Absolutely amazing experience!! My almost 6 year old has a blast every week and is learning much needed listening skills, as well as hand / eye coordination and gymnastics!! Today I even got to participate in Fort Tag and get some play time in myself! 😎. Truly remarkable program the Coach has set up here! Hooked forever! May even take some adult classes soon to help me with my OCR races!

Kermit the owner was more than professional and courteous with laying down the law with the children. Swift and stern but very understanding. Brandon and Diego are great helpers. This place has a great atmosphere for children of all ages. Even my wife and I took our shoes off and indulged. 5 stars. There are now reopened! Come check them out well worth the time.

We’ve had our two young boys enrolled at Ninjaville for over a year now, and we’ve seen so much growth in both of them since starting! They look forward to class every week and always come home proud of what they’ve accomplished. We’re so grateful for Coach Kermit — he has such a great way of seeing the best in each kid and helping them reach their potential. Highly recommend!

I take my 3 kids (ages 4, 7 and 7 - twins) weekly and they LOVE it. It does so much for them beyond physical skill development. Not only is it a great outlet for them physically...they learn about focus, concentration, pushing past obstacles, not giving up and persistence, the power of focus and practice, respect for others etc. These are the all important life skills not taught so much in school. I'm so grateful for my kids being able to participate in Ninjaville. The staff are excellent.

Went to an adult training session and had a blast while also getting a great workout! As a woman in my forties who hasn’t done a very intense workout for many years, I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to keep up. But Kermit is a wonderful trainer; super patient and offers nice modifications with zero hesitation or judgement.
The first part of the class was warming up and getting to know the obstacle course…I kinda felt like I was back in jr. high! The fun part! A rope swing, trampoline, balance beam and more. After the practice training, we all took our turns going through the course, and even though it took a couple tries to jump over the giant wall, I made it! Definitely want to go back to improve my time!
Really made a workout feel like playtime! Highly recommend if you hate cardio like me, or just need to jump start your fitness routine.

Our two daughters learned more in 6 months at Ninjaville than they did at any other gymnastics facility they've attended. Coach Kermit pushed them hard, transforming initial fear into weekly enthusiasm. We loved the kind yet no-nonsense coaching style that truly resonates with kids. Unfortunately, we had to move away from Asheville, but our daughters still follow Coach Kermit’s mantra every day. Recently, one of our girls overcame a significant fear, and when she finally accomplished her goal, she proudly said, “I overcame my obstacle by having fun.” Ninjaville and Coach Kermit have left a lasting impact on our family, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

Our 5.5 yr old son, Julian, has been going to classes off and on for a couple years now. We've also done Parents' Night Out, summer camp, and the Halloween party iirc. Coach Kermit has always been accommodating with our schedules and lives, and consistently provides a firm, fair, and fun experience for Julian and the rest of the kids. Of course, the classes are not just about obstacle training, ninja skills, and exercise, but also center discipline, self-responsibility, perseverance, and self-confidence. The pricing is also extremely competitive and fair, making for an enriching experience that we've found to be much more financially-accessible that other options around town. We (including Julian) are so appreciative of Coach Kermit and Ninjaville. Highly recommended.

Yesterday was my grandsons first class and he loved it. He woke up this morning saying he had a stomach ache (sore core) and talking about how great he did at Ninjaville yesterday. Wow...What a self confidence booster. (something we all need, but especially our precious children)
I have to disagree with a previous review about it not being a good fit for neurodiverse children, because i feel it is. Kermit was able to keep my grandsons attention (if you have an ADHD child then you realize how hard this is), the entire class while helping and explaining to him how to overcome his fears. (Kermit told him that I've got you and you are safe) My daughter and I love this man. You see he was also my daughters gymnastics coach for cheerleading almost 20 years ago. We feel blessed to have him as part of our family, once again.

As a teacher, coach, and parent, all I can say is that Ninjaville and Coach Kermit and Coach Brandon are absolutely amazing with young people. They teach values, character building, along with the mix of gymnastics, ninja warrior skills, etc. They meet each child at their level and build their confidence and skills. My son loves this and truly appreciate the passion and love put into working with him.

A great place for kids to learn to have "Focused Energy, Strong Work Ethic, and Self Responsibility." Coach Kermit is dedicated to giving kids the confidence and skills they need to be strong kids who build self-efficacy. He doesn't play around, but he shows the kids how to have fun within strong boundaries. Highly recommend!

Our 2 kids just finished a week of camp at Ninjaville and are begging to sign up for another week. Coach has a way with the kids that not only ensures a safe and fun time but encourages the behaviors that we as parents are striving for. Discipline, respect for self and others and building confidence! He has a real gift and to observe is to grin, nod, giggle and come back for more. Thanks Coach!! Focused Energy! Work Ethic! Self Responsibility!!

Our 4 year old LOVES this place! We've seen his skills and coordination improve in just a few months and love having the Ninja creed as a reference at home. Mr. Kermit is great. He is encouraging and still challenges our son to perform skills correctly and safely and to push himself to keep trying! He leaves tired and proud of himself every week. My six year old little girl just ran at a six-foot high barrier, kicked off its bottom, grabbed the top of it and pulled herself right up and over it! It is amazing how the instructor Kermit Belton is able to inspire her to rise up to these challenges. You would share my amazement if you knew my child like I do. This is a child who used to be too scared to get herself down from a playground ladder because she was one foot from the ground and no matter how I tried to coach her and persuade her to do on her own, she was simply stuck. Kermit has some mysterious charisma or something that inspires this timid girl to wonderful new heights, pun intended! Worth every penny to see her face light up with a sense of accomplishment with every obstacle and challenge she overcomes through Kermit's coaching. I can totally see this experience giving her some deeper ability to overcome life's obstacles as she gets older.

A+, well done coach Kermit.

I drove past Ninjaville one day and thought that it would be a silly and fun place to have my husband's 35th birthday. Ninjaville made the event SO MUCH FUN! We invited some friends (7 adults aged late 20s- late 30s) to the party. There is a little party room where you can set up snacks/drinks and leave your purse/wallet/keys. Once we were there and ready Kermit took us through a little warm-up, stretch, then we focused on some specific skills, then did an obstacle course race, and then with our last 20ish minutes we could go play on whatever equipment we wanted. Kermit warned us that we would feel some muscle pain the next day and we were definitely winded after a lot of the activities but it was a ton of fun to get to play in the gym and do stuff you can't normally do at home or at a regular gym or park! Kermit was also really good about reading our energy levels and tweaking activities as needed to work with us out-of-shape adults. We really had so much fun and it is going to be a very special memory/experience we will get to share. Adults should have fun birthday parties too!
If you're looking for a fun birthday party, bachelor/ette party, corporate retreat, etc., I would definitely recommend bringing your grown-up friends to Ninjaville for a fun time you will not soon forget!

Seems like a great program, but not for neurodiverse kids.

We tried a class at Ninjaville in winter of 2019. Why the delayed review? For a long time I felt like our bad experience was my fault, or my kid's somehow. But with time I've come to realize that the instructor was just not trained or prepared with how to deal with a child like mine. I can't stop thinking about our experience and want to prevent other parents of kids like mine from having a similar one.

My son has ADHD, ASD, and low muscle tone and his therapists had recommended we try martial arts and gymnastics. I thought this place would be the perfect mix for him!

I arrived early so I could fill in the instructor about my child, but he arrived right at the class start time and didn't acknowledge me. No worries! Let's see how this goes.

From the warm up I could tell that we would have challenges, and I should have left right then but I was hopeful things would improve. My son struggled through the warm up, receiving very little instruction, just correction, from Kermit. The mom next to me leaned over to me... "What's wrong with your son?" she hissed in my ear.

I struggled not to cry but to smile every time my son looked my way for approval. Kermit tried to get him in a strong stance, nothing my son had ever done before. Kermit pushed his shoulders over and over "stand strong!" while my son's noodly body flopped around, totally unsure how to stand strong. He eventually curled up in a ball and started withdrawing.
He got it back by the end of the class and enjoyed the obstical course. We left a little unsure of what had just transpired.

I expected a follow up call to see if I was interested in continuing, and figured this was a chance to speak with Kermit directly about my son so we could try again. He never called, so I can only assume that he was not wanted in future classes.

If your kid is a neurotypical, athletic type this seems like a great place. But if your kid is anything like mine, run far away.

Ninjaville, here is how you can do better:
1. Introduce yourself to new families before the class starts. Ask if there is anything to know about the child.
2. Follow up with families, a simple "I see this didn't go well, how can we make it better?" would have been huge.
3. Get some training in neurodiversity. These kids could be your best clients if you can learn how to work with them!
4. You made us feel unwelcome and unwanted. The other kids saw that. Lead by example.

We had our sons 5th birthday here and it was awesome! He had the best time. Everything was cleaned before, during, and after. I would definitely recommend this place for classes, birthdays, camps, etc.
