We joined Gym-Fit in November 2022, shortly after relocating to Charlotte from San Francisco. At the time, my daughter was 18 months old and we enrolled in the Mommy & Me class just to get out of the house and start building new routines.

From the very beginning, Gym-Fit made an incredible impression. It’s a truly diverse, welcoming, and high-energy environment—not just in marketing, but in practice. That sense of inclusion is evident in the coaching staff, the families, and the broader community they've built.

Over the years, my daughter has grown so much here. She’s now four and tells everyone she’s a gymnast. Her love for gymnastics is strong, and it’s largely thanks to the positive, encouraging relationships she’s built with the coaches. She practices at home without prompting and genuinely looks forward to every class.

Beyond the gymnastics, Gym-Fit has become a meaningful part of our lives. We’ve made real friendships with other families that have helped us feel connected and at home in a new city.

I couldn’t recommend Gym-Fit more highly. It’s not just a gym—it’s a community that supports, uplifts, and inspires.

The coaches here are amazing - as an adult with little experience I thought I would struggle, but I was guided through from easy to intermediate activities, and within an hour I made more progress than I thought possible. If you live in Charlotte and are interested in gymnastics, this is the place to go.

We love Gym-Fit! My daughters started taking classes in Kindergarten and eventually joined the team. I have enjoyed watching them learn and master new skills, become more flexible and more self-confident. We have been with Gym-Fit for at least 6 years and they have been wonderful to work with!

Customer service is lacking. My son was in Ms. Hannah’s preschool fit class. We just moved here from out of state (no family or friends and 3 kiddos). My husband was in a bad car accident which totaled our car. Hadn’t even been here in NC for two months. NC is very slow on things so it took weeks to get a car rental through insurance. With that said. There was no way to get around and take my son to any of his activities. I was ok with still making payments as long as it was holding his spot. They dropped him because he hadn’t been and they also tried to run my card but it didn’t go through. WHY DID NO ONE CALL ME????? All I needed to do was transfer money. Not a big deal. No one reached out or checked in. We are dealing with a lot. They just dropped him. I think that’s pretty messed up especially knowing our situation. They said it was Ms. Hannah’s doing which sounds about right! My son didn’t like her much anyway. As a 32 year old mother of 3 who deals with a lot of teachers/coaches through my childrens activities…. She’s the worst. Her attitude could use a upgrade! Poor communication and customer service dealing with a parent! Mind you his other school has been amazing and understanding. Also, they reach out!

My 6 year old has absolutely loved his Ninja classes at Gym Fit! Jen and the team of ninja instructors have been kind, patient and encouraging of my son and he has grown tremendously in the program over the past year. The atmosphere is so positive. I'd encourage anyone thinking about getting their little one involved in ninja or gymnastics to try out Gym Fit!

Gym-Fit has amazing coaches and staff that have helped my daughter feel confident in her abilities, even as she is just learning. I really appreciate the care they have taken during the pandemic, both in the gym, and with families as they need to miss weeks. When we are training at home (my daughter is six and determined to be a Ninja Warrior), I feel good about the information they have given me to support her (because I am *not* Ninja Warrior material).

After putting my daughter in dance I seen that that did not keep her interest... So I was looking for a place where toddlers can actually learn the fundamentals of gymnastics;not just play time.... and lo and behold I ran across this spot that is only 15 minutes from my house.. I mean unbelievable... Balancing beam... Bars... it's something different every week.. great way to kick off

My daughter & I love this gym! They have a lot of different classes and time slots to choose from to fit your schedule. My child also attended the after school program which was a huge plus for us. I wish there was another GymFit located in Rock Hill, SC.

I love this place! My 2 year old does gymnastics and not only are the teachers so patient and fun but these ladies have cleaned like I have never cleaned before!!! Love to see they are making sure our children are safe ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I have had it with GymFit. My daughter has attended this gym for over a year and a half and we have tried to remain here despite previously problems. IToday, my daughter was sat out (while I was recording), and with no explanation. I have seen several girls act out and never get sat out; not that I’m asking for that to happen because they are young children, but please be fair. I feel as though they cater to a certain client at this gym, and have shown less than fair practices when it comes to the treatment of some children. As a matter of fact it borders bullying. I have videos to prove it and the owner was if no help to say the least.

We just got done celebrating our 3 year old’s birthday there and the kids had so much fun! I can’t say enough about how amazing the staffs were.
All the parents along with myself and my husband were very impressed with the place and how the staffs handled the kids, especially the younger ones.
The staffs kept the kids busy so the kids were definitely wore out in 1 hour. One of the staff even worked with my older two on the other obstacles so they can have fun too.

Great place to take kids to get them moving, too bad they practically don't teach kids anything unless they are in a team. Teacher turnover is too great, their level of expertise is from poor to nonexistent as concerning teaching skills. They may be gymnasts, but they agree not educators. Level of attention to his is minimal, mistake correction lacking, teachers motivation absolute null. One can just see how those girls biding their time till the evening bell, getting paid, probably, minimal wage. Most of as class time is just standing around, waiting for their turn to do a move, but even then often left on their own. Actual active time is so minor, you'll be paying for your kid standing around, which can be done elsewhere for free.
Big disappointment, comparing to how they were starting. But all decent teachers but the owner left. One gets an impression that the business got the "business model" from one of those workshops, sends now in business of making money, not developing and educating young ones. Children are just a toil of again money from ppl. The so called "performance" at the end of a year is a pure scam and a nightmare. Its just a"public"lesson, with all the adults packed in a small room, with not enough seats for everybody, and you of course have to buy a special leotard for it, and then pay to participate. Then you watch all the groups go through just another lesson. Kids don't prepare anything special, there is no choreography, or any kind of script or directing.
Traffic can be a put off.

Love Gym fit. It has a great atmospher for every age group. When needed team girl work with rec children. I just feel inspired when I walk through the door. Definitely the place to be.
