I came to Brett pretty suck in my golf game. I wasn't getting better and felt very unathletic while playing golf. After a few weeks working with Brett, my golf swing and my body has completely changed. I have much more range of motion in my hips and back and am never sore after a round of golf. Can't recommend Brett enough if you're serious about golf and your overall health!

Brett has changed my perspective on fitness and what it takes to have the proper mobility and stability to have a pain-free swing. He's set me on my path to be able to play this game for life. I have been working with Brett for about 5 months, and he has been instrumental in my improved golf related mobility. From the outset of working with Brett, he has consistently demonstrated a mastery of how the body needs to move during a quality golf swing, as well as what mobility improvements are needed to get there. It is clear he has a passion for learning, and more importantly a passion for passing that knowledge on to others. I believe Brett is one of the most knowledgeable instructors I have had the fortune of consulting and working with. I am a lifelong golfer, and student of the game. I always knew that a lack of mobility and muscle flexiblity limited my game, but I never understood the extent to which my lack of coordination and strength in key muscle groups, impacted my scores and overall consistency.
Brett breaks everything down through an initial physical assessment and detailed follow-up summary. Brett documents whether a client is proficient in properly sequencing the separate muscles/joints that control the swing---from a golfer's iniital backswing through the finish. After identifying a golfer's key areas of weakness, Brett shows how improper coordination of the muscles/joints result in what most golfers label "improper mechanics." For me, my lack of pelvic rotation and ankle mobility typically result in swinging over the top, or early extension. Brett even identified these swing issues before my initial consult, through just a short clip of my swing.
Brett offers golfers the option to work with him to develop a tailored training program--one that enhances a golfer's physical ability, coordination and muscle memory. I would highly recommend the average and serious golfer alike to schedule a consult with Brett!

Brett is an absolute professional. He was able to identify my weaknesses and build a custom program for me. I have seen a tremendous improvement in my mobility, flexibility, and strength. Last year I dropped more than 5 strokes off my game. Even though I am not in Charlotte we stay connected and keep things going in the right direction. I highly recommend working with this gentleman. His attention to detail is one of a kind, and I have worked with other trainers.

Brett is the real deal. Total pro and the best kind of fitness geek. He’s supremely knowledgeable, and adaptive to what’s happening with my body. And, he collaborates openly with my other practitioners (chiro, myofascial, acupuncture). He’s helped me make a successful return to competition, and lately has been getting me steadily back toward golf after a debilitating back injury last fall. I have the confidence that what I’m working on is the right thing and done right, and Brett’s always available if I have a question. I won’t make a move without him.

Brett is an expert in the very specialized field of golf fitness. In the time I have worked with him, I have broken scores of 100 and 90, and have significantly improved on the physical restrictions I came to him with. He will follow up with you on how the home workouts are going, and spend extra time with you in areas that you struggle with. Working with Brett has been an amazing experience. I feel grateful to have met him and have the opportunity to learn from him. I came in as a good golfer who needed a lift physically to take my game to the next level. Brett has improved my mobility and overall quality of life far more than I expected. I started out with a with a back that caused me a ton of pain as well as limited flexibility in both my lower and upper body. Brett has catered personal routines that have improved all areas I targeted better and faster than I expected. In addition, I believe he does a great job making his immense knowledge of fitness/TPI digestible to those with little to no fitness background. I will recommend Brett to anyone who is looking to improve their golf, fitness or overall quality of life as he has done all of that for me.

I started working with Brett to create additional mobility and flexibility after experiencing a lot of stiffness in my golf swing. After a short period, I noticed significantly more freedom of movement and overall comfort in my swing. My back, hips and legs are moving much more fluidly and it has allowed me incorporate adjustments from golf lessons much more efficiently into my swing. An additional bonus is some old nagging muscle injuries feel substantially better from the same work with Brett. Brett's deep knowledge of strength and mobility is obvious from the very start and he works to customize his program for what you need personally. I would highly recommend Golf Fitness for anyone looking to improve their golf game and movement overall!
