Dream Works Bladen is a faith-based wellness center in Elizabethtown, NC. We help our members pursue their dreams through fitness, community, and faith. Whether you're building strength or growing spiritually, weβre here to support you every step of the way.
A portion of our gym is open 24/7 for flexible access. We offer group fitness classes for adults and gymnastics for kids, power challenges to keep you motivated, and a smoothie bar to help you refuel after your workout.

Be careful when you cancel your membership they will still try to charge you and then threaten to take it to collections. I wouldnβt even give it 1 star. Then I called to see why I still owed, they wouldnβt waive the fee nor did they care they charged me after I cancelled it.

Ms. Sharon at the front desk is amazing. She is always smiling and willing to help, and the young lady who works the front desk at night is always helpful, especially on Saturday mornings. She greets everyone with a smile and says good morning.

It's what you would expect for a small town gym. Out dated equipment, out dated bathrooms. The amount of weight slamming and grunting is a bit much. Not everything is 24/7 only a small portion of the gym. And with it being the only gym for miles it can get a bit busy after business hours. Update as off 5/2/25 the treadmills on the back row randomly turn off while in the middle of a work out. Mid rid and they just shut off.

It's convenient to have a gym in E-Town, and the staff is very nice. If it wasn't for this gym you would have to drive to Clinton (which has a couple of nice fitness centers) or Wallace. Most of the equipment here is very old and not well maintained. I have seen the same two elliptical machines broken for a couple of months. That makes it a little aggravating when you show up and both of the functional ones are occupied. They did bring in some other elliptical machines, but they definitely fall into the "old" category and do not have a full range of motion, which is painful on my knees. My membership renews at the end of this month and I may not renew it and just drive the extra distance to Clinton where they have more and better maintained equipment.

I been paying 29.00 a month for a membership that I can't use. I got hurt at work and been disabled. They still been charging me the whole time. I went in to explain my situation to them. But they didn't care. They weren't willing to work with me. They just wanted my money. Bad place to do business. !

Rude staff, equipment in the 24 hr access weight room severely worn in some cases, couldn't find enough plates that weren't 45s, however the place seemed well-maintained and had a decent selection of machines, albeit very few. Would not recommend if you only want a gym to lift weights in, I can't speak for their other services.

Recently signed up again after being a member before in 2020. The quality of the equipment seems to have gone downhill a bit with some machines being damaged and rendered completely unusable, and other machines just sounding like they need to be serviced like the elliptical, stair machines, one ab machine is unusable at the moment, the other one the pads are falling apart. I will give them the benefit of the doubt because they have also added new machines/upgraded some since then. The variety of classes has decreased. Now it seems they only offer chair aerobics, circuit training, and HIIT. In 2020 they used to offer chair aerobics, step and tone, yoga, pilates, thai-chi, and sculpting etc. The water fountains in the treadmill area are usually dirty, and the water that I got from one of them tasted so unpleasantly metallic. Not sure if the management has changed since I was last a member, but it is definitely a notable difference hence the reason for knocking off 2 stars. On the plus side, the staff has remained friendly for the most part and helpful. They have started offering a reward point system where you obtain perks for simply going. Steph is an absolute angel and an asset to the gym, she's so kind, helpful, and always welcoming when I see her. Overall, I still look forward to hitting the gym most days and enjoy the Christian based structure! I do love my gym and happy to have one in our small town.

I went there on June 26th to cancel it right and soon as I'll get out of state iβm still being charged and then I tried calling them and they told me that I never canceled it when I came in there in person to pay them off now I gotta get my mom go over there smh then I asked if I could pay it online and thatβs not even an option so I'm not very happy with there work.

Steph is amazing. She goes out of her way to make sure youβre progressing. The staff is amazing and makes sure you are very comfortable. The convenience of the smoothie bar is great (especially post workout). Lastly the members here are amazing, creating a great atmosphere.

Really liked the gym till I canceled membership. Emailed to cancel membership, was informed membership was canceled, 2 weeks later 40.00 was taken out of my account for renewal, took 2 days of calling numerous times to contact management. Then finally a refund. Then another week goes by I'm charged another monthly fee. Called again and management is not there. I just want these people to quit taking my money out of my account

I drove 45 minutes to get there to tan today, on a saturday! when i work in lumberton at 3pm! I was very upset, i wasted alot of time and gas driving there today. I should have been told when i got tanning minutes when yall would be closed. So in the future tell people when your going to be closed so they dont waste their time. thanks!

I initially joined this place about 10 years ago when it was named " Health Works ". It's since come under new management and a new name too. It's still a great place to go and workout.
I highly recommend dream works to anyone who's looking to change their lifestyle.

A lot of outdated, broken, or useless equipment. Water fountains are either out of order or just plan dirty. I canβt speak for the menβs bathroom but the female bathroom is constantly dirty. I havenβt seen anyone come around to clean. I also donβt feel the staff enforces rules on putting back equipment. I do like how they are trying to expand on services to the community, just hate how you pay quite a bit of money for a long term contract for this kind of service.

This particular location is more than adequately equipped to meet whatever workout regimen you have set out for yourself. The staff of polite and respectful and the gym is always in excellent condition and is well maintained. They also go above and beyond ensuring that all the surfaces of the equipment in the gym area is clean and disinfected and the bathrooms are kept spotless and sanitized.

Love this gym I live 45 mins away but our office is around the corner so we go mon-fri except when we're out of town. The staffs so sweet even when I curse on accident forgetting where i am lol they still smile and are nice to us no judgment 4realz. Love the stand up bed after or during our workout!

Its super clean and the staff is super friendly. Lots of equipment to use. The place is great, except for the music and television. The reason it only got 3 stars is because 6 out of 7 TV's are on politics, and its liberal rhetoric is hard to listen to. For example, today 5 out of 7 TV's were on The View, one of the most hateful, antichristian shows on TV. The workout room in the front was blaring continuous rap music, I don't mind a mix of tunes, but thank the Lord I brought my headphones. I find it worrisome that a Christian based establishment would allow such hate on their TV'S.
