Good gym however…
Today there was a lady who probably works as a kids swimming teacher, with dark curly hair, who was starring at me for a long time, giving a weird attitude because I was swimming at the line that she wanted no one to swim, so without explaining that she had a lesson she just rudely commented me swimming. Never expected to face disrespect LifeTime fitness
Awful attitude
Please teach your workers how to appropriately talk to clients

$250 a month, ironically staff is so rude you could imagine they believe members have nothing contributing to their bi-weekly checks; I've even witnessed how they treat young adults like their not welcome... Jealousy?, Here there is a lack of equipment or just changes without notice, dirty areas and equipment, and cancelation is next to impossible. They will lock you on contract with arbitrary fees.

We love our LifeTime club! Huge shoutout to Ms. Darlene, Miss Capriotti, Ms. Jane, Miss Adia, and Ms. Martina in Kids Club — absolute gems. And cycle queen Ms. Rosey? Total powerhouse.

Now, quick PSA for my fellow members: if you’re parking in the “Families with Kids”/ “Expecting Mothers” spots but don’t actually have kids with you (just car seats as props 😉)… do better!! Park in another area, the parking lot is huge, get those extra steps in, and save those spots for the parents and mamas-to-be who really need them. Let’s keep it honest and kind, people 💪🏻 💛

I went to the spa to get my hair done today. The hairstylist said she had several clients and could only take minimal time with me. The hair ended up too dark and too short. It seems like too many clients are booked back to back, ensuring that clients like me get the short end of the stick. I wont be back.

I love this gym but why is there a huge fluorescent light bulb in the sauna. Most lifetimes have calming light where you can feel relaxed, similar to a spa. Please fix!

Putting urinal cake in the men's sauna to cover up how bad it smells great idea and nice choice of music! I just upped my membership another $100 a month and have been spending a lot of money in your cafes and I had one critique to point out that was valid and I got met with a bunch of passive aggressive BS. Thank you very much!! Whoever is controlling the music at this club needs to be put in check!!

One basketball court plus I travel a lot and they don't charge for pickeball courts in Texas and other states. Unfortunately this place needs to figure out better management because one basketball court for a gym as big as lifetime that's pretty ridiculous and people that don't have life they schedule the pickeball court daily they need better system for people that have busy work life. They need to make it more accessible

Clean, great variety of equipment, classes, and activities. I wish there were more availability of indoor courts for pickleball and other aerobics classes, though. Particularly in the AM. Also, the young people at the desk could use a bit of friendliness and interaction with incoming members. Smiling is free.

This has nothing to do with the gym and everyone else except pickleball. Lifetime Pickleball is absolutely awful. The pickleball staff are some of the rudest, most unprofessional people I’ve ever come across. They go out of their way to make you feel unwelcome, like paying members don’t matter at all. The environment is hostile, not friendly, and it honestly feels like they dont even want you to play. They said the next time I play I have to get an assessment to even play and some of the regulars were some of the rudest people I've ever met and unwelcoming people ever. For over $100 a month, the pickleball is a complete joke.

( SPECIALLY ABOUT THE PICKLEBALL COURTS NOT THE REST OF THE GYM) If I could give ZERO stars, I would. The pickleball courts at this gym are an absolute joke. My friend and I showed up to play and were immediately treated like garbage by two of the staff members just because we were the youngest people there. Instead of helping or welcoming us, they talked down to us, told us we “weren’t good enough,” and basically acted like we didn’t belong. News flash: it’s 9 o’clock on a Thursday night — the courts weren’t full, and yet they still made a big deal out of nothing.

They told us we had to “upgrade our score” and get some kind of pointless assessment just to play PUBLIC pickleball. Seriously? It’s a rec game, not the Olympics. On top of that, a few of the regular players joined in on the attitude and even reported us, saying we weren’t skilled enough — which is laughable, because the games we played were close.

This place is toxic. The staff are rude, arrogant, and completely unprofessional, and they clearly have no idea how to treat their members who pay hundreds of dollars a month to go here, If you’re young, new, or just want to play for fun, don’t waste your time here. They only care about catering to their little clique and making others feel unwelcome.

My family loves to spend time at LT Fitness, but the best part for me has been working with personal trainer Joe Windsor. My only wish is that I would have had him in my life 20 years ago 🤣. He is incredibly knowledgeable in all aspects of fitness and nutrition, but also understands the specific challenges women face in middle-age. He is incredibly motivating, encouraging and supportive and would (and do!) highly recommend Joe to everyone looking for a personal trainer.

I really love Lifetime. The facilities are great. The staff is friendly and it’s a great family place. However, there is one issue that needs attention. The Food and Beverage department is riddled with issues. They are constantly running out of food items, salad dressing, hamburger buns, broken frozen drink machine, you name it, this location has constant food and beverage issues. It’s very frustrating for members. Lifetime corporate needs to bring in a professional food and beverage manager to straighten it out. We’re at the pool today and member after member are complaining about food and beverage issues, especially how long it takes to get any order. Members are not happy with this aspect of Lifetime and hopefully this review brings attention to the F&B issues and corporate takes some action to turn things around.

Was in the club last night around 10 pm - no towels anywhere. Everyone was wandering around looking for one, and the only guy on duty said he was covering the whole place by himself. Half the showers were closed and the swimsuit dryer’s still broken. This isn’t new either: saw roaches in the locker room the other day and towels tossed all over the floor.

I’m paying a premium that keeps climbing every couple of months, yet basic amenities are falling apart - no towels, broken dryers, cheap hair dryers, filthy locker room. If Lifetime can hike fees, it can damn well staff the place properly at night and keep it clean. At the end of the day, it feels like they just don't care about their members, the equipment and amenities are always breaking and we're footing the bill.

I have been a member at lifetime for several years now. I really love the club and the improvements they have made over the years have been great. My family and I spend a lot of time there. I have also been training with Joe for around a year, maybe a little less. Joe is the best. He is a very good motivator, is very organized, and helps push me to reach my goals. I have noticed a huge difference in both my appearance and how I feel since starting with him. I can’t recommend him highly enough. I have also done Pilates with both Gretchen and Nellie for a few years. Both of them are amazing and help me to balance my workouts with core and flexibility. I would like to share my experience from May 18, 2025. Unfortunately, I encountered extremely poor service from your staff.

I had lost my shoes in the locker room the previous week and approached the front desk for assistance. The staff member I spoke with—possibly named Danielle, wearing a green shirt—was dismissive and rude. Instead of offering a solution, she simply said, “We are out of staff and can’t look at it right now,” and ignored my concern.

I then spoke to another staff member in the locker area, who told me, “I don’t know about your shoes, I wasn’t here last week.” There was no effort from anyone to investigate the issue or help me find my missing item. I was met with indifference, excuses, and unprofessional body language.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Ms. Takemma Cunningham for her exceptional assistance. I honestly had little hope of recovering my lost shoes, but thanks to her prompt action and dedication, they were found.

Ms. Cunningham went above and beyond—not only in helping locate my belongings but also in showing genuine kindness and professionalism throughout the process. She even took the time to apologize on behalf of others.

Her support truly made a difference, and I believe she is an outstanding asset to your team. I wanted to make sure her efforts do not go unnoticed

Management is horrible, being a member for over 5 years means nothing here, they've raised their prices over the years which they're in their full right to do so but they're purging all members that are grand fathered in to lower prices since they've been there for years. At the end of the day, they don't care about their customers, their equipment is always breaking, their child care center is full of kids watching younger kids. They have teenagers yelling at 3 year olds which is never okay, they recycle managers and employees every few months so you can't build any relationships with anyone at the club, therefore no one cares that you're even there. All their mistakes and negligence is swept under the rug, we've had our car broken into twice and their response was basically tough luck and asked us to not spread it among other members to not spook them because they're constantly doing damage control to protect their image. It'll all add up soon though and hopefully bring in a new GM that can actually clean this place up but as of now it's all fake smiles and you're treated as if you're irrelevant.

I looked into joining this gym after hearing a lot of hype, but honestly, over the $200/month price tag was a major red flag. On top of that, there’s an enrollment waiting list, which felt more like an artificial way to boost exclusivity than a genuine limitation.

Yes, the place looks sleek and high-end, but at that price, it should be. Still, no matter how fancy the equipment or polished the branding, it’s hard to justify spending over $3,000 a year on a gym membership — especially when there are plenty of great fitness options out there for a fraction of the cost.

It feels less like a place for health and more like a status symbol. Unless you’re in a high income bracket and don’t mind paying for the image, this isn’t a realistic or sustainable choice. I ended up walking away. My health matters, but so does financial sanity.

I love Lifetime and have been going regularly for several years now. The convenience of towel service, lockers, showers, razors etc makes the gym a great value. The outdoor pool in summer is amazing, and they heat the lap pool outside year round, which is awesome.

I made the leap and signed up with a trainer, because getting injured cost too much now, and it's one of the best things I've ever done for myself and my family. Joe Windsor is the right mix of fun, work and education. His knowledge of fitness and his dedication to his own fitness make him a perfect blend of coach, role model and trainer. Beautiful facility but it’s turned into a retirement home. I pay $291.00 a month and I can’t even take my son to play basketball. They have 1 basketball court now because the other side is used for pickleball (elderly sport). Why couldn’t lifetime convert one of the 1000 tennis courts to a pickleball court?! Please figure out a way to add more basketball courts.

12/29/24- updating my review because it’s really annoying that they closed 2 of the 4 basketball courts for pickleball. My rate went up again for 2025. Also, they run full court games so no one else can use 1 of the 2 remaining courts.

Unfortunately this gym has since gone down hill. The equipment is great and staff is so nice but the influx of teenagers past 6pm has given this gym a bad rep now. From being loud in the locker rooms and the sauna (in groups) to hogging equipment (still in groups), if you go after 6pm it’s essentially high school. I think the gym would benefit from a 21+ up type of membership system. I am canceling my membership due to this now becoming a high school locker room.

Stair Steppers, Elipticals and tread mills.🤷🏾‍♀️

Just give me some Arc Trainers and You will get your Five Star Rating..

We moved from Lawrenceville Ga and Sugarloaf Lifetime in Ga had EVERYTHING and somehow we are paying MORE in Charlotte for less equipment 🥴🥴🥴 Doesn’t make sense at all.. I mean it’s a nice facility.. it’s big and cute but when I come to the gym I need and want certain equipment..
Unfortunately this Gym is the “best” Charlotte has to offer for an active family of 4 who goes to the gym regularly..

But good grief have some variations with your equipment and at least put some Arc Trainers on the floor that you guys JUST remodeled (well almost completed).. I added a picture so the Owner of Lifetime would have a visual of what to order.. I’m so serious.. been a Lifetime member for 4 years now. My first review and it will not be my last .. You will not get the value or level of service expected at the price-point.We were two years. There are MANY treadmills that do not work properly and have NEVER been fixed. Overall attitude of staff is they are there to talk with friends and workout free and you are an inconvenience. Considering the fees are 10 to 15 times a place like planet fitness , what are we paying for? Broken machines? They have T shirts for sale`in the lobby. Green T shirt $79.00. They recently put in massage chairs, however at 327.00 a month my family can't use them. They are for people that pay more for the privilege. They are now remodeling to make room for more chairs no doubt. They removed 50 plus machines overnight. I asked if they were getting new treadmills? The front staff had no idea. I voiced my frustration. The person at the desk responded with a long YEAH. Like I know but what can we do it's the DMV right? After two years waiting for new machines and nicer people I canceled and bought my own treadmill for the cost of one month : )

Hello, we have been using this gym for 3 years. Our children have always loved Kids Academy. But now something terrible is happening. For a whole week now, mothers of little ones have been racing to leave their children in the Infant Room and at least go do a workout. Now the Infant Room is closed in the evenings, and in the morning it is impossible to sign up for it. We pay for a subscription for the whole family. But neither I nor my child can use the service. Today I had to stand with my baby and wait an hour for her to be taken to the Infant Room. This is a very unpleasant experience. At the reception we were told that they have no information at all that there are no people to look after the children at Kids Academy. Kids Academy said that there are no people who could look after the children. I would like the club management to know about this problem and solve it. And we could use this service again because we pay for it. Thank you.

Love the club, not the cost.

I've been working out at various gyms, aquatic centers, and the YMCA for years. While they all have great equipment for solo workouts, I needed something more to push past my plateau. Life Time's early morning (5:45 am) weight-lifting classes, led by Vickie and Stacey, and Lakshmi's Ashtanga yoga sessions have been fantastic for this. Their curated playlists are a nice touch too. 🤘😆🤘

However, after being laid off, I tried to switch to a single adult membership since my family primarily uses another gym. I was disappointed to find that the Waverly location is now "signature only," meaning the cost for just myself would be nearly the same as my OG two-adult membership at $260/month. This is frustrating as I haven't used a single signature feature in my five years at LT.

I realize there is maintenance and upkeep costs, but there should be a tiered approach to the pricing. I don't need any tennis, pickleball or basketball courts; no personal trainers; or the pool for that matter. I just want to lift, shred, sweat and stretch early in the morning.

While the Waverly Life Time club is a great place to work out, without an employer discount, it costs nearly 10× more than a standard big-box gym with similar equipment. The sauna and steam room are nice but comparable to those at the YMCA or MAC. I will say the child care program is by far the best of any gym I've been to. But once the kids hit 10-12 yo they complain about boredom unless they had basketball or free gym on the gymnastics equipment.

Overall, I enjoy Life Time, but the exuberant monthly expense is pushing me towards a more economical option.

Love the gym, hate the cost.

Toured this gym thinking that it would fit my needs more than my current club. It was FILTHY. I was disgusted by the locker rooms, bathrooms and main gym area. I asked our “tour guide” if that was how the gym was and he seemed to not notice any issue.
With the condition of the areas I could see I would never trust the food serving areas or the pool water to be sanitary. This place was appalling. I’ll be staying at my current club. Yuck.

I really wanted to love this gym. It's beautiful but EVERYTHING is an upsell. Not able to pick personal trainers. Stuck with the person at the "free class". First one didn't show up on time ever. Second one never provided plans/records of workouts promised. They work as independent contractors and so concerns are a HUGE hassle. When I complained, no one called back. Can never use pool for lap swimming. Published times are never accurate and only one lane guaranteed for inside and one for outside for a million members. Husband had health issue. Wanted to pause membership. Told we could but price would increase on my membership. When I noted my concerns, member staff smug and unhelpful. Only smirked and said well you can pause your membership. Everything is an upsell and classes are not classes just selling opportunities for training and 75% of the classes are additional fees or a time share sales style meet-up with a trainer. And with all that the fitness area is actually pretty small.

I come to the gym mostly to play basketball and when the little kids are running around on the courts it angers me because all I want to do is play basketball. The kids can go to any other place maybe like the tennis courts or the kids place? The gym is great for people who want to do cardio or lift but for basketball players it is very aggravating.

I have been lifetime member for several months, use clubs all over the country and always have great experience until today, Charlotte NC club is not upto the level of other clubs, not even close. Staff is confused, they have signs claiming available services but when you ask for those services they say “they have availability tomorrow”, take down the sign then! Third club is big but seems bigger than it is because it is two stories not three like most clubs I have visited. The collection of machines is large but only two types of elpitical machines, not the ones I am used to that are available at all the clubs I have been to so far. The place is clean like all locations visited but feels more like a LA Fitness than other locations, hope the locals are not paying as much as I am because if so they are getting ripped off.

Staff needs better training... I don't want to have a ptsd episode because some teenager with a authoritarian complex feels the need to harass me about where I'm watching my 9 year old on the water slide, or walking on the tread mill on a weekday afternoon before daycare opens and my PT session starts.
Do they really have nothing better to do?

I already had several locals with an Authoritarian complex's set my entire house on fire, murdering my dog and two cats. Destroy a $2000 window in another home, vandalize my car and leave a shredded child at play sign in my front yard.

I'm already exploring alternate summer camp because my daughter hates it after being physically assaulted, to the head(She wears hearing aids.. ) by some authoritarians child, and the teenage staff aren't equipped to deal with it. I need to start teaching her to not tell people I work for a bank..

Why am I paying $1260+ a month and can't even have access to SAFE environment or shade at the pool, is this the best charlotte has to offer?

I am writing to bring to your attention a concerning incident that occurred at the gym recently involving an overly aggressive and rude member Lee Harold.

On 5/26, while I was standing by the workout racks in the Alpha training area, I had an unfortunate encounter with a fellow gym member who was receiving personal training at the time with Coach Lee. Initially, the individual bumped into me without any acknowledgment or apology. I decided to let this pass, assuming it was accidental. However, shortly after, the same member shoulder-checked me deliberately, which I found to be extremely disrespectful and aggressive. I was also highly disappointed by the personal trainers response to the entire situation. ZERO apology at all and why couldn’t his client and him do the workout ( farmer carriers) in another direction or even just walk around? The group of people surrounding me where just as shocked as I was at how aggressive the member Lee Harold was and how poorly Coach Lee handled it . The gym this morning probably had 1/4 of the normal traffic that is usually does for 7 am.

I believe that the gym should be a safe and respectful environment for everyone. This individual's behavior not only disrupted my workout but also made me feel uncomfortable and uneasy. I kindly request that you address this matter promptly to ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future.

If the Alpha workout area has cameras I would even be delighted to even know if I could have handled the situation better?

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to a resolution that ensures the gym remains a positive and welcoming environment for all members.

I think lifetime is going so downhill, charging insane prices and increasing yearly, screwing over its members. Now you even have to pay for pool access. The strength section at this specific location is extremely small and packed. They do alpha classes right in the middle of it all, and other group classes in the cardio areas that are competing against each other for who can make the most noise and have the loudest music, and leaving zero space for anyone else. I had my membership here for a week and then went to YMCA. That says a lot

Everyone knows this is the most expensive gym around, and for the most part, it’s ok. However, they keep adding new things to the gym that require a signature membership which is another $60/mo. I’m already paying nearly $200/mo and now if I want to join in a self-directed pickleball session I need to pay $260/mo? I understand if there’s an instructor and it’s a clinic like they have with tennis, but you don’t need a signature membership to join the tennis classes. You just pay a one time fee and it’s lead by an instructor , so I get the fee. But come on, you guys already charge too much and every time you add a new feature to the gym, my $200/mo membership doesn’t cut it. I would say if you want to join this gym, be prepared to pay around $260/mo or whatever it is at the time for the signature membership. Otherwise, at every turn you’ll be denied access to all the cool stuff.

Disrespectful Pilates Instructors. I left a more in depth review on yelp about my experience at this particular location. In short, I left this program due to a disgruntled unhappy Instructor taunting me during group classes for no reason at all. I found it to be disrespectful, disturbing and unprofessional. Moreover, the management does nothing about it. So I left the Pilates program for about a year and thought I would return and take private and group classes with Nelly. Well, we met and made a schedule. She took a photo of my credit card and promised to delete it after she charged my card $625. She never charged my card… ( I hope she deleted my card) left the gym and then received a text that after our discussion she determined I wasn’t a good fit for the program. I wasn’t sure of what she meant and so I asked her to clarify since it didn’t make sense at all. I realize this is a retaliation from my prior experience. I can’t believe Life time allows employees to disrespect members. I am also a founding member. I have been at the gym longer than all the Pilates instructors as the original instructors are not there except for maybe 1. Even the other ladies in the old group classes would comment to me about the instructors treatment toward me. After sending numerous emails management covers it up and does nothing about it. And will not give me the email contact for the Regional Manager at the Corporate level. I cannot think of the other instructors name.. management can reference my emails if necessary. So disappointed in the Lifetime Brand.

Joined only for the pool. Day 21 of the new year and after repeated questions, the swim team schedule STILL doesn't show in the app. I've been told repeatedly it will be fixed to no avail. Apparently multiple people have complained yet it's not fixed. It feels like they don't want members to see how many hours the lap pools are not available to members even though we pay to use it.

Responding to Lifetime: The response by Lifetime to my review is not shocking to say the least, and goes so far as to even enhance my original complaint. THE APP IS WRONG. If you add Swimming as a filter, it does not show the swim team hours. Members as a result show up to swim and the lap pools (indoor and out) are occupied by the swim team. I have asked 4 times for this to be fixed. I have received calls from the front desk, pool manager, the front desk AGAIN, all stating that the issue has been fixed. After, I would log into the app and it still didnt show the swim team hours. How hard is it to actually log into your own mobile app and verify that it's working.

Correction: It is now actually working. It only took me publicly posting about it to get it resolved. Great customer service.
I will bump up my review from 1 to 2 stars.

New update: There are swim lessons taking place not showing up on the app. Either these are unsanctioned and taking up lanes or more issues with app/mgmt.

This gym was simply Elite! Definitely the best one I’ve been too and puts DOWD and LA fitness to shame 😂. Great equipment variety, everything was clean. The culture from staff to members were welcoming and friendly. Locker rooms were nice clean and the fact that you don’t have to bring your own lock is a nice touch, multiple pools and hottubs, friendly pickle ball and basketball community which immediately will get you friends if you are new to the area, multiple studios for a quiet moment or practice dance or whatever. All the ladies in the spa were nice and welcoming. Megan Taylor specifically in the spa was very knowledgeable and helpful to me with this being my first time coming to this gym, she made me instantly feel at home and all of the staff treated me well. The fact that this gym offers spa services is pretty unique as well, from hair care to full body massage I hadn’t seen anything quite like this! I will absolutely return to this Gym!!!

I've been a member at Life Time for several years now in various states, it is the best gym around. I recently moved to Charlotte and I am on a waitlist indefinitely at this lifetime location "to preserve the membership experience" is what I was told. The one day I was able to work out there the gym was basically empty so it did not make any sense there was a waitlist nor why they were charging $200+ a month. Whats worse is I told management I workout daily and I need a membership or atleast let me come in and work out in the mean time otherwise I will have to sign up at another gym; they basically told me too bad the answer is no. Now I am not sure I want to come back at all, would rather move again to an area that doesn't have such an awful location. As others have stated the equipment and amenities are worse than other locations but yet the membership price is double

As of the date of this review, the membership fee (for 1 adult) is $239/month. Please note they only offer month to month memberships, there is no option for an annual membership. This is insanely expensive. For comparison, the cost of similar types of gyms in the DC/northern Virginia area is under $200/month.

Further, this is easily the most unwelcoming gym I’ve ever visited. No day passes, no in-person tours for prospective members, and despite quoting me a membership fee, they’re not even accepting members. I’m unsure why they even have a website since it seems like they’re satisfied with the amount of customers they already have.

My family and I (4 people) have been members for several years, and ultimately I don’t think this club is worth the high cost. We pay $325 per month. The gym equipment is about the same as any YMCA, and the staff are not particularly nice and friendly. On multiple occasions my child never went to a program he was signed up for in their childcare-center because he didn’t hear his name called. I explained to them, if he is signed up for an activity, please make sure he gets to that activity… they say ‘ok no problem’, but than fail to get him to the activity he is signed up for. This is just negligence, and we pay too much to be treated like that. Also, the steam room is not functioning properly much of the time… this is because the club is full of rowdy youngsters who do all sorts of shenanigans in the men’s locker area… like putting wet toilet paper over the sensor in the steam room, which quickly overloads it and causes the steam room to stop working. The club does nothing about these sort of things. The smoothies at their cafe are absolutely disgusting, though some of the other food offerings are decent. All in all, you pay a premium price, but do not get a premium experience.

This Lifetime has diminished greatly in service. The front desk staff is horrible with the exception of Vinny. The facilities often have broken equipment, the bathrooms are dirty and they have been using body wash for soap for months. For the type of money they charge for membership they should have professional service and superb facilities but the service and gym is sub par. I only go there because the classes and instructors are good, I am totally rethinking this investment and would cautious new people from considering unless you are ok knowing not to expect much or you will mostly utilize the classes more than anything else. My son can never play basketball because they always have leagues so its a waste to pay for him to be a member. If the cost were lower I wouldn't complain but for over the cost, the service and facilities don't equate.

Thought it couldn’t get any worse but I was wrong. Most overcrowded dump I have ever seen. Broken machines everywhere, the Bball court is closed the entire summer for camp. Kids academy closes from 1-4 everyday, it used to be open 8-8 but they’re too cheap to do that anymore. Hot tubs constantly out of service. The list goes on and on. EQUINOX, HEALTH AND RAQUET, REEBOK CLUB OR SERIOUSLY ANYONE ELSE—PLEASE PLEASE OPEN UP A COMPETING TRUE HIGH END CLUB NEARBY. YOU WILL HAVE NO PROBLEM GETTING MEMBERS. This place is a joke. Even the employees that work there will tell you, this place is going downhill fast. They are publicly traded now and we all know what that means. The club over all is nice but the kids care hours are still reflecting when they had to limit the club to a certain capacity because not all members were coming or able to.

Edit: they adjusted to limited hours again a few months back, now it’s every morning from 8-1 or 2 then they close and only reopen Monday thru Thursday in the afternoon. It makes it really hard to be able to come when they’re closed in the middle of the day everyday and don’t reopen at all Friday thru Sunday. I’m only visiting but I have to say, my *much* cheaper gym at home (another state), has a much better weight lifting section. For example, the layout here make no sense whatsoever & everything is cramped. Really the only good thing is the number of squat racks they have, but then they barely have enough benches (and again, they’re super close to one another). Another thing that grinds my gears is that the sauna is so bright & super small, especially considering the # of people who go here at a time. To end on a positive note, everything they provide in the locker rooms are super convenient & helpful - such as towels, make up remover wipes, deodorant and that alike.

Called to get some pricing and met by a lot of indifference and rigidness by the guy I spoke with. Told him I had just started a business (money is tight) and was asking if there were any deals and he was fairly curt and dismissive. Not saying he was a bad guy, but for the money that they're asking, you would think they'd be trained to be a bit more courteous. When you answer a phone, you're representing the company on all levels. I wasn't looking for a "free meal", but a little politeness would have been nice.

Along with the typical weight lifting areas and nautilus equipment, the men's locker room, showers, and bathrooms are kept in pristine condition. I highly recommend anyone interested in an incredible facility, sign up. The minimum membership is about $150 a month, from what I've been able to determine. Превосходный музей, богатая коллекция. Благодарю отдельно, что есть гардероб. Не очень просто разобраться без карты, поэтому при входы на стойке возьмите карту

I visit LTF locations in many different states. This club is exceptionally well laid out and appointed. I love the open spaces are great for catching up on work while traveling for business. Great job guys!

The club is fine. But I wanted to give a perspective on their ruthless sales practices.

My sister, a fresh immigrant, signed up to the club on my recommendation. Her English is very basic. When signing up, she was offered a personal trainer class which is heavily marketed as “free”. She felt like it was “free free”, and, not having yet been exposed into the classical “free trial that we all hope you will forget to cancel” sales model before, she started taking classes. Three (3) times a week. Of course, the first bill at the end of the month was a shock - $1,800. She called her trainer and realized the harsh reality. She said that she can’t afford to pay that much, and she needs to cancel. Guess what happened next? Correct: sorry, advance notice cancellations only. So here goes her second month. And another $1,800 bill. By this time 2/3 of her savings are gone. She calls the club again and asks why was she hit with the bill - and the advance notice explanation was given. Fine, she thinks, at least now it’s done. Nope. Third month - another $1,800. Reason? Miscommunication with the trainer. Who’s at fault? Of course the client.

When I tried to help and call the club we couldn’t locate her trainer. It appears he left the club. The supervisor was somewhere in Los Angeles and he couldn’t help either. The club said it’s between the client and the trainer.

To me it’s just wrong. Yes, read the fine print, you will say. But how about start looking at your clients as a bit more as just a sales opportunity to hit the month targets?

I am sad to have to come here and hope my concern will be addressed. I love Lifetime and the people who work here. I cannot seem to get anyone to see the state of the both ladies’ rooms. There is hair and toilet paper and many other unmentionable issues with the bathrooms at all times of the day. I’ve spoken with 3 people at the front desk and emailed twice asking for simple wipedown and mop in the ladies toilet and shower areas MORE OFTEN . I have to plan to use the bathroom at home before coming to work out. It’s not being addressed even when kindly asked for. I love going to lifetime but may have to think about a different option.
