Old equipment but serviceable. Very nice people at the front desk. Even though I walked. in need to use their app. Which was a pain to use (ux much?) for example; I had to manually scroll through 4 decades to find my birthday, I couldn't just enter it, and there was no way to pick a year (why can't I save time and just enter it?) I had to hit next 50 times, and it wouldn't let me past the entry without it. The girl at the desk didn't believe it, then she saw it too when she "helped me". She was great the app sucked.

ALL people working there are very nice and helpful. That is very important for us. The place is clean and no complaints. I with the guest of the black members can also use the hydro chair. dang! lol I just recently switched with my son as a black member holder. I'm going to miss to use the chair!! Good exercise selection and great employees! They recently got 4 squat racks for free weight bench pressing, squating, and deadlifting. Between the Holly Springs Planet Fitness and the Fuquay one, this one's by far the best.

Edit: Thanks for inviting those of us who have given reviews with less than five stars to have our concerns addressed with management. Our reviews ARE feedback. Several recent reviews express criticism of aspects of the new equipment and its setup. There has yet to be any change to the situation. Downgrading from 3 to 2 stars. Will upgrade if the situation changes accordingly.

Original review: PF probably has their reasons for going down from about 30 elliptical machines to 12, but with cold and flu season coming, it would be nice to have enough machines (or more space between them) to not be about 3 feet from other people. It's enough to breathe during exercise without putting a mask on top of that. Otherwise, good deal, enjoyable gym experience.

I am giving 3 stars because they updated the equipment, and it is staying woth the times. Now, there is usually an available machine for whatever body part you are working out. Had it nkt been for the upgrade, it would be 1 star. Because the men's bathrooms are disgusting. I want to throw up everytime I need to use the urinal. The floors, toilets, the smell, trash is full. Disgusting. Those bathrooms really need to be clean. I was a plumber many years ago and let me tell you, this is bad.

This used to be one of my favorite locations until they rearranged And downgraded the aerobic equipment. All of the elliptical machines are in front of the same floor television screens none of which has a network I care for. Half of the television screens are now in front of weightlifting equipment, which makes no sense since you’re only on them for a couple of minutes. I’m going to start driving the extra few miles to the Holly Springs location. Oh well.

When I called prior to visiting, I actually spoke to a member and not have to deal with automation. Upon visiting, the team members were courteous and friendly. The facility was clean and had adequate parking spaces. I especially liked the massaging and hydro chairs, taking advantage of them during my initial visit. Needless to say, I joined and I am happy with my decision on choosing this facility.

Our account was drafted for an annual fee on an account that was closed not once, but TWICE in two weeks!!!

Called first to get the draft reversed and it took one day to get back to me.

Then the second one a week later was supposed to be the same way. Nope! Manager stated that it would be 3-4 days.

Waited 7 days. Nothing!!

Called back and then manager said it would be 7-10 days!!!!!

I am opening up a fraud case against this location.

They have NO clue how to conduct billing.

The APPROPRIATE resolution would be to have me or my spouse go in there and issue a credit on our card at the counter.

Would be a simple solution. But they have to be difficult.

No one answers a phone. I’m on my wife’s membership and I need to speak with someone at this location to set it up. I was on hold for 25 minutes and gave up. When I go in there, people are standing behind the counter doing nothing while the phone rings.

If you know what you want to get out of a gym membership then this is a great option, traditionally I've gone to the Y mostly for bodybuilding things a little bit of calisthenics and a good amount of cardio and planet fitness offers all of this with a convenience of being open 24 hours and without any of the inconveniences that come with more traditional gyms. I highly recommend anyone that's interested in fitness considering this as a cost-effective alternative to a traditional big gym especially like lifetime.

I have been coming to this Planet Fitness for about a year. For the price it is an excellent option. If you are coming with no experience you may want to hire a personal trainer to teach you how to correctly do exercises. I have found machines to be well maintained. Bathroom and shower facilities have been clean when I have used. Staff is responsive, friendly and helpful. You can use the app to see how busy things are. I find it fairly accurate.

Fuquay Varina PF is great. The staff are very professional and the facility is always clean. Beth, the personal trainer, is really good. She has helped me out a number of times with my workouts due to some back issues I have. Also great are Chance, AJ, Tiana, Aiden, Jeannae, Audra, and of course the manager, Cara.

I go to the Fuquay PF 5/6 times a week and the facility is always clean and the staff is wonderful, especially Beth, Cara, AJ, Chase, Jeremy, Tiana, Audra, Janae, and all others. Also, they recently got in a number of new machines. Not only is it fun to try out the new machines but I have also noticed that with so many to choose from I am able to get time on some favorites without as much competition.

I love how clean the gym, ladies restroom, and hydro-massage beds are. All of the staff is wonderful especially Cara, Chance, Katie, Beth, and Jeremy. I also really like the fact that PF in Fuquay is very community oriented. Among some of what do is they took up donations to help the NC people impacted by Hurricane Helene, sponsor blood drives, and allow teenagers to go to the gym from June - August at no charge. I try to get to the gym 5-7 days a week and I really enjoy the atmosphere here. Great Job Cara and Team!!!!!!!!!

I come to PF in Fuquay Varina almost every day. Cara, the manager, is great. She can be found on the floor cleaning, checking out machines, and behind the desk ensuring everything is running smoothly. Her staff is also great and I want to give a shout out to Chance, Shamyla, and Trevon! Excellent customer service and I look forward to coming as often as I can.

I have been a member for a few years now, happy never has a problem until now. I have a Black Card membership, so I invited my friend to the gym. He arrived first but wasn’t allowed in because the manager said the member had to be present to scan them in. I went in and scanned him in, then left, assuming everything was fine. But after I left, the manager came back and kicked my friend out. Seriously? I’m embarrassed and frustrated with how he handled the situation. PF offers free summer access for teens and even a free guest to try out, yet he still chose to kick my friend out after I left. So ridiculous!!!

They make it REALLY hard to cancel your membership. I mailed them a letter in December as requried to cancel a yearly membership i bought someone as a Christmsmas gift last year and and they said the letter arrived too early and i would have to send ANOTHER letter timed so the post office would deliver the letter in January after the 26th but before Feb 11th when they would auto renew.

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing Planet Fitness for the first time, and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, which made me feel comfortable right away. The facilities were also very clean and well-maintained, which is always a plus. I enjoyed the variety of equipment and classes available, which allowed me to switch up my routine and try new things. And perhaps most importantly, the membership fees were very affordable, which made it easy for me to commit to a regular workout routine. Overall, I had a great experience at Planet Fitness and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality gym experience.

I have had a few issues with other guests but I spoke to the manager Travis and he was able to take care of them for me. Unfortunately, during the summer the gym is overrun with high schoolers and people who are not respectful. If you are looking to get a quick workout in it is fine, but if you are looking for anything more extensive than 30 minutes I suggest you come in the morning or after 7:30pm. Honestly, if you are looking into weight lifting or anything other than basic cardio/muscle building this is really not the right gym. I feel like if you are like me and just starting to get into it—it's good, but if you take weightlifting seriously or even competitively I would go to a different or private gym. The weight section is typically full of men who look at themselves in the mirror and is not as accessible (imo) to women, especially young women. Every other part of the gym I have not really had any issues with. Additionally, the staff have never made me feel unsafe as a young woman either which unfortunately is not the case for all PF's.

I really enjoy the staff here at this gym and I would like to highlight both Beth's, Julia, and Travis for making me feel welcomed and met with a smile. They always have been nice, and I even chat with them sometimes! (when they are not busy)

If you're just getting started, I would suggest going to this gym—but if your a bit advanced I would consider a private or less mainstream gym.

I enjoy this PF better than others. First compliment, is I've never heard that obnoxious lunk alarm go off! They still have folks hogging machines/stations by sitting on their phones, but again not as bad as others. I wish PF would make a rule about people and their dang phones. Come to work out or leave. Fuquay Varina planet fitness is by far the best I have ever been to! The staff is incredibly accommodating and friendly, and the amenities are kept up and clean and stocked! It is the only Planet Fitness that I will go to in my area, and I go out of my way to go to this one because it by far out all the others! Every other planet fitness has issues of some sort from paper towels not being refilled to AC not working properly or staff not friendly.

The ultimate work out place!!! Staff is very friendly and helpful. I give them 5 stars for cleanliness as they are always busy doing just that. I have been a member at this gym for five months now and have not seen any broken machines or filthiness as one reviewer reported. Another person stated they thought the prices were too high, but this Planet Fitness is much cheaper with many more perks than previous gyms I have attended. Oh, and to the person who complained about someone walking in on them while tanning, perhaps they should have hung the room number sign on the outside of the door indicating that the room was occupied and used the lock that is on every room !

I have been a member of Planet Fitness since 2009, I’ve been to almost every single gym in the Carolinas, and I have to say this one is clean most the time and some of the staff are friendly, it lacks a mature leadership and diligence on the floor. The amount of highschoolers they allow in to just goof around eat food on the floor and play on their phones instead of working out is ridiculous. The workers seem extremely indifferent as most of them are highschoolers as well. Leadership needs to pay attention more instead of talking with highschoolers on the floor. Don’t plan on a quick easy workout if you come after 3 PM as the gym fills up with highschoolers who like to abuse the equipment without repercussion, and generally disrupt the people there who are actually trying to work out.
