Love this place! Usually when I go it is pretty empty which is nice. All the weights and machine stay clean and the outside area is clean too. Various machines for ever muscle you could think of and if there is ever anything you don't know how to do the owner chad will do his best to help out when he is around. This gym gives off old style gym feel with pictures of famous lifters on the wall and famous quotes it's pretty cool I'd say. The only thing id have to say that I somewhat don't like about this place is there pricing might be thought of as high to some people but I'd have to say for what you get it is decently reasonable.

Best gym ever! Love that you can come anytime you want cause its open 24hrs and with my schedule that makes it so convenient. They have so many machines and tons of free weights. The staff and owner are so amazing and helpful. They really do go above and beyond for you. As someone who just recently started to work out its so nice to have staff that you feel comfortable to ask questions about how to use certain machines. I love this place! So thankful I switched to this gym!

Other than the horrible perfume smell in the little work out area the shady practice of charging for 5 yes count them 5 months after submitting a request to cancel should keep you away. The " boss" is out of town he will call you. Nope never returns calls. You have to cxl via the web that never sends a confirmation of cancellation. You call every month fill out the form every month but they never cancel your membership. Then when you call them on the carpet about 5 months of charges they say you have to come in and fill out more paper work. And they will be charging you for yet another 30 days.
Be warned it seems like a huge scam to me.

First in 24/7 and still no annual fees. We are a smaller gym with more equipment options than any other facility in the area. Our staff is great and our members are even better. Of course we may not be everyone's cup of tea but when most people come in for a tour they seem to like it better than big box gyms.

so i joined the gym on short notice in jan. stayed for a few months found out it just wasnt for me so i asked how i can cancel my membership and did so 3 times i have proof which is why the bank is filing disputes. I posted on there page about the problems and i got called a deadbeat for it cause i wanted to cancel my membership and they are still charging me to this day. i thought this was very unfair especially after i did do the cancellation they asked me to do.

So this was a great gym, but unfortunately there is very poor customer service by the owner. The day to day employees were always very helpful. So you sign a year contract and about 6 months later you move away from the area. So I obviously understand the contract is for a year but because I’m moving and not in the area often I go ahead and sign the cancellation documents so I am out of the contract at the 1 year mark. Being a responsible person when the year is a few weeks from up I go back to the gym and confirm my cancellation is in place. Then I continue to get drafted for payment the following month. This draft is because apparently you are drafted an extra 30 days after cancellation?? Well the cancellation form signed was in May 2017, supposed to cancel in January 2018-12 month contract right. Yet I’m drafted again in February 2018. No refund, no customer service, just a comment that when I signed the cancellation and dated it in May 2017 it wasn’t my intention to cancel....why would I sign it then. LOL. Out of the hundred or so times I visited the gym I never once saw the owner. I called 4 times over the past month or so and only the last time was my call returned... he couldn’t talk when I called because he was too busy working out!! Incredible!! I never missed a payment or anything, I promoted his new business in the community to friends and at the end of the day, he didn’t care. It’s not about the money it’s about customer service and asking yourself why would someone cancel a membership 7 months before the end of the contract by signing and dating form. According to the owner it’s because I had intention on canceling. SMH

Very friendly with a non judgmental type of environment. It's also very nice to be able to go to the gym when you feel like it. Let's face it, it's tough to try to get back to the gym or keep in shape. The last thing you need is a reason not to go because the gym isn't open. I love this place and have been a member since it's opening.

Lifters is Great it is the only gym to offer 24 hour access and the best rates around. And with locations in Albemarle and Locust it's hard to beat. Also the staff and owner are very friendly, the equipment is nice and kept running and everyone is made to feel welcomed.

Website says no contracts and 25 for one person, 45 for two. Got up there (Locust location) to see about a membership and it absolutely is a contract for 35 a month. Plus a 50 dollar fee to join, which is normally 100. I'll keep my PF membership and save the money....their advertising isn't misleading, the staff is friendlier, and also open 24hrs.

Lifters Gym is the first gym that I enjoy going to , being a woman whose over weight I feel more at ease than anywhere else they are truly a judge free community , the staff is super friendly and helpful and you're not intimidated by the people you see at "big corporations". I used to go to gold's gym and would never go back. Thanks guys for being awesome ☺💪
