Been enjoying my experience. Coach Jon is very professional and knows his stuff. Working out with GTA has improved my upper and lower body mobility. It also improved the strength in my right arm which was weak and aching all the time before joining. If you are looking for a good trainer and/or new gym, hit them up!

This was a great workout for my first day! John was a really good coach and everybody was so motivating and helpful during the group session. I would definitely recommend this for anybody that looking for a nice variety of workouts thats not too overwhelming. He offers your first 3 sessions for FREE so I would just check it out.

After a three day trial, I decided to join the GTA crew... just completed my third week of three sessions per week. As a former collegiate athlete, I've been fortunate to both train with and by some of the most competitive people, coaches, and trainers. What makes GTA special is that I can release the need to focus on performance and align with community and consistency. No yelling, no exhaustion, no complicated stations, just effort, pace, and celebrating collective wins. I'm grateful to have a space to unlearn and relearn what's needed for the next phase of my movement journey.

Tried out GTA after a friend’s referral today! …and I’m so glad I did! The energy was high from the start, and Jonathan did a great job leading the class and pushing us individually. It’s 1am and I’m writing this review knowing I have to wake up in 5 hours to make it to the gym at 7am on a Friday. That alone should tell you how amazing this gym is, that I still really want to go on limited sleep. I know sleep plays a huge part in your fitness journey but do as I say and not as I do in this review and JOIN GTA if you’re looking for a gym!!! If anyone knows me, they know I am NOT a morning person and I refused to ever wake up before the sun to do anything fitness related. I had every excuse in the book until I joined GTA. So please take it from me, if I can get up and come here every day, so can you. This gym has become a safe & enjoyable space for me, even during difficult workouts. It has been the community & atmosphere that Coach Jon has created that has kept me at GTA & will keep you here too. I will be desperately looking for a gym in GA when I move that will give me the same feeling, joy, challenge & family that GTA has given me and I might actually cry when I move. Very literal about that. BEST gym in the Triangle!

Really good workout format. John was a great coach, and everyone was super welcoming to me as a first timer.
I think this class would be good for anyone, regardless of fitness level. It’s motivating, and you can push with intensity, but you’re working at your own station so you can go at whatever pace is right for you. Highly recommend checking it out.

Jon listens to your needs and is very knowledgeable regarding what workout your body needs. One of my biggest concerns I was start I g to lift weights and exercise at the gym at 49, being cations about potential risk of injury. He walks you through each and every workout reassuring you and helping build upon your confidence. Big ups to his expertise and craft.

GTA Fitness is hands down the best gym I’ve ever been to. The environment is welcoming and Coach Jon creates a community where people feel safe to work out and accomplish their goals. The workout is quick and effective, and there are various class times that can align with your schedule. Coach Jon always mixes up the workouts so that the class is interesting and fun, but it will definitely be a challenge as well!

A true gym family! This is the first time in my life I've been part of a gym where I felt welcomed and included. I was a gym novice before joining GTA and I always found gym spaces to be intimidating. This space is the complete opposite. GTA has been the gym I've been looking for! I have been loving every group session - it's the right amount of challenge & I can already tell I'm going to make gains (mentally and physically). Coach Jon is a skilled trainer + does an excellent job pushing and encouraging every GTA member (while making sure we are moving with the right/safe technique). Within the first Month of being consistent at the gym I knew that GTA was the place for me. Honestly this gym atmosphere is unmatched for the area in my short time (1.5 years) of being in Durham.
The music, the structure of the classes, it’s clean, it’s challenging for ppl at different ability levels, and it’s a welcoming environment for everyone. Would definitely recommend trying the gym and his services out!

I have been working out here 3 times a week since January. The workouts are very challenging but, totally worth it! The group workouts leave me inspired and exhausted. I’m am happy I trusted Jon with my weigh loss journey! He makes sure I am educated in nutrition and how to maximize effectiveness of a workout! I have a back injury that Jon is aware of, he is attentive to help reduce the risk of additional injury and to help strengthen the muscles in that area! I feel safe here. Our trainer Jon is theeee best. He knows working out is more than physical and promotes our mental health as well.
