Since joining five rings I have not seen or experienced anything other than amazing leadership, comradery, and support from the coaches and members alike. The spirit and grit that is shown in all facets of of this business is one of a kind. The environment they have created has shown such backbone during this time of adversity, they way they handle it makes you want to be a part of it. Seeing how assiduous and raw the coaches are during this time has been one of the positives to come from this, it makes me want to stay involved.

I joined 5 rings towards the end of last summer and it was my first intro into Olympic lifting. After the first workout with the owner Ben I was more sore than I had ever been in my entire life, but him and everyone at 5 rings helped me get stronger and feel welcomed. Highly recommend stopping by if you are interested!

I've been coming to Five Rings for almost 4 months after changing gyms and have enjoyed my experience. I love the ability to have 24 hr access with my ever-changing schedule. There's quality equipment and great coaching. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a new gym

5 rings was my first experience with a true weightlifting team and I felt welcomed and honored to be there from day one. No matter what level you are, 5 rings provides an amazing community of like minded people and coaches that will push you and support you through it all. We are truly a family and I encourage anyone thinking about checking it out to go for it!

Sometimes it's hard to start attending a new gym because you don't know anyone, and Oly lifting can just be intimidating in general. It is not like that at all at Five Rings; where everyone is treated like family. They have all the equipment you'd need, and the coaching is fantastic. I had been Oly lifting for a while before coming here and have made more progress in 6 months than in the 3 years prior. Highly recommend!

Five rings is an awesome facility right outside NODA in Charlotte. Coaches are always there providing help and tips. Equipment is brand new as well. If you are serious about putting on muscle, Five Rings is the best place in Charlotte to do it.

I live in Raleigh but I have to be in Charlotte once a week for work. As a competitive weightlifter, they really are the best gym in the area. They have everything I need, regulation training bars and bumpers, lined platforms, pull blocks, jerk blocks, and mobile squat racks (which is really convenient). They have everything CrossFitters need as well, so I've used some of their equipment to do my rehab and accessory work. I love the colors and samurai theme, and the mural outside is probably one of the coolest you'll see in the NoDa area if you walk around. I've been to some weightlifting gyms where everyone is on their own platform, wearing headphones, and no one talks. But I've never felt unwelcome here - tons of laughing and encouragement. Definitely found my home away from home as far as gyms go. Oh yeah, they also invited me out for a beer right across the street when they closed up. Highly recommend.

In a world of instaspam "influencers", instant gratification, participation trophies, and endless promises of the the "magic pill"; 5 rings SC is a breath of fresh air. Veteran owned and operated. With a concept rooted in hard work and community 5 rings SC brings honor and commitment to the NODA community. A small business with the potential of changing the fitness space. Weightlifter, crossfitter, powerlifter, bootcamper, bodybuilder, all are welcome. Come be better; come be apart of the community, come develop your potential.

Unbelievable gym and a solid community of people striving for the same thing, strengths and condition, and fun. Highly recommended for the NODA community whether you're a beginner or more. Five Rings is welcoming, has 24 hour access, and has a really cool concept. Love it.

Really cool gym. Active weightlifting team and community but also a great place for workouts of any style. The outdoor area is incredible. Highly recommend it for anyone living in the area or even people passing through.

The new Five Rings gym looks so dope and great spot with good equipment for weightlifting. Dropped in to do my weightlifting program while in town for work and everyone is very accommodating. Looking forward to coming here when I’m in Charlotte, and can’t wait to lift on the outdoor space when it’s warmer!
