We offer world class group fitness classes led by highly qualified coaches! We also have coaches ready to train the aspiring athlete to help them reach scholarship level strength and conditioning as well as the weekend warrior trying for a 5K personal record!

Spencer’s and Elliot were very welcoming. Kevin did a great job coaching! If you’re in town, drop in and get a workout in and make some friends! I was welcomed immediately and will definitely be back. If you’re looking for a new gym family, you should give D5 a try!

District 5 has seriously been one of the best parts about our move to the Winston-Salem area! From the moment that I walked in the door, I immediately felt welcomed by coaches and other members. The community here is awesome, the coaches give quality training, and I especially appreciate the long warm-ups, the breaking down of movements, and constructive feedback. Even if you have never tried Crossfit before, if you are looking for great workouts with great people of all ages and skill levels, you have to give this place a try!

Elliot and Spencer are excellent coaches! They are extremely thorough in the warm-up, take the time to educate every athlete, and they make you feel comfortable and safe in a new workout environment. Love these people! From the coaches to my teammates, everyone is SO KIND, and always willing to help! I have frequent shoulder pain and knee pain from previous sports and the coaches are always willing to accomodate that to ensure I don’t hurt myself further.

I was extremely nervous going into this gym. I didn’t really lift heavy weight, I didn’t really have a workout routine. I signed up for a free week but joined after day 3, there was no way I wouldn’t be back! Even after you complete a workout you did so-so on, you’ll constantly hear “great job,” and “way to work!”

The workouts got my in the door, but the people keep me coming back! ❤️

I couldn't be happier with this gym! I have been working out here since October of 2014 and love it, it is one of the highlights of my day. The other gym members are friendly and welcoming, and the coach's are very knowledgeable and motivational. I was initially nervous about the whole Crossfit idea thinking I had to already be in good shape before I started to be able to keep up with all of the other athletes in the gym, I was wrong. A friend talked me into going to workout with him there a couple times and I learned that all exercises can be scaled to the individual, if I can't do a particular exercise there is an alternative exercise I can perform to build me up to the initial movement, this was great! I have made significant gains in athletic ability and lost a substantial bit of weight since I have started! Its also very motivational when I have the other gym members cheering me on during the workout, I also look forward to going to the gym to see the other gym members I have become friends with since I started. If you are considering giving Crossfit District 5 a try I highly encourage you to do so!
