The YMCA has been great. They have worked very well with me on scheduling my child’s swim lessons. There are multiple instructors to work with my schedule. My kids thoroughly enjoy swim lessons and my son has successfully learned how to swim. Now my daughter is in lessons.

This facility is very nice! All the members we've come in contact with are very friendly. We took our son for swimming lessons and he loved it. His instructor, Asa, was the best! He took his time with him and helped him adjust to the water. After every class our son couldn't stop talking about his swim class, he had so much fun. You can even sit right on the benches and watch the class while your child is there to see how they do. Definitely recommend!

I just searched your website. Why are your membership rates higher for older adults? And I am not talking about the senior rates (those 65 and older). It would appear that it is an attempt to discourage middle aged to older adults from joining the Y. How is this practice of price gouging not a form of age discrimination? Anyone curious about this can simply look it up and do an age group to rate comparison. "Y" is my question.

I was a volunteer coach for a few seasons, and the referees are very biased. My teams continued to win their games, but the staff tried their hardest with bad calls, making up new rules weekly, and anything possible to make it harder for us. The leadership preach needing volunteers, but this season alone, I had 3 other coaches inform me that they also experienced similar issues. There are much better leagues out there in Stokesdale and Greensboro. It's worth the drive if you want your child treated fairly and to play by the actual rules of soccer.

Eden YMCA became our second home since the summer of 2020. Everybody who works there is extremely friendly, passionate about their job and helpful. Chris, Gina, Pete, Pat they are all part of our family since day one. Chris is the director of aquatics and works with our 4 and 6 year old sons. Our 6 year old has autism and Chris is so good with him. Both kids were so scared of water and now they jump in without hesitation. Chris was very patient, playful and gained their trust so quickly. Kids ask for her every day even on very cold days. We are so lucky and blessed to have found Chris and Eden Y.

Mi kiddos were in swimming classes from 7 to 7:30pm. Sometimes the class did not start on time and finished at 7:25. They canceled the lessons 2 times. The second time they called me 5 min beforehand the class starts. I lived 25 min from this place so we wasted our time. They said that it was because of thunder, but we were almost there and there was not thunder and in the weather says that the probability for it was 30% and ended at 8:00 pm.

Good Y with a large weight room and a growing cardio studio. Enhacements are underway but they do have towel service! Staff is the friendliest I've ever interacted with, which is saying something because they are always nice staff at every Y.

What does YMCA stand for? It cannot be Young Men's Christian Association. All you see here is activities for old people or people who do not work. All of their classes are during the daytime, Mon and Thu. they have a cycling class at 715pm. The only class on the weekend is at 9am. These are only classes that people who actually have a job can attend. Do not even go here unless you are retired or work at night.
