many restrictions when it comes to seating options. It may be OK for students & facilities, but don't hold public events in that building. MAIN PROBLEM - NO handrails for support while WALKING up the stairs. I have knee concerns, but all other lower seating was taken. I paid my $40 admissions just like everyone else. BEAUTIFUL CAMPUS, really FIX OLD CORBETT, especially with the safety. OR restrict your students to the upper level! Great TD Jakes event!
