Been coming here for a few weeks. Usually super great customer service! Today was not one of those days. A gentleman at the front counter with a bun felt the need to point out that I was wearing a decent bit of makeup and told me how silly it was to come to the gym like that. Super discouraging. I have a decent bit of acne scars and it's something I'm rather self conscious about so I use makeup to help with it. I don't feel it was his place to call out my personal preference for his own entertainment just to let me know I looked stupid. Would really appreciate if we talked to our employees about what's appropriate in the work place and what isn't.

Started working out here December 2024. They recently added new machines (September/October 2015) . The new machines no longer start at 10lbs and I’ve noticed the weight equivalents are completely different than the old machines. For example, I use to row 40lbs but now 60lbs feels like what 40lb use to. They no longer have as many lower body machines so I have to wait longer to use them. I was using their lower body machines to rehab some injuries however, they all now start at 20lb and not knowing if that’s a true 20lb I can no longer come to this gym and be confident in my workout or my injury recovery process. Won’t be visiting this gym anymore. Will have to drive 30minutes out of my way to visit Ramsey St instead.

Would be helpful if the staff were more informed! They also couldn’t tell me the weight equivalents for the colored bands for the TRX machine. I had to google all the info I needed and even that didn’t fully satisfy the confidence I needed for my workout.

Would be great if I was informed on how to utilize the new machines! Scanned the QR code provides no helpful information.

The manager Beyonce is genuinely so sweet and really does care about the concerns of everyone who attends. She genuinely cares about the comfort, safety and wellbeing of gym goers.

For the price and services, you're getting a great deal. Unlimited tanning, water massage beds, red-light therapy, all great. Maybe they could use more real bench press benches plus a few other things yet again for the price you can't beat it. I'm just there to maintain my health and fitness levels. Most of the people and staff seem very friendly and approachable. 🤩

Do your posted rules mean anything? I've been a member for less than a year and only recently started coming regularly. There are signs posted all around spelling out the dress code, specifically footwear. In multiple occasions lately, I've witnessed patrons using the machines wearing slides and crocs on the treadmill. Aside from the possible injury risk, I really struggle with the cavalier attitudes of the employees regarding expectations. They are always pleasant up on arrival but generally spend time socializing. I have addressed another issue with the manager on duty but not sure if anything has changed. Someone once said if you see ugly kids and follow them home, you'll find ugly parents. What other rule infractions/standards are being overlooked. When you tolerate bad behavior, you're encouraging it. All rules are important or none of them are

Came in to get a membership and they sent me away after telling me to do it myself on the app. I had questions about their types of memberships and the difference between them and it seems like they weren't sure how much cancelation fees were or like they didnt know many details about their memberships. I left the gym with no membership and no information.
Hire better employees who care.

First time there, went with a friend who is beginning to workout. Facility was nice, surprised that they had so much equipment. Most of all, I had unknowingly lost my wallet while I was there, stressed and panicked, I had returned about a half hour later and someone turned it in, so it was soothing to know that good people workout there. I'm not a member, I'm a member at another gym but I will pop in anytime that I can.

How hard is it to maintain your tanning beds? I may not be a body builder, but not even advising that the bed they sent me to had 7 bulbs out completely and 3 flashing is ridiculous. It wouldn't be so bad if they didn't normally ask if I minded bulbs out for the past two months... and I always wait for a bed without bulbs out. Only been a member here for 3 months btw .. YES I DO MIND, IT'S SUMMER... but nobody even mentioned it this time and I overheard the manager saying to another member that HOPEFULLY within two weeks they'd all be fixed. But don't quote her!!??????? This is insane. BUT DON'T WORRY SHE ASKED ABOUT MY EYE PROTECTION THAT SHE SHOULD'VE REMEMBERED SELLING ME... Never happened in my Charlotte sites. Is Crunch Fitness ever coming to Fayetteville??? I hope so!! I'll pay the stupid fee to leave, in a heartbeat.

I have been attending this gym since Sept 2024, the staff make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in, other members don't stare or make you feel uncomfortable. The equipment is easy to understand and use. The staff is whiling to explain or demonstrate any if there is any uncertainty. All other amenities are like a cherry on top, a massager after a workout? Yes please! A convenient place to tan? Yes! Not to mention the super clean rest rooms and showers that make you feel comfortable. I am most definitely loving my gym experience with Planet Fitness.

This morning I would like to celebrate this location for the clean and friendly environment they provide on a daily . I'm here getting my daily morning hydro massage and thankful for the customer service representatives employed here . Everyone is truly great . Special shout out to Alissia for her warm and friendly attitude, always showing patience and compassion for the members here . She was very gentle with an older gentleman who had some physical limitations, assisting him to where he would be more comfortable. It was sweet and I hope this reaches the right person

I am very satisfied with the Skibo location. The Staff are very welcoming and they keep the equipment and facility clean. Since I am not much of a fitness person, Planet Fitness fits all my needs. I do not feel overwhelmed . I feel good coming here to start my healthy journey. So far I have been faithful. Definitely a good place to start.

It varies by club but essentially you get the same McDonalds-like, cookie cutter experience. After dealing with this PF however, I'm ready to cancel my membership. I've never had a problem with the lack of cleanliness (how hard is it to sweep a floor and spray down shawers? Where is this coveted 'Black Card' fee going?) Or the fact that staff members aren't on their post/asleep in their cars some nights. I guess it depends on the person, but my problem is the staff gets real rude to 'members', real quick to not be on point. Ive seen homeless people come in and out all night, and sometimes even sleep on the equipment like massage chairs, yet a 'member' who has an overdue balance will be threatened for trying to work out. Good luck just cutting ties with them though. If you ask to speak to management or cancel membership, the staff will regurgitate the same jibber jabber that gets you NOWHERE. Everyone is sooo inaccessible, until its time to charge you or threaten you. Never going back, no longer interested in speaking to management and they can charge me till 2124; they won't get another dime out of me again.

Love planet fitness for equipment and being able to work out freely and comfortably. But trying to cancel is hell on earth. You have to write a letter (so 90s) or you have to go in person (my car was (totaled)! Most gyms allow you to cancel by calling or through their website. Making it easier to cancel for users and makes you users want to come back to them first. Automatic renewal of membership just no freedom to cancel easily if there is any sudden life change. I would recommend but don’t have any life changes that may prevent you from getting there

Honestly the whole experience was top notch, coming from 24 fitness in Southern California. I have been through MANY different gyms throughout my journey in exercise. Had to pay $58 to cancel my wife’s membership, said a PF gym is 25 miles away. Work all day, picking kids up from school, take them home then drive 30 to the gym and 30 mins home. I can tell you I will never join PF gym ever again and I will let all my family and friends not to join. I really hope they respond to this but I doubt they will!!!
