I've "shopped around" with trying different group workout classes in the Wilmington area, and MissionFit has won me over for their membership. They have hands down the best community and coaches that I've experienced. They hold you accountable for your goals, and with the body scanner they have, you realize the scale is just a number, and there are many more measurements and data points to show that you are indeed making progress, even if the number on the scale doesn't go down. I believe that MissionFit has the best balance of HITT, Weight Training, Cardio, and sports conditioning compared to any of the other group fitness gyms in the area. The coaches check in on you regularly, and the community and people who workout here are amazing, no matter the experience level. Give MissionFit a try, and I'm sure you'll discover it's the best place in town for a great workout.

I have been a member of multiple gyms all throughout Wilmington and have tried many others. Mission Fit is by far my favorite gym. The coaches and the community aspect of the gym make you feel so welcomed and supported. There are all walks of fitness journeys all working out together from beasts to first time gym members and everyone is encouraging each other. Coach Jeff has created an incredible workout program that is constantly evolving and challenging. Coaches Laura, Lexi and Alexis always bring great vibes. Beyond all of that, they care about your journey and are always trying to help you with form and modifications whether it’s from an injury, pregnancy or fitness capacity. This gym is changing my life and absolutely love it. It is the first gym that I actually miss when I’m traveling and can’t wait to get home to get back at it!

MissionFit has completely raised the bar for what a gym should be. I've been going for almost two months, and I can confidently say this is the most supportive and motivating environment I’ve ever worked out in. The coaches are incredible they genuinely care about each member, always offering modifications if you’re dealing with an injury or need to go at your own pace.
The workouts are never boring, and the community is amazing. Everyone is so welcoming, and the energy is contagious. They even provide childcare, which makes it easier for parents to prioritize their health.
As a veteran-owned gym, MissionFit leads with purpose and heart. It’s more than just a place to work out-It’s a space that truly cares about your well-being.

Absolutely the best place to workout! If you're into group fitness, but prefer mostly strength training, then you should check out Mission Fit!
There isn't a lot of jumping around, which was a huge thing for me! The coaches are even more amazing and take the time to correct form and will offer modifications too!! If you're looking to get strong and be around a great group of people, you should definitely try a FREE 7 day pass!!

If you're reading these reviews because you need more reason to convince yourself to try our gym, just know that this place turned a self-proclaimed "non-morning person" into someone who looks forward to 5am workouts every morning. Not only did I become stronger over this past year of attending, but it has helped my mental health as well. The coaches push you to be the best version of yourself and the members are extremely welcoming. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else!

I cannot say enough good things about this team of fitness professionals. From the first day I stepped through the door I felt welcomed, challenged, and taken care of. With a preexisting injury, the coaches always checked with me throughout the workouts to make sure everything was good. The members are all very friendly and there’s no pressure or judgment. I have had a great experience at MissionFit! Classes are in a group setting but you still get one on one help during the classes. There is also childcare that is offered which is a huge plus!
The coaches truly care about you and your goals. Workouts are posted weekly starting on Sunday so you can plan ahead and sign up using the app which is very user friendly. I have been attending for 3 months now and look forward to the classes!

For years, I’ve struggled with mobility and re-strengthening my legs after a terrible knee injury. I tried standard strength exercises at local gyms, physical therapy, chiropractic care, and Peloton courses. My cumulative 12 years of military service has taken a toll on my body as well with multiple other injuries along the way. When I saw Mission Fit opened near my house and read it was an athletic circuit style workout, I thought I’d give it a shot. It was HARD! At almost 250 lbs, it was not easy moving like this again. At one week, I saw exponential gains in my strength, mobility, and mental health. After two months of training I can say with certainty, it allowed me to believe in the longevity of my body again. I feel DAMN good! Thank you to the Mission Fit TEAM!!

I joined MissionFit in October 2023 and have absolutely loved the classes and the community! The coaches are all knowledgeable and approachable, the members are super nice and supportive of each other, and the workouts are great. I like that there's an emphasis on lifting weights, and the two cardio days a week bring a nice balance. They also offer a lot of extras - meetings with coaches, taking your measurements so you can see progress, nutrition help, a children's area, an app for booking classes, etc.
I cannot recommend this place enough No matter what your fitness level is, you'll fit right in!

I’m not gonna lie, I was a little intimidated before I visited MissionFit. It’s been 25 years since playing college lacrosse, and over time my motivation to push myself slacked off. I’d go to one of the big box gyms, but never developed a beneficial routine.
After three sessions with MissionFit, I can tell you it’s not a bit intimidating. Preston and the guys are there to motivate, not dissuade. I’ve left all three sessions with the most awesome muscle burn, something I haven’t felt in years!
Great atmosphere, great people, and great support no matter if you’re an elite athlete or a recovering Netflix addict.

I changed over to Mission Fit in January of 2023 and it was by far one of the best decisions I have made. The community, classes, and coaches are truly unmatched. For someone who only recently got into working out and into gym life it finally felt like "home," and where I needed and also loved to be. This is one of my most favorite places in Wilmington! Not only do you have a great facility with really nice quality conditions, but you gain a family! Kids are welcomed! It's always like a one-on-one training session and never a freak out moment where you're struggling to keep up. It never feels claustrophobic, or people are judging you. You really create friendships and bonds. The coaches are amazing and motivating, they really bring life into the workouts, even on those horrible days where you don't want to do anything. I feel so much better from where I started, I've been going since January and don't plan to stop. Highly recommend checking Mission Fit out!

I am new to Wilmington and Mission Fit. A couple of my friends are members here so I decided to try it out. At first I was a little intimidated since it is much different than the workouts I am used to, but the coaches and other members provide a very encouraging and welcoming atmosphere. We were on a bachelorette trip and all seven of us signed up for a morning class very last minute. Everyone was very welcoming and the workout was awesome and challenging. I recently switched gyms and couldn't be HAPPIER! The classes are always changing, so you are never stuck in the same routines. The trainers are knowledgeable and are great motivators. Since they are locally owned, Jeff and Preston are able to design the most intentional workouts that leave you feeling like you have conquered the world, Every. Single. Workout. As they demonstrate each exercise, they also give you the why. Why we are doing each movement and how it is benefiting your body. The coaches are certified, personable and very accommodating. (You are basically paying for a personal trainer, but with every workout!) I would 10/10 recommend this gym to anyone that is looking to mix up their routine or might not be 100% sure what they are doing in the gym.
