Wonderful, professional teacher with relaxed vibe in the class. I have done yoga off and on in several places for 25 years and this is the best class I have taken. Wonderful for body and mind - and community.

Kelly's Goodyoga classes have been a staple in my life since I moved to Asheville in 2001. For the past 20+ years, I have observed as Kelly has strengthened her skill through continuing professional courses. She is an excellent teacher with special training in yoga therapy. I can't recommend her enough.

I have practiced yoga with Kelly for 20 years. Whether in person or on zoom, each class is different and full of her wisdom. Kelly is kind, highly trained, and guides us safely through class. Yoga has transformed and informed my life. Kelly’s Good Yoga is a hidden gem in Asheville.,

I gave been going to Good Yoga for a number of years. Kelly has worked hard to adapt a yoga program for the aging body. My aches and pains are eased tremendously by my weekly yoga sessions with Kelly.

Kelly has been my yoga instructor for at least 6 years. I have continued with her each time she offers classes because she is the best teacher I have had in my yoga experiences. She is particularly supportive for me at age 80, as she has wonderful rapport with students that are older, (as well as younger,) and knows how to cater to our unique needs. She is patient with our varying levels of ability and flexibility and is understanding of challenges we may have. We get a TRIPLE of assets while in class with Kelly : she is 1) always learning and is familiar with anatomy and physiology explaining in understandable terms how certain movements and poses will affect us 2) integrates sayings, humor, or other material that encourage us to be our best selves 3) is interested in the well being of each student and is never critical.
I have taken classes with her in person and on zoom. She now offers classes that one can take in class or on zoom. I have Macular Degeneration and hearing loss, yet I can follow her with ease. I believe if my vision were to get worse, her directions to us are so well articulated that I could still follow her yoga instructions. Kelly pays close attention to her students and offers alternate ways to do certain moves when , for example a person needs to sit to do an exercise rather than stand, or get on her knees. She is always encouraging, and checks in with students to see if there are specific areas anyone needs her to address. The environment is relaxing, and it seems we all keep returning to her classes because we know that movement is SO essential to our health. If in doubt, try a class with her. You may get hooked as I have! Nita Walker

Kelly’s Good Yoga classes are top notch. Kelly brings in so much knowledge to her students, all effortlessly and naturally. Kelly always encourages self care in any pose or practice so I always feel safe and comfortable. I leave class with a renewed feeling of aliveness and confidence. I have been a student with Kelly for about 15 years.

Kelly is an experienced, attuned, and gifted yoga teacher who adapts each class to students' specific needs, riffing on themes like a jazz musician. She also teaches us to tune into what our bodies and spirits are needing in the moment, and empowers us to adapt our practice accordingly. Kelly's classes have helped me cultivate joyful acceptance and confidence.

I've been practicing yoga with Kelly for more than 20 years now and I highly recommend her as an insightful, fun, highly experienced teacher.
She's especially skilled with us ladies of a certain age, emphasizing "do what's right for you" rather than the perfect pose. Very flexible offerings, either zoom from your home, or join her in her beautiful west Asheville studio. You won't be sorry!
