He's seriously the best trainer I've worked with, super knowledgeable and actually takes the time to explain everything instead of just rushing through exercises. Love how he breaks down each movement and shows you exactly how to get the most out of it. The gym is always clean and has all the equipment you need. I went into this gym with not very high expectations. I was hesitant to reveal all my injuries and was embarrassed to talk about how much I let myself go. I was matched with Charles, and he was so patient and made me feel so comfortable. I couldn't believe that this was what a good trainer was supposed to be. Matt Johnson has to be Wilmington's best training studio. The team of trainers there are friendly and knowledgeable, and the environment is so cool.

One of the best experiences I've had with a trainer. Charles has set the bar very high as trainers are concerned. Anything less won't be good enough. I have had many up and downs with trainers and no place had really catered to the needs of my physical limits until i found this place. Thank God I found this studio.

This gym has great equipment including squat racks, benches, dumbbells, kettlebells, cables, etc. The trainers are very knowledgeable of different programs that work for different goals. Been going to Matt’s personal training gym for a few months. I initially signed up as a complete beginner in the gym with tons of muscle imbalances and low endurance. I was set up with Charles, who was the prefect trainer for me. I absolutely loved working with Charles, he was very attentive, motivating, and broke everything down scientifically. The first day he had a brief assessment of all my issues and overall goals and I immediately could tell he knew what he was talking about as he pretty much gave me the same assessment as my Physical therapist I had gone to a few weeks ago. I told him that I am a complete beginner and he was very cognizant and understanding of this, progressing me slowly but surely. He is very personable and easy to work with but also knows how to motivate you to push yourself. He values proper form/quality over quantity and also helped me with proper stretching techniques, nutrition and products like foam rollers that may help me with my training. Finally, he went above and beyond even keeping in touch on off days to text me exercises when I asked him. He really cares and wants to see you succeed. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with MJP and Charles and recommend this for anyone at any level of fitness. Thank you guys for starting me on a life long fitness journey the right way!

I started with Matt and Morgan after an intense surgery. They worked hard to make sure I didn't injure myself while helping me build the core strength I need. It is a great gym and workouts are customized to the individuals needs and all issues of well being are addressed such as diet along with exercise. They are flexible with their scheduling and are very helpful when life sends curve balls. I highly recommend this gym if you are looking for expert instruction from an entire team.
