Is good customer service nonexistent nowadays?! My daughter was super excited to go to her first Pilates class this past week. She came home CRYING. She said her instructor was Rachel Medlin and she was super unprofessional, rude, and condescending. I do not recommend this instructor if you book a class.

The Kure to Christ

I’m very disappointed with my experience at FlowCorps. I initially reached out to host a private Christian group event for my ministry, The Kure to Christ, and was upfront about the vision from day one: Gospel music, a brief prayer, a short 5-minute word of encouragement, followed by a Pilates movement session. The manager, Sarah, confirmed that this was fine and even expressed support. I was clear that the event was open to everyone—believers and non-believers alike.
However, shortly after, I received a call from Sarah stating, the owner of FlowCorps said I could no longer host the event because it “didn’t include everyone” and was “only for Christian people,” which was absolutely false. I reiterated that the event was inclusive, but she insisted it wasn’t aligned with their studio values and said FlowCorps would now be creating a policy against religious events. That shift, without warning, felt discriminatory and incredibly disheartening.
I also sent Sarah the Gospel playlist she requested (as it was a Christian-themed event), but was told it might not be used because they only stream from Spotify, not Apple Music. She said she’d “do her best” to find the songs or create her own playlist, which didn’t sit well with me—especially after I was clear about the spiritual intent and music being a vital part of the experience. I never heard back from her after that, and the lack of follow-up and professionalism forced me to cancel the event.
This left me in a tough position. I had to issue refunds to guests who had already paid and were excited about the class. The communication was poor, the treatment felt exclusionary, and overall, this was a really disappointing and hurtful experience. I wouldn’t recommend FlowCorps to anyone looking to host events that incorporate faith or spirituality—especially if you’re expecting clarity, respect, and integrity in how your event is handled.
The only positive is that my Pilates class with JorDawn was absolutely amazing!

I have been going to Flowcorps for over a year - and I absolutely love it. The workouts are challenging, but the instructors do a great job explaining each movement, and I have noticed improvements in my own strength and flexibility each week.

Just took a hot mat Pilates class with Taylor and WOWWW what an incredible experience! Taylor is an amazing instructor. Her energy, guidance, and motivation kept me pushing through the entire class. The workout was definitely challenging in the best way possible, and I left feeling strong, empowered, and refreshed. I especially loved the effective movements she had us do. Every exercise felt intentional and targeted. Plus, her music choices were amazing and made the whole class so much fun. I had such a great time and can’t wait to come back!

Always leave classes at this studio feeling
uplifted, grateful, and like I got a solid workout! Ginevra is an amazing instructor, impressively able to be attentive to all individual students while keeping the whole class on track (and the playlists rule). Thanks for the fun movement!

Great experience. I'm as limber as a dry piece of wood. Great flow through the movements. I'm a complete beginner and didn't fall behind. The staff is great and welcoming. This will be a permanent part of my fitness protocols

I got here before the class start but I had to drive around to find parking! Every hot yoga place I have been they have a 5 minutes grace time. I was late just 3 minutes because of driving around looking for parking and I got to the door I see the sign that there is apparently no grace period for yoga! Parking could be better.. because of they had parking I would have made to my class on time!!!

Sarah was the best hot yoga teacher! It was the perfect balance of challenging and relaxing. I don’t have tons of yoga experience and felt like she modeled and explained everything really well. The studio is clean and modern, nice low lighting, and just an overall attractive place! Loved it!!!

FlowCorps has a great sense of community and an awesome space to do yoga. Classes are as difficult as you want them to be, but more importantly instructors are kind and meet you where you are, this is my favorite studio in Raleigh.

Workouts were great. Always enjoyed the tread classes as well. All of the instructors were nice and gave my modifications when I was dealing with injuries.
However, communication with the folks who manage memberships is slim to none. They don’t even have a phone number for people to call to ask questions. It was wildly frustrating. In addition to that, I cancelled my Membership and they still kept charging my card without any communication. You could wait hours if not days for a response from texts (that’s the only way to communicate with people if you are not physically in the studio).
Loved the workouts but when it came to basic customer service, this is the worst experience I’ve had with any gym I’ve been to.

My only regret is not trying FlowCorps sooner. I love the yoga options as well the pilates and TreadX classes. The instructors are all so welcoming and helpful, which is a big perk when you've never been on a reformer before. Within just a few classes I actually felt like I knew what I was doing. Very highly recommend!

Instructors are helpful and are very attentive to everything. I cannot recommend this place enough. It is expensive, but it is worth what you are getting.

Recently I was able to do a corps45 class followed by a yoga class. It was amazing! Cheryl is such a great teacher, kind and gentle with clear transitions. The studio is gorgeous, especially the new yoga space. For yoga the room was heated to 81 degrees for a “warm flow” set to music. The pace of the class was perfect for building heat and getting a good, deep stretch. I have been going to FC for a couple of years since my friend recommended it and I am so grateful for it. The studio manager was super helpful when I needed to take a medical leave and I am so glad to be back!! Keep up the good work! 💙

I’ve come to this studio for treadx, treadx endurance, and now yoga! Every class I’ve gone to has been fun and also challenging, with clear instructions and great energy from all of the instructors. My favorite is Erica who makes working out more like a party - a party that makes you work hard and sweat a ton but is a blast! Can’t wait to try out new classes!

Really love this studio! I am significantly overweight, so I was worried I was not fit enough to even be able to do the classes. Sam was so nice and helpful my first class and provided alternatives to the movements I was unable to do....Since then I've been to a lot more classes and all the trainers have been amazing!

The best ‘total body’ workout! I wrongly assumed it would be an all ‘core’ workout but I feel it in almost every muscle group. Such a great workout!
