The workout has me spent every time. Thankfully they allow you a few minutes of rest in between workout cycles. If a workout is too advanced for you they will adjust to your needs, and as you get stronger you can try the more advanced forms. If you can jog for 20 minutes, you can do Asheboro CrossFit. The instructors are kind and will work with you, Its a high intensity workout workout so be prepared. However its always a friendly and relaxed vibe, The most important thing is Stick with it. DONT GIVE UP👍

Great environment! People are supportive there and the coaches always give a modified version of the exercises if you need them. They also take the time to make sure you are doing the exercises properly. My 9 year old son loves the kids class!

My best friend has been raving about this place so I finally agreed to go with her to one of the community WOD. I was so nervous walking into the gym. I strength train but CrossFit has always intimidated me. This experience was the complete opposite. The trainers were friendly, supportive, and extremely approachable. The people working out were nice and encouraging. Everyone was breathing heavy at the end of the workout and there was a sense of pride, excitement, and camaraderie. I’ve been in and out of gyms for ten+ years and in one workout, I felt more motivated by strangers than I ever have by anyone else to go to the next level with my health at CrossFit Asheboro. Everyone stayed a little while just talking afterwards and several people gave me high fives and cheers for completing my first workout. The trainers who aren’t leading the class are working out with you and offer you support and encouragement. Workouts are scaled so everyone can access them and get a great workout. If you’ve hit a road block and want a community atmosphere, this is the place for you. A warm up, 25-35 minute high intensity workout, and then a cool down stretch is waiting for you :)

As someone new to CrossFit, I came in with a lot of hesitation. Between old injuries and years of limited movement after my first baby, I was nervous. As soon I walked in the door, all of those fears were squashed.

There were people at all levels - some who were just like me and some who were further along in their fitness journey, but everyone was encouraging.

It was inspiring to see people of all ages and sizes pushing themselves at their own pace, and it made me feel like I belonged right alongside them.

By the end of the workout, I was surprised at how proud I felt. Tired but proud! I pushed myself further than I thought I was capable of—definitely more than I would’ve done if I were working out alone at home.

The coach was incredibly supportive, helping me modify movements to accommodate my fitness level and previous injuries without making me feel self-conscious.

She explained each movement and exercise, and the workouts are on the screen if you forget.

Even though I knew little about each exercise, I received enough personal instruction and feedback to feel comfortable and safe to keep up.

The facilities are clean, spacious, and well-organized, and booking classes is easy. Parking is a breeze, too, which is always a plus!

The app has videos attached to the workout, so you can prepare for sets ahead of time as well.

The workout was well laid out and explained. They make sure everyone is involved and understands the workout. Very inviting and encouraging atmosphere. Family friendly as well.
Safety is highlighted so they encourage consistency with each workout being scalable to fit your level of fitness and strength. Allowing you to push yourself as you improve.

Today’s CrossFit class was an awesome experience! From the moment I walked in, the energy in the room was uplifting , and the supportive atmosphere was immediately apparent. Rebecca (coach) was knowledgeable, motivating, and attentive, offering modifications and guidance to ensure everyone could participate safely and effectively.

The workout itself was a perfect mix of strength, cardio, and skill-building, with a variety of exercises that kept things interesting and challenging. It pushed me out of my comfort zone in the best way possible, and I felt a real sense of accomplishment by the end of the session.

What stood out most was the sense of community. Whether you’re new to fitness or an experienced athlete, CrossFit is a fantastic way to push your limits, meet great people, and improve both physically and mentally. Highly recommend giving it a try!

My boyfriend and I recently moved to Asheboro in November of 2023, I have been a member of CrossFit with other gyms in my hometown and wanted to try CFA. Dave and I were welcomed with open arms, the gym is always encouraging and motivating when we are there! Amazing gym! I encourage everyone to try the free trial class to try it for yourself. I just finished my third week (4 classes per week) and I can honestly say each coach has the knowledge and earned the position to be a trainer.

I do not know the history/or people of this gym but I did read the other reviews before my first class and sadly, the reviews almost discouraged me from trying the gym. What a loss it would've been on my part.

This place used to be a family. Good people, a safe space for those who had the passion for crossfit and weightlifting. The head coach(not the owner who took over) was the biggest part of this gym, he poured his blood sweat and tears into the programming he provided us members. He spent hours on end each week writing it out, percentages for the weightlifting, modifications, and even things to do depending on how you felt that day. He went as far as adding extra credit work after class to help with technique and strength. Also included accessories. Head coach had a heart of pure gold and is the most knowledgeable individual I've met in my years of fitness. He gave people faith in themselves. I was one of them. Recently the owner took the head coaches programming and replaced it with poorly structured templates, as which alot of members had an issue with. This past week the owner fired the head coach for not bringing new ideas to the gym, which isn't the head coaches job, it's the owners job. This infuriated alot of members. Mainly due to the head coach recently having a new born he prayed for and was given by the grace of God. Cfa was my safe space, but now I've had to move on to another gym due to losing our head coach, in other words, the heart of cfa was ripped away and the community has now been divided. I don't recommend any new members here. I was a solid member for 3 years and cfa was my family. But when I see ill intentions done to others for no reason, I wash my hands of that.
