Where do I begin with my MEGA journey!?

I started off by only working out two days a week at MEGA right around July 4 of 2024.
As of today, October 28th 2025 I’m in the gym 5 days a week.

My body was burnt out after doing 8 years of Burn Boot camp… add in a few injuries, at 33 I was trying to find something to keep me in shape while not missing out on the group workout formats that I love so much

What I came to quickly realize was there WAS a studio that could keep me in tiptop shape. PLUS- MEGA gave me 3 different types of classes to pick from in my membership. Not only that, but you get a monthly guest passes depending on your membership which = Saturday morning workouts with your besties!

In short- this gym has helped me stay in incredible shape. I’ve completely stepped out of my comfort zone by trying the tramp and tone class…(which I religiously attend now 2x a week) Anddddd sprinkled in between a few zen moments in the MEGA mat classes.

If you’re on the fence give it a try- I promise you won’t be disappointed!!!

I was introduced to Mega last year, and joining the studio is easily one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. The classes are challenging, fun, and filled with the friendliest members. Every instructor is incredibly helpful and encouraging. I had never tried reformer Pilates and was hesitant initially, but Mega is the best place to learn and fall in love with it! I also cannot get enough of their traditional Pilates mat classes. I always leave feeling energized and glad I showed up. I recommend Mega to anyone looking for a welcoming atmosphere to learn from some of the most talented teachers in the area! You will be hooked! :)

Honestly I have been meaning to leave a review! I just want to say I loveeeeee Mary Elizabeth she is so warming and welcoming and her classes are amazing! She is such a bright light and makes my day every time I see her! this place is far for me but I make the effort of going because seeing everyone there not only helped my physical health but my mental health! Not to mention I now have abs!! This is definitely Pilates on steroids but it’s lagree! And it’s way better than normal Pilates best workout ever! I love this place and Alicia is amazing too. My two favorite girls. I have only been a member for a year I believe but my physique and mental health have improved significantly. Thank you for being so kind, warm and welcoming even when a workout like this can be so intimidating also thank you for making the effort to know our names!

This is by far my favorite place to work out. Their Lagree classes are amazing and every instructor i've had is extremely helpful. The owner of the place is very hands on with making sure you have the correct form which is crucial to this workout. Highly recommend Mega!!!

I love mega. I have arthritis and muscle spasms at 28 and finding low impact workouts that help my body see results is really challenging. I love the mega former and mega mat classes, I can modify as I go and I don’t feel the need to keep up with everyone else. I’ve been going for 2 months now and my strength and endurance has increased, and I’m seeing results! I can’t wait to continue. Plus, all of the instructors are so kind, no pretentious vibes at all! I have been coming to Mega for about a year and a half and it remains my favorite exercise studio in Raleigh! I used to switch up studios pretty frequently because I would get bored of doing the same thing, but Mega's variety of classes always keeps it interesting! Whether you're in the mood for cardio or toning (or both with the half-and-half classes), there is always something available. The instructions are excellent and it's such an inviting, fun and encouraging atmosphere! Plus, the studio is always impeccably clean. Definitely give it a try!

I so love the recently introduced Mega Mat classes at MEGAformer. Alicia (owner/coach) and Morgan (studio manager/coach) both bring extensive classical Pilates mat background and training to their coaching of these classes. Highly recommend as a cross-training addition to your current fitness workout or as a stand-alone. If you are just beginning your fitness journey, this is the place to start!

“Pilates with a MEGA spin” is what the coaches call it. What that means is the mat is as challenging and hard as anything you can do on a reformer! A thoughtful sequencing of poses focusing on arm, legs, and core, with exceptional coaching. Their instructions on proper form, when to breathe, what muscles to engage, are ongoing. They bring such positive energy to all their classes. And no class is exactly the same, so always interesting, with new poses being added.

The studio space is really cool, black with neon lights. And the music selection is fun and motivating, the beat helping with your timing.

Since taking both MEGAformer and MEGA mat classes I have seen substantial gain in my balance and flexibility, but especially my core strength. I also do F45 and when we do multiple sets of exercises focusing on engaging and tiring out the core, I can now complete them without pausing, at a good pace. Pretty sure this is all MEGA!!!

Highly recommend you give it a try. You will love the coaches, the workout, the insanely positive and friendly studio vibes, and the inspiring work ethic other members bring with them.

The instructors are very professional and encouraging. I’ve been attending for the past several months and it only takes two classes to feel that your muscles are transforming. I love doing all of the classes: megamat, 1/2 combo class, megaformer and tramp. Megamat is a great way to start if you haven’t worked out in a long time and every beginner feels a little awkward on the megaformer. Having done Pilates for most of my adult life, I was thrilled to take it up a notch on the Megaformer. However, I was even more thrilled when they started offering their Mega Mat classes! Absolute greatest workout ever. It's the hardest yet the safest exercise out there. I have serious back issues, but because of the pace (time over tension!), I can accommodate for them and feel stronger than I ever can in other strength classes. Alicia and her teachers are incredible, with fantastic energy that keep you engaged and excited throughout the classes. I was a little nervous to try this workout for the first time, as I had gained a lot of COVID weight and was no longer in peak shape. From the second I arrived, the instructors and other participants were so welcoming and kind, and once the music started, I didn’t think twice about my fitness level. Everyone was just moving to the beat, breaking a sweat and having fun while doing it. This is an AWESOME workout at a facility with great vibes. Truly one of the most enjoyable forms of exercise I’ve ever done, and I’ve tried just about everything. Run, don’t walk, to try a class. You won’t be disappointed.

I have never stuck to a gym or workout program like I have with Mega. Walking in, you immediately feel the energy and are greeted by trainers who inspire, challenge and cheer you on. Never once have I felt intimidated or disappointed by any class and love that I laugh, smile and truly enjoy the workout.

45 min goes FAST and I did class throughout my entire pregnancy and literally until the day I went to the hospital. It truly helped my core, pelvic floor and confidence for having a baby and after. It is an awesome opportunity to focus on yourself and thank your body for all it can do. Plus, all my friends go here so we push each other and hold one another accountable- win win!

This is by far my favorite workout and studio!!! This workout is the first one to really change my body and is the only workout that gets to certain muscle groups I have not been successful in targeting otherwise. The studio has such an amazing vibe as well - amazing instructors, positive people, fun atmosphere, always good music and honestly a fantastic community!!! The standard pilates reformer classes were just not my jam. This machine is so easy to navigate and learn (e.g. reformer is very intimidating for me) and who knew it could do so much!!!!! This review is SO overdue. I have been attending classes at Mega since January 2020. I have never actually looked forward to going to the gym before, but I love waking up for my 6am classes at Mega. Megaformer classes are exhausting in the best way, and I always leave feeling really accomplished (and sore for days). Mega tramp classes are so much fun and a great way to start your morning. And all of the instructors bring their own flair to every class, so you will never have the same class twice! I'm not particularly coordinated, but I have never felt out of place or judged. I love Mega, Alicia, and all of the wonderful instructors who keep me toned, fit, and happy.

Fabulous boutique fitness studio that I highly recommend. From the high-engergy, killer (but in a good way) cardio tramp class to the high-yield megaformer class that packs a punch, I am officially a MEGA devotee! I've been taking both the tramp and megaformer classes consistently for the last six months and I am seeing ALL THE RESULTS - my core and legs are definitely stronger, I'm more flexible and my overall balance has improved. This studio is the best! I love that they have options for both cardio (the trampoline class) and strength training (the Lagree reformers). Here is a short breakdown on why I love this studio:

Instructors- they make the class IMO and all of the instructors at Mega know how to motivate you to push yourself a little harder without making you feel bad. They are mindful of injuries and open to requests if you would like to focus on arms, legs or a specific move etc. The workouts are always hard even if you go to class frequently. All the instructors have a different style so there is something for everyone.

Trampoline- I hate all forms of cardio with a passion but I genuinely look forward to the trampoline class. The class is fun and no matter how hard the moves seem to be, you are guaranteed a good workout. It can look a little intimidating at first but everyone is just having a blast in there and the energy is great. You always leave dripping in sweat and in such a good mood.

Reformer - the trampoline is fun but the reformer is where you put in WORK! The reformer class is a full body workout that really works your core. All of the movements are slow and focused, which leaves you literally shaking during the workout. This class really helps you tone up and you feel so much stronger.

If you are on the fence about trying a class, you should do it- you won’t regret I promise!

I absolutely love this place! The instructors are all so fun and super cute and fit, which is some great motivation. The megaformer classes are hard but the time goes fast and I feel stronger after every class! The trampoline class is harder than it looks but really gets your heart rate up! It's also way more fun than running, especially in the heat! I've never really liked any workout this much and find myself being way more consistent because of that! Overall 10/10 love this place!

This is the ONLY workout that I never get tired of. In fact, the days I don’t have a megaformer class I wish I did. It’s a tough workout but give it 3-4 classes and you will start to see substantial results (the good kind) in your strength, balance, endurance, etc. All of the instructors are amazing - tough, encouraging, caring, energetic. I could go on and on. If you want to quickly build strong, lean muscles then this is a workout you’ll want to try. The trampoline classes are a great cardio workout and also very fun and addictive.

How to start a public review of a workout studio that is really better framed as a love letter??? All jokes aside, it does not get any better than MEGA, Alicia and all of the incredible instructors that teach here. I have been coming to this studio since they opened earlier this year and rave about it to anyone that will listen. As a former avid long distance runner who has been battling an injury for years, it was near impossible to find a workout that was challenging, delivered the same level of adrenaline high and didn’t aggravate existing issues. I found that in MEGA and more. Not only have I never been so toned, I literally crave working out here several times a week. To sweeten the pot, the environment is super warm and welcoming to all fitness levels and I pretty much want to make Alicia, Brooks, Andrea and Holli my new best friends. I travel quite a bit and have been to several other Lagree studios. I will tell you this - not one holds a candle to MEGA.

TL/DR: Grab your girlfriends or significant other and RUN to give MEGA a shot.

Since I had hip surgery, I’ve struggled with finding something low impact that I love and this is finally it! Seriously, I normally loathe classes, am a total spaz and typically count the minutes on the clock. This is legit a hard (and FUN!) workout and Alicia and her crew @themegaworkout are THE best! Seriously the most fun I’ve had working out in a long time. The instructors are passionate, inspiring and hard working all while kicking your booty into shape!

Ya'll this place is amazing and this comes from someone who teaches group fitness classes and is very peculiar and the TRAMP classes woahhhh you will leave feeling like a rockstar. Honestly anyone can do these workouts they are very low impact. If you can walk you can crush that trampoline. It's like a dance class but way more fun. I can honestly say I think I have had every instructor in less than a month as a member and each is as amazing as the one before. Their energy is vibrant in class and they empower students to be stronger and better with every class. Do not be intimidated by the fact that it's one of a kind in Raleigh and that you may not have done these forms of exercise before I hadn't either and you will catch on It just takes a little time. So glad I found this hidden gem.

Mega is amazing workout that leads to fast results! Prepare to sweat!!! This workout is low impact, resistance based, challenging and fun! The instructors at Mega are full of energy, encouragement and well trained in the Lagree method. Within three classes I could see more definition in my abdominals, legs and back and felt stronger! The Mega workout also effectively targets areas that are typically difficult for women to work and change like outer/inner thighs, gluteals. I had a hip replacement and was struggling to build surrounding muscles post surgery. The Mega workout was able to stimulate those areas and help rebuild the neuromuscular connections. MEGA has literally been life altering for me. I’ve tried every group fitness out there and nothing has given me results (or as fast) like MEGA’s lagree method. Being a mom of two young girls, I don’t have a ton of free time. The intensity/length of class is perfect. Each class is only 45 minutes long and will leave you sore in muscles you didn’t know existed. Whether you’re a Pilates pro or beginner, the instructors will make you feel completely comfortable and at ease. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to kick-start or ramp-up their existing fitness routine. You’ll become a MEGA addict (like myself) in no time. :)
