Tristin is absolutely amazing, her energy, and encouragement makes every workout something to look forward to. The environment feels like a second home. The fitness studio itself is a inclusive vibe with results-driven workouts. Whether you're a beginner or experienced, you'll feel right at home. Tristin genuinely cares, making this place more than just a gym it is a community.

I have been working one-on-one with Tristin for 6 months now. She is exactly what I needed as someone new to weightlifting and with a history of injuries. She is very adaptable and always listens to feedback. Tristin is very knowledgeable and a great coach! Highly recommend, especially for people new to weightlifting or people with histories of injury or chronic conditions.

If you had told me 6 months ago that I'd be learning Olympic lifts and wrapping up my 5th month of 1:1 personal training, I would've laughed nervously and said "Ha! Yeah, okay." As someone with (what feels like) olympic-level gym anxiety, sky-high expectations for myself, and a tendency toward all-or-norhing thinking when it comes to exercise, I knew I needed help. Like, "please save me from another failed YouTube dumbbell workout" kind of help.

I'd tell myself I'd do that at-home workout "tomorrow".. and then tomorrow would ghost me. Again. Cue the guilt spiral and the "I have no idea what I'm doing" paralysis. But then I ripped the bandaid off and signed up for personal training. And wow - every session has been so exciting and I leave feeling so accomplished.

I'm so much stronger, confident, and genuinely look forward to training. I'm so glad I invested in myself and I urge you to do the same. That $20+ you drop on coffee or takeout? Put it toward your health instead. Future you will thank you!

OneRep and Tristin have created the most welcoming, safe, and supportive space. She devotes her full attention to you during every session, making sure your form is solid and you're safe especially when you're trying something new or intimidating. She always takes the time to demonstrate movements clearly and communicates right away if your form is off, helping prevent injuries and build confidence one rep at a time. It's like having a personal cheerleader, coach, and safety net all in one.

I've shown up on hard days, celebrated wins, and even did my first ever group class. Was I anxious? Absolutely. Did I do it anyway? Heck yes. And I wouldn't have had the courage without the foundation I built through 1:1 training.

Here's the thing: what you get out of it is what you put into it. If you show up, commit, and trust the process, you'll be amazed at what you can accomplish. I now walk into the gym with more knowledge, confidence, and excitement after working with Tristin. If you're on the fence, scared, or stuck in a cycle of "tomorrow", this is your sign. Come join us!! We'll be waiting (excitedly) for you!

I trained with Tristin at OneRep for six months, paying $400/month for twice a week one on one sessions. Even during my 30 minutes her attention would often be drawn to other athletes or the gym which was frustrating as I was told I would get 30 minutes of full attention. The real issue came after I got injured and couldn’t work out. I asked for a pause and the only “options” I was given were paying $300 as a “grace period” and switching to online coaching (which made no sense since I literally couldn’t work out and she’s not a physical therapist) or pay full price for a month where I wouldn’t be going to the gym and come back and have access to two months of group classes that I know I wouldn’t like. On top of that she ghosted me multiple times through the whole process. I lost all trust in Tristin and honestly cannot recommend this gym

I’ve been doing one-on-one coaching with Tristin for over 4 months now and it’s been the most incredible experience! I had 0 prior experience with strength training or working out at all and wanted to find a welcoming place to learn… Tristin has truly cultivated that welcoming, empowering space at One Rep! Their trauma-informed approach has made getting stronger so much more accessible to me as a newbie. I’m so grateful to be a part of this wonderful community!!

Where do I even begin?

I’ve been on and off with my fitness journey for years—bouncing between intense workouts and long stretches of being sedentary. When I moved to Greensboro last July, I joined a CrossFit gym with the mindset of “Okay, time to get it together and push myself into shape!” Unfortunately, that approach backfired—I ended up injuring my knee pretty badly and stopped working out altogether.

I never went back to CrossFit. Instead, I reached out to Tristen Miller after a recommendation from my previous gym in Thomasville—and I am so glad I did.

The truth is, I got hurt because I was lost in the chaos of high-intensity, competitive group classes, not getting enough guidance or support, and seeing little progress. That completely changed when I started working with Tristen.

Since training with her, my knee pain is gone, and I’m finally seeing real results—without feeling like I’m being destroyed every time I go to the gym. Tristen is knowledgeable, kind, patient, firm when she needs to be, and truly inspiring. I honestly wish I had reached out to her sooner.

After about three months of training, I’m not only seeing the results—I’m feeling them. And, GIRL, other people are noticing, too!

Tristen Miller isn’t just a personal trainer—she’s a lifestyle shift, and a much-needed one at that. Five stars, no question. I’m a loyal client for the long haul.

Best coach, hands down! Meets you where you’re at mentally/physically and challenges you to push yourself. I was new to weightlifting and Tristin created such a welcoming community that was easy to be a part of. Highly recommend checking out One Rep, there’s no other place like it :)

Tristin is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about weightlifting. She really gets to know her athletes (as she fondly refers to every person she trains) and approaches each workout holistically…mind, body, spirit. Tristin has come into my 18-yr-old’s life at a critical time and is not only a coach, but an incredible life mentor, too!!!

One rep weightlifting has been a life changing experience that I could not recommend more for those who are wanting to get in the gym. Tristan Miller has created a gym space that strives to make all who enter feel safe and welcome no matter the skill level. Not only that, but they are a coach that listens to their athletes and coaches them to be better not only in the gym but in everyday life. Truly a one of a kind gym created by a one of a kind person.

I love OneRep - I’ve been a member and will remain connected to this place 💛 I originally got my membership because I go to a CrossFit gym and knew that my olympic lifts needed some TLC. Tristin pays attention to both the programming AND the person, which sets this space apart from so many alternatives in the fitness world. The facility and the members are so warm and friendly - highly recommend.

Tristin has cultivated an amazing space here, and possesses such an extensive range of knowledge of weightlifting, mental health and the connection it has to wellness that many may not realize are crucial. Being a part of this gym has been one of the highlights of my year and I am excited to keep being a part of this wonderful community! If you are looking for an inclusive, supportive, and open space to start or continue your training, and are interested in the mindfulness practices and a healthy way of dealing with trauma, I wouldn’t hesitate to book a consultation!

I have never felt stronger and validated by a trainer in my life more than I do with Tristian. They really take the time to get to know you and what strength training works for you, and values your mental health along with your physical health. I have never had more fun lifting weights in my life! OneRep is not just a gym, it's a loving community. From doing HIIT circuits under LEDS and disco balls, to olympic weight lifting, I've never felt more empowered than I do when I am training at OneRep!

I’ve been with One Rep for over a year and it’s been an amazing experience. Tristin is very knowledgable and professional. They’ve done an amazing job making the gym inclusive for the LGBTQIA+ community and beyond. A huge bonus? The dogs. Luna and Arwen are the best little assistant junior coaches!
