I’ve been a member at Madabolic for about 3 months now and absolutely love it. I was skeptical at first since I hadn’t worked out in a gym for years, but I’m so glad I made the jump. The workouts are challenging but structured, the coaches are motivating, and I’ve already noticed real improvements in my strength and overall health. Great gym with top notch trainers. They are very knowledgeable, and every workout is unique, designed with purpose, and attention to detail. Their workouts are adaptable for all fitness levels, with varying intensity depending on your experience and what you’re looking for.

Overall, lots of variety so it never gets boring. Everything you do in each workout is with purpose. Even the warmups are designed to prepare you for that specific workout for the day. 10/10 would recommend

After 4 months at what is without a doubt the best group fitness gym in Charlotte, Madabolic is hands down the best workout experience I’ve ever had. If you’re looking for high-caliber results that go beyond just fitness, this is the place to be. The programming is designed to build broader functional fitness and athleticism, making you stronger, faster, and more capable in every aspect of life.

The results speak for themselves—commit to coming just 4 days a week, and you’ll see incredible changes in your strength, endurance, and overall performance. It’s not just about the workouts, though. The trainers and owners are truly exceptional.

They’re not only knowledgeable and motivating but also genuinely care about every member’s success. They go above and beyond to create a supportive, welcoming environment that pushes you to be your best.

If you're looking for a workout that challenges you, motivates you, and keeps you coming back for more, MADabolic in Southend is IT! From the moment I walked in, Alex and Jody made me feel so welcome and gave me a fantastic introduction to their training classes in Charlotte, NC. They really took the time to explain the structure, the purpose behind the programming, and how it all ties into building strength and endurance.

The value of this type of training is unmatched. It's not just about burning calories; it's about building a stronger, more capable version of yourself. The workouts are intentional, the coaches are knowledgeable, and the vibe is just electric. Plus, the community here is incredible, and you will see this right away. Everyone is so supportive and encouraging, no matter where you are in your fitness journey.

If you're thinking about joining, do yourself a favor and commit to the 12-month membership. It’s the best investment you can make in your health and fitness. And just to be clear- no one asked me to write this review. I’m just genuinely impressed and excited to be part of the MADabolic family and get back in shape.

As a Plus Size girl gym-timidation can be emotionally draining and frustrating. I felt comfortable and empowered here. The trainers treated me with respect and consideratio! I really appreciated that. I received an attentive hands on experience by Alex via a 50 min full body workout. I love that MADabolic’s flexible and fun interpretation of interval-driven strength training allows you an intense full body workout that gets your heart rate consistently up and keeps you engaged with endless possibilities!

I took a Momentum class. It gradually builds in intensity. The Focus is on athleticism & endurance where the pace was 6 rotations (2 each of 70% > 80% > 90% off weight limits) on 6 different stations. Let's just say you can feel the burn; especially by the 4th round! I also got adjust positions based on my flexibility and limitations. I like to give it 100% so I didn't change too much.

Alex also gave me great suggestions how to use what I learned at home on non gym days. The venue is open and has a large breath of equipment to help you focus on training your core while you do a full workout that pushs your limits. I definitely appreciated the experience! I'm going to put those FSA/HSA Dollars to use!

Best class-based workout in Charlotte in my opinion. Professional instructors who taught me correct form and continuously gave tips and corrections. The only reason I left is because I moved out of the city and it was such a tough goodbye! The classes are a good mix of gender and ages, the instructors all have a different energy but the same attention to detail and dedication to the attendees.

It's expensive but if you're looking for high quality equipment, good variety, and results within a couple of months, it's very worth it.

Alex and Aly do a great job managing the Southend location, they make it very welcoming. I've heard great things about other locations too!

I have had an excellent time at MADabolic! I have taken 5 classes so far and I am very impressed by the staff and the culture they deliver. Down to earth, real and to the point. No "bro" culture, no off the wall exercises or attempts to artificially differ themselves with complexity.
The staff is supportive but also willing to give you constructive feedback on what you are doing wrong. I really enjoy working out here and recommend this franchise for those who want to get in shape with a regiment, directed by a group of solid and knowledgeable individuals!

I’ve just started back into my fitness journey again and chose to do that at Madabolic South End. Alex reached out to me and offered some free classes to drop in and went ahead and scheduled everything for me. Very easy. She was communicative throughout everything and on my first day Coach Aly was waiting right there when I walked in. She knew I was coming, went over what to expect and then went right into the workout. The pace and instruction is exactly what I was looking for - they have a program that varies and mixes up throughout the month what you’ll be doing from intensity to deloading to allow recovery, yet still get a good workout in. So important! At the end of the class, Aly went over the program with me, answered any questions and signed me up for my next trail class. Again super helpful.

By the end of the 2nd class I signed up.

I’ve met 2 coaches so far, Aly and Jay, and they both were both great and involved; explaining/demoing the workout at the start and then walking around throughout the class, helping with movements and ensuring you’re doing them properly - to get the most out of it and avoid injury! Everyone made me feel right at home and I’m looking forward to getting into it full swing. Getting back into a gym can feel intimidating, but I was at ease from the get go. Full props for running a great facility with knowledgeable coaches!

Been going for years. Took breaks a few times and even split workout programs while going to MAD. I always came back though because their focus on coaching proper form and technique was unmatched. Many places have trainers that encourage but stops there. MAD makes sure all their team coaches proper technique and helps you understand the "why". The workouts are always tough. I was visiting Charlotte and had the opportunity to take Sophie's class. She was so warm and welcoming! Sophie was motivating and energetic- she also provided helpful cues to improve my form. The gym is a great place to workout- super clean and well maintained and in a location with many other businesses around- I was able to grab a coffee after class at the coffee shop around the corner! MADabolic has completely turned around my lifestyle for the better! There's definitely a bit more of a pep in my step these days. Not only do the consistent high intensity workouts naturally energize me, it's the environment too. The team at both South End and Elizabeth locations perform at 100% every class, making it so easy to hype myself up too! I love everything about MADabolic and recommend it to everyone I know! For years, I was solely a gym hopper/Classpass user because I liked to mix up my workouts/didn't feel like I could get the full-body workout I needed that offered both cardio and strength training from one studio...until I found MADabolic in 2021. I'm now a member, and couldn't be happier. Not only has it transformed my body like no other workout, but it's also a perfect blend of challenge and fun.

Last but not least, all of the coaches are INCREDIBLE! Not only are they great, supportive coaches that clearly know what they're doing and truly care about making sure each person feels seen and is working out safely, but they're also all just so genuine, down-to-earth and funny! Everything they do is systematic- I used to hate working out.. now I CRAVE IT - Another life changing -I also used to say that I was the opposite of ‘a morning person’ (even though I have a six year old and sevenyear old and a full-time Monday through Friday job that starts at 8 AM that could care less 😆) and I loathed waking up each and every morning- the sound of my alarm made me cringe. Having a physical disability, I have always felt fitness professionals were apprehensive to challenge or provide me tips for a specific exercise (outside out of a 1:1 sessions I had years back). MADabolic trainers were the first to ever do this for me in my 17 years of working out. Huge fan of this place! I love the instructors, the music, the stations and the movement. There is a planned schedule and the fitness instructors are so knowledgable with their demonstrations and coaching through out the work out. I don’t know how y’all do it, but if the class has 5 people or 25 people, the training staff sees EVERYTHING! It’s commendable. I 100% appreciate the correction, and the nod when I do get it right. The fact that the trainers know who you are, what you’d like to focus on/improve/fine tune and check in to help you get there is awesome. Definitely nice to walk in to a space of respect and knowledge, and continually see personal growth. Extra credit to those that offer killer playlists that hit at just the right time on those "extra fun" days! Madabolic is the best gym I've ever been to!! It is so focused on getting stronger and ensuring safe movements. The instructors give you a demo, but then they watch and correct your form when needed. Medabolic is the best strength training I have done in a long time! Listen. I’ve been around trainers, coaches, teachers since I was a kid for football. It’s always been about lifting as much weight as possible and being as fast as possible. Madabolic’s experience is top notch. I don’t have much to compare to class wise but I didn’t feel the need to look elsewhere. I’ve realized that at the level of football I was at, they’re starting to tailor their workouts and fitness science more in the direction of the coaches and regimen at MAD. Which speaks volumes. I’ve already learned a bunch, fixed some technique errors, and feel great everyday. It’s a class that can push you with its workouts alone, but what makes it so great is the community and members that push you along with it.
