Kraken Fitness is a great space to focus on your health and strength. Personal training is an investment, but working with Meg makes it well worth it! She’s an expert in what she does and pushes you in the best way. The environment is inclusive and everyone there is genuinely supportive. Would definitely recommend!

This is by far the best gym I've been to. You don't have to worry about memberships that are difficult to end, you just pay for whatever services you want and as you want them. The prices are very reasonable and the outcomes speak for themselves.
The trainers are all experienced and helpful. Any of them will quickly get a feel for your skill level and how much weight you can work with in a given workout. They will challenge you, but not pressure you to go beyond your limits.

I've been going to Kraken Fitness for almost three years now, and I absolutely love it. I primarily work with Michelle, who is incredibly knowledgeable and always quick to offer helpful guidance, whether it's about improving form in the gym or tips to maximize progress between sessions. I've also had the chance to work with Meg and Ashley when Michelle was on vacation, and they were equally fantastic. The vibe at Kraken is unmatched: zero judgment, one-on-one attention, and a fun, welcoming atmosphere that keeps me coming back. It's truly a special place that I would recommend to anyone.

I've been working out at Kraken Fitness for 10 months now and absolutely love it! The gym is women-owned (Michelle is so welcoming!) and has such a supportive, empowering vibe. My trainer, Meg, is fantastic—encouraging, knowledgeable, and really attentive. She strikes that perfect balance of encouraging and challenging—I always feel pushed to do my best, but never in a way that ignores how I’m feeling that day. She’s great at adjusting workouts on the fly and explaining movements in a way that makes things click. I’ve gotten stronger and more confident, and I actually look forward to my workouts every week. Update 6/30/2025: In addition to the functional bodybuilding classes, I've also been going to personal training sessions. Braz has been a wonderful trainer - very attentive and knowledgeable. At the start of every workout he would ask if I have injuries and would adjust the work out as necessary. He's also been good with keeping track of the weights I've been doing and knows how to gauge if I need something heavier/lighter. The workouts are aptly challenging too and it's always tailored to my goals. Would definitely recommend Braz for your personal training needs especially if you have specific goals.
Overall, I've been super happy with Kraken and sticking with them for 4 years now is a testament to that. Michelle's energy is unmatched and the community she has started is super encouraging. I also really like that they value your feedback which not a lot of places even ask for!

I've been going to Kraken Fitness for 4 months now, and I've been really enjoying the group classes. Pricing is reasonable, and the class format changes every couple of weeks, so there's always variety (good for people who like to break the monotony once in a while). Michelle is always so energetic and encouraging, and is always ready for every class. I've always been super intimidated by working out at gyms, but this place is very welcoming and other people in class are always so nice. Highly recommend.

I can not rave about this place enough!! From the owner to my Personal Trainer, Braz, they have been nothing but professional, easy to work with, and fun. You get a gym vibe with the personal trainer touch. You work 1:1 with your trainer with no one else in the building. That means ALOT to me. The focus is on me lol This was the best decision I've made when it comes to my health.

All of the trainers are knowledgeable, kind, and patient. I started going there almost 2 years ago when I needed to lose weight. With the help of the Kraken crew, I lost 37 pounds and have never felt stronger or more confident. The trainers are great for one-on-one sessions and the morning classes provide challenging workouts and a strong sense of community.

Today was the six month mark of me attending Kraken Fitness and I could not be happier! As an Autistic individual with multiple movement limitations (who often needs things demonstrated multiple times before they "click"), I was incredibly nervous to start this journey. Enter Michelle. She listened to all of my concerns and has created an amazing space for me to feel both supported and challenged. I love this gym! I’ve been training here since August 2024, and I’ve gotten so much stronger. Michelle is an amazing trainer. She meets you where you are but still pushes you to grow. The group classes are the perfect size, so it always feels like you’re getting individualized attention. Every workout is challenging in the best way. Before coming to Kraken I had ZERO experience in the gym. Working with Ashley this last year has brought me to milestones I could never imagine. Not only am I much stronger (a lot stronger than a wet noodle), but I have gained knowledge and confidence in my fitness abilities. I now know how to work out in a safe and beneficial way. I signed up for a consult with Michelle on a whim when I was about 10 months post-partum. I wasn’t loving my body and was struggling with chasing/carrying around a 3 year old and 10 month old. Michelle was warm, welcoming and most importantly listened to me, my needs and concerns. She connected me with Katie and I have now been training with her for six months and have never felt stronger and my confidence has improved. Katie is knowledgeable and plans out thoughtful workouts that are challenging and rewarding.
I am so lucky to have found this gym. It is worth the investment in yourself. Katie and Michelle create such a fun environment that, even on low motivation days, you feel compelled to go work out and walk out energized.

I've been attending bootcamp classes and 1:1 training with Michelle for almost a year now and it's one of the best decisions I've ever made for myself. I was in a rut with working out and couldn't find motivation to keep a consistent routine...that's when I found Michelle. Her energy is contagious and she's the kind of trainer that makes working out at 6am fun. Shortly after I started working with her I found out I was pregnant and she was very accommodating and made modifications for any exercise I could no longer do as I advanced in my pregnancy. I ended up being able to work out with her up until I was 9 months pregnant bc of it :) 10/10 would recommend her to anyone...she's the best!

I have been training w Michelle for a while now. Her attention to detail, wealth of knowledge, and lead by example character make her an ideal trainer. Everything you do with her is supported w deep research, an advanced level of understanding exercise fundamentals, and foundational movements. She has an extreme desire to ensure every detail is instilled into the programming she puts together for you. In addition, she understands the safety aspect to ensure you don’t acquire an injury. If you are someone who wants to make a change, get stronger, faster, leaner, and most importantly, feel better on a daily basis, then this is where you need to go. This place is amazing. I have been training with Michelle and Josh for over 2 1/2. Let me just start by saying I had knee surgery in 2017. Michelle worked with me and I made a full recovery. My job is very demanding physically, I actually came back to work stronger because of them. Since they moved to new location ive been going to boot camp and it's freaking awesome. Every boot camp is different and totally kicks my butt every time. Great job to them for being such motivating trainers.

Amazing out of the box training, If you ever feel stagnant in and everyday routine, go to Kraken fitness Ive known Michelle and Josh for over three years they are amazing trainers .
