The latest opening date for the gym was November 28, 2025. I had got a written communication from the manager but today when I went by this place looks far from open. Not really sure if they have moved it again. The parking area is still barricaded and the gym was not open.

Amber was VERY helpful with an issue that arose for me. She not only was prompt with her follow through on what I needed, but also went above what I would expect from a rep and called me several hours later to confirm that everything was completed. SUPER impressed with that service!

How are people reviewing this club located in Apex, NC when it isn’t even open yet? When I enrolled in this club in February 2025, I was told it was opening on October 31, 2025. After finding no information nor communication regarding an opening in Oct , I finally got in touch with someone in their reopening office and I was told the date is November 24, 2025. But they didn’t sound like they changed the date. They kind of made it sound like I misunderstood the date which is not the case. So once again I’m hunting high and low for proof that it’s opening on Monday Nov 24th and find nothing referencing an opening date. Even on the app, it doesn’t show there’s anything happening next week. And there is zero communication with them and nothing on the face page of their app that says when they’re opening. However, I’m finding reviews of the club which seems very suspect to me. I have no idea what’s included with this club and I can’t find proper information. I have seen 0 photos. I can’t find an announcement with an opening date. I have received no communication from them regarding the opening date. You would think they would be doing a countdown at this point with photos. I belong to a club that’s located in a different direction and I really don’t want to take the time to drive over to Beaver Creeks commons only find the doors locked. I have to admit I’m a little dismayed at this point. Someone doesn’t understand communication with its members. I joined many clubs before they’ve opened after doing hardhat tours and this is not normally how it’s done.

I went to the preview center in apex. I had the pleasure of speaking with Charnelle Collins. She was able to answer all my questions and I’m excited to attend one of her bootcamp classes she teaches as soon as Onelife Fitness Apex opens. Also for those of you who are frustrated with gyms that tolerate people on their phones while on machines for extended periods of time, Onelife fitness doesn’t tolerate this. Spoiler Alert: BEWARE of the Shady Cancellation Policy
Joining this gym may seem easy — but canceling your membership is a nightmare. The cancellation process is intentionally complicated and designed to trap members in long-term commitments with high cancellation fees and unreasonable notice periods.
If you’re within your initial term and want to cancel, you’ll be charged three times the monthly fee as a penalty, even if you’re not using the facilities. After the initial term, you’re still required to give written notice and wait up to two full calendar months for cancellation to take effect, depending on when your notice is received. That’s right — even after giving notice, you’re on the hook for up to two more months of charges.
Even worse, cancellations must be in writing and either emailed, sent by certified mail, or hand-delivered to the manager. No phone calls, no online cancellation, no exceptions. If you miss any of the technical steps or have a balance due, they won’t process your request.
This policy is hidden in the fine print, but it’s very real. Be careful before signing anything here. I recommend asking very direct questions about how to cancel before you join — and read the contract very closely. Otherwise, you may end up paying a lot more than you expected.

They do a great job listening to their member when using the enhancement fee that every gym has and pay attention to new health and fitness technology. They are always the best bang for your buck in the fitness industry. It's very easy to cancel if you are moving, have orders or medical issue.

I locked in a Founding rate and couldn't be happier with my experience at the preview center. Chris, the GM, was super friendly and answered every question, explained every cost and when it was due, as well as the commitment length.

I used to live in VA and loved Onelife Fitness when I was there. The club was always clean and the staff was always friendly. They have so much to offer for a reasonable price. It's worth every penny.

I normally wouldn't write a review on a place that isn't open yet, but after looking at a few of the bad reviews, I felt compelled.

A few people leaving a bad review because they don't like the membership options they offer is like leaving a bad review for a restaurant you never went to because you don't like their type of food. It's illogical. My guess is it's employees of a competitor.
