Did my very first yoga class ever. I chose this place due to the ratings and glad I listened. Did restorative yoga on 11-14-25. Will be coming back for sure.

The classroom in the studio, tea and relaxation room, prop room and teaching area in the classroom.
This was my third class in as many days at my new favorite local yoga studio. I feel right at home at this wonderful little gem of a yoga & wellness studio in a wonderful, tucked away part of town. I have taken 3 different classes here (so far) and this is probably my favorite one. It is a nice, slow, grounding yoga class that lets you get into various poses while fully supported by different props (bolster, blanket, blocks) when needed. The teacher was lovely and I look forward to taking another yin yasa (yin vinyasa) class with her next week.

This was not a safe or supportive learning environment, and I do not recommend Lucky Elephant for yoga teacher training.
I completed my 200-hour YTT at Lucky Elephant Yoga and Wellness in November 2024 with Bridget, the studio owner and sole teacher. While she is knowledgeable and the program covered core elements of yoga, the delivery did not embody the trauma-informed values it promised. Instead, the teaching style left little room for collaboration, questions, or individual exploration. The environment often felt fear-based and intimidating rather than supportive and empowering. Constructive feedback and encouragement were rare, which made it difficult to build confidence or feel safe making mistakes as a student teacher.
When I asked how to offer feedback at the end of training, I received no response and no channels were offered. This silence reflected a broader pattern throughout the 5-month training where student input was neither welcomed nor encouraged. Several students expressed similar concerns, which reinforced the impression that student voices were not valued.
I do not wish to cause harm; I share this from a place of truth, with the intention of helping others make informed choices before investing their time, energy, and money. Therefore, I cannot recommend Lucky Elephant. I hope you can find a YTT that values humility, empathy, and student growth.

I love the Lucky Elephant studio community so much! The people here are so cheerful and welcoming. The teachers are wonderful, with deep knowledge and a ton of experience to share. This is truly a "come as you are" studio - there are classes for all levels; all shapes, sizes and experience levels are welcome. For anyone who wants to learn more about yoga, there are excellent workshops as well as a teacher training course that introduces concepts like anatomy and alignment, meditation and breath work, and advanced practices like arm balances and inversions. 💜

Casey's yoga classes are the best in the Raleigh/Cary/Apex area. Every pose has an intention, which is to prepare you for the next pose. Casey's descriptions are thoughtful and deliberate - I barely have to look up to know what the current pose is. Casey's classes leave me set up for the week ahead - Highly recommend.

Annalise is such an amazing teacher - every time I leave her yin yasa class I feel as though I’ve had a full body massage … stretched and limber and relaxed. Her teaching style feels like she is giving you a loving supportive hug. I highly recommend this class for anyone - from beginner yogis to those with years long practices. It’s a gem.

Excellent studio, clean and well kept! Most importantly, the classes are true to Yoga's roots while also being accessible for all levels. The variety of class options is amazing also, plenty of gentle Yoga, Yin, Yoga Basics, Restorative, as well as more active classic flow and more challenging practices! The teachers emphasize keeping students safe while exploring and deepening their practice.

It was a magical experience, one I cannot wait to do again soon! I wasn't sure what to expect in this environment as was quite anxious entering. I left with a heart full of peace and gratitude.
The restorative yoga for winter solstice was also fabulous.

The Yoga Alliance Teacher Training and the Yoga here have changed my life. The training has extensive workshops in anatomy, meditation, pranayama, koshas, asana, arm balances, inversions, adjustments, sequencing, and more all taught in a compassionate and trauma-informed lens that inspired me in a permanent way. Thru these workshops I have made friendships, increased my self worth and confidence, and deepened my knowledge in a way that makes me so excited to share with others. Most of all, I have fallen back in love with the Yoga Practice and have found a way to further love myself.

The Lucky Elephant provides quality classes like nothing I’ve ever experienced. I frequently attend Annalise’s classes. I’ve learned so much in such a short time which has really helped deepen my practice. She incorporates yogic philosophy, mantras, and prioritizes a (mind, body, spirit) connection throughout the entire class. My form has also improved while attending classes at the Lucky Elephant thanks to their prompt guidance. So much appreciation 🙏

So glad Lucky Elephant opened in our area! Every teacher and class is unique and they're all wonderful. I learn so much from each class... I've experienced slow and steady, higher energy, basics, and intermediate/advanced... Every time I come away glad I went and feeling more settled in my body and mind (which is what I need!) and ready to bring that back home and into the world.

Their new student pass is a screaming good deal at only $25 for 2 weeks of unlimited classes. I made the most of it, attending 9 classes in that time. I tried and enjoyed gentle yoga, classic flow-all levels, intermediate/advanced, yin and restorative yoga. The space is charming, the teachers are friendly and helpful, and the restorative class is just the thing everyone needs at the end of the week. I’m looking forward to future classes.

After years of gym yoga, this studio has been somewhat life-changing for me. Lucky Elephant creates a welcoming environment, with highly-trained instructors who are very knowledgeable about the human body, offer lots of suggestions for how to customize your practice for your body, and truly believe that yoga is for everyone. I've tried almost every class they offer, and they are all amazing!

Be careful if you look for Yoga.
This “teacher” Bridget charged me 500$ for deposit, plus 420$ tuition BEFORE the Training starts and then she just never showed up again. She just cut me off communication.
She was so busy, couldn’t answer the email she asked me to send, or send me the class schedule, or anything related to the training.
“Why you didn’t called me?”
- I don’t know Bridget, maybe because you didn’t answer?
Before the training, she was so available and open to adapt the training, so I could join. She was always sending me emails about… payment this and that. So kind and helpful!
After I paid, and then, she got so busy!
So I decide to withdraw and ask her the refund.
Her answer: “ I have to see, the credit card fees, your money went somewhere else”.
I am sure it went Bridget, for sure that money went somewhere else, for sure it DIDN’T GO for my training!!
And she has the nerve to say that she teaches AUTHENTIC Yoga.
Very authentic.
Except for ASTEYA, non stealing, the 3 yama described by Patanjali. Basic class, I think she missed.
I have more than 1000 hours of Yoga Teacher Trainings, 10 years of Yoga in the US and I have met wonderful people. I never met not even 1 single person, teacher or owner dishonest like her, or even close.
