The classes are good, but you can literally never get into any after paying for them. Other people register for classes and then decide if they will go like 24 hours in advance, so most people are always operating on the waitlist. It is an absolutely horrible method. Calling the management does nothing to help. Choose anywhere else.
Update: even after it flooded and is closed, corporate won’t even refund the classes you have already bought. This company is one of the singular worst in terms of patron experience and service that I have ever encountered.

I absolutely love this studio! I've never been the yoga gal until coming to a class on a whim, then I quickly switched over and joined their membership. My favorite teacher is Emma, but all of the instructors are incredible. Appreciate this place and their lovely staff so much :)

I’ve only been practicing at CPY for about a month but it has changed my life! The yoga sculpt classes are the perfect mix of strength and mindfulness and I leave feeling a million times better. Shoutout to Jenny and Martha for always bringing the energy and making each class an amazing experience. Highly recommend to anyone looking to both get a great workout in and find an amazing community!!

I was looking for a yoga studio, and CPY Chapel Hill has been the perfect fit. The studio is always clean and instructors are always on time. I have been loving Martha S sculpt classes because she only plays rap and it really gets me into the workout vibe! Grace G C2 classes are so grounding! Gina S always brings the intensity and has great tunes too. Only thing that bothers me is students being rude and talking over the instructor, but that is no fault of CPY!

If you are looking for a supportive, loving community that celebrates every victory with you, then look no further. Whatever your fitness goals are, the team at CorePower Chapel Hill is with you every step of the way, and I am SO grateful to have found this studio. Shoutout to Emma, one of my favorite teachers, who never fails to deliver a kickass workout and a really thoughtful intention at the beginning of each class.

There truly is no place like CPY Chapel Hill. I have been practicing here for over a year and have found the best community and best instructors. Here you will find the perfect balance of relaxation, support, exercise, and challenges both physical and mental. With the different types of classes offered there is something for everyone, every day of the week, from an easy flow, to trying new balance postures, to strength classes. All of the instructors are incredibly talented, kind, and will welcome you with a smile on their face. Coming to class is always the highlight of my day, especially if it is a C2 with Steve! I even became a member of the Studio Experience Team (which I highly recommend doing) to help take care of the place that takes such good care of me! CPY CH is the best!!!

The classes are alright, however the instructors have really gone downhill. The classes are all very repetitive with little to no variety. My friend and I took a class with Ava M and it was quite possibly the worst yoga class we have ever taken. She kept getting frustrated and seemed annoyed to be there teaching. Clearly she was young and inexperienced but man the quality of teaching has really gone downhill.

I recently switched my hot yoga practice over to CorePower because they offer way more class times and instructors, and I love it! I especially enjoy their yoga sculpt classes. Dhyana is wonderful - she’s a powerhouse but is also positive, encouraging, and helpful in suggesting modifications if anyone is struggling with a movement. I consistently feel great after attending her classes.

I was 2 minutes late and the doors were locked. No one is at the front desk to let me in. Seems like a bad business practice for those of us rushing like crazy to make a class and are a minute or two late. Would never go back, complete waste of time.

My husband and I have gone to a few of Steve’s classes and they are so much fun and a great workout! We appreciate that he always has a thoughtful flow, theme, music and peak pose. His teaching cadence is very calm and patient. Highly recommend for a good sweat! :) thanks for the great classes, Steve!

The google address does not bring directly to this studio. I went to this location for the first time today and when I was near GUGLHUPF bakery! Though I love that bakery but it was not what I was looking for this morning. So, whoever manages the address (1800 e Franklin st, #5, chapel hill) - pls get this updated!!

Excellent studio!
I have been a CorePower vet for ~4 years now, though I am new to this location (about 6 weeks now).
Everything is clean and well-maintained. The teachers and staff are excellent.
The classes are challenging and satisfying.
I feel myself growing and developing in my practice each and every time I take to my mat for class.
I recommend a membership to this location most highly!

I started going to CorePower in Chapel Hill last year shortly after they reopened from COVID. This studio had exactly the kind of yoga workout I was looking for! I like my vinyasa flows to be a bit more intense and this works for me. I also started doing their sculpt classes in order to add some more cardio into my routine. I can definitely feel my body getting stronger.
I love Frannie and the team!
The class schedule changes depending on when the college students are in town, but I’ve always been able to find something to fit into my schedule!

The studio seems to have shifted focus to HIT training instead of yoga. There is no variation in any of their classes the C2 is intense and the sculpt is intense and those are the only 2 classes they have regularly. They have only one C1 class a week.
This studio has such an important role in the community as a yoga studio with some core strength building. If it starts making push-ups and fire hydrant kicks a regular part of its flows little separates it from a regular gym.
Been an intermittent member for a while (due to Covid). The teachers are nice and the facilities are always really clean.
