As a family, we all have black cards. We use it for the purpose of working out but also tanning. Our tanning experience has not been great! My daughter just left the gym. She went to tan and waited at the front desk. No one came to assist, so she left. Earlier, another member of our family went to tan and had issues with the bed working. He had to redress to make the front desk aware that the bed was not working. This is not the 1st time!

My first review was below. My second review is that since the equipment swap, half of the new matrix ellipticals don't work. They either have a temporary sign on them or they wobble back and forth they're out of balance. I guess that's one way to get a good workout in. When the customer gets so frustrated that they have to work hard on a machine just to take out their frustrations even more than when they first walked in the building. The other Bank of ellipticals, the one that I tried for the Sprint 8 program, did not work so I have not tried that bank again. Why is it so difficult? And how does one get in touch with the manager?

For those of us who like to exercise after 9:00 p.m. the hours are great! Generally the staff are pleasant, and you get greeted when you enter. In recent weeks I've seen a lot of staff vacumming. I also love the fact that there are a lot of young people working out, and it has a very diverse membership. So thoroughly disappointed however that after the equipment swap the Arc trainers disappeared. I wish that at least one Arc trainer would have remained. That was my favorite piece of equipment and it bums me out every time I go now.

I always gave this place great reviews but recently here they've changed out the equipment about a week ago all used equipment from the Burlington location to the Graham location 10 elliptical machines and six of them are down broken and need a repair I've reached out to the district manager on this they keep saying they're going to fix them they were supposed to replace them as new equipment we have been conned us... I've been a member of this place since place opened up what a joke If there's anybody out there that has the same issues reach out to the district manager I'm going to reach out to the home headquarters as well

They replaced all treadmills with bicycles and incline steps that i don't see anyone using them and those few new treadmills got replaced with some trash treadmills with the incline button that you have to press every time to adjust it and takes a while to start moving when u press and hold, and speed button press and hold moves up/down too slow then stops every 1mph otherwise you have to press it every time for every 0.1mph to 8 or 10mph I run to is very unuseful and annoying and takes a while to adjust the speed, the screen is old school pixel dot screen that hurts your eyes and the phone/tablet placement is right on the middle blocking work out screen,
on other hand they cut the water down to where it drips to wash hands with and removed paper towels, after 10+ years of being a member here is time find a new gym

I’m writing this review purely because half the cable machines in the gym have a sign on them saying temporarily out of order. I can deal with it being a couple cable machines considering there’s so many however now their one and only preacher curl machine is apparently out of order. And they don’t even look like they’re broken. I think people just have a tiny issue with them and they slap a sign on it. The staff is always nice to me greeting me on the way in and out. But I do agree that sometimes the bathrooms are not as clean as I’d like them to be but they’re not filthy. Plus the sinks in the bathrooms have barely any pressure. Sometimes the paper towel things are empty but it’s pretty rare and only during peak hours. I’ve been going here for years and never seen the equipment apparently broken this much for this long. Please fix it or I’ll be forced to look for a different gym

After almost two years of dealing with broken equipment it APPEARS this Planet Fitness is finally going to replace the equipment and make changes to the gym in the middle of September(supposedly, but Ill believe it when I see it as several things Ive been told in the past have failed to come to fruition for whatever reason)
If the upgrades end up happening I will upgrade this rating because most things at this gym are just fine, other than some of the equipment being in dire need of repair. The staff is nice and the gym is clean. Parking can be a hassle at certain times of the day, but overall a nice facility.

This place is awesome. The equipment is always clean. They give free memberships to teens all summer long, which is such a wonderful thing to do for the community and they’re nice. It’s not weird that there’s no judging there’s no pushy people following you around trying to upsell you personal training it’s just a cool place to go. They have quite a bit of equipment too no track though nothing to like jog or run around butit’s pretty well stocked as far as weights go treadmills, etc..

Old equipment, often out of service or in a state of constant disrepair. They are also extremely inconsistent in their application of the “no crocs” policy at this specific Planet Fitness. I personally have only seen this rule applied to women, never men. Otherwise, the facilities are usually clean although some days they do not refill the paper towels frequently enough for an efficient wipe down by users.

So far everything has been great! All staff is so kind, and I've been greeted EVERY time I walk in, and they also tell me goodbye. The customer service is wonderful. Staff helped me when I inquired about the lockers, and also when I had questions about peak times. It is so nice to attend a gym where you are welcome, and staff is knowledgeable and friendly!

I’ve been going to the gym for 2 years and never had an issue with the front desk personal until now. The lady on black was super rude when she was explaining the black card rules to me. She tried shutting me up multiple times when I tried to speak to her, besides that a not worker girl was standing up next to me talking to this girl in black which i think is the manager, and she was laughing to the conversation the whole time, I just consider this very disrespectful and I think any other person would cancel their membership due to this lack of respect and negativity towards a member, which i have been considering. There’s ways to talk to clients, more when it comes from a worker and explaining rules. I am really disappointed of having to workout knowing I have somebody observing what I’m doing as soon as I get to the gym (she mentioned how I supposedly workout for 30’ and then leave, which is wrong because I always workout for more than an hour). I just hope this negative energies coming from the front desk gets better, I’m pretty sure more members think the same, i’m not the only one.

This review is based off of limited information on the gym itself as I just started going there, but I feel that I had to shout out Katie. I walked into the gym on a day when they happened to be short-staffed due to many callouts from what I understand. Katie was manning the front desk and making sure everyone was checked in, helping out in the tanning area, helping people with app related problems on their phone, and still had the time to make sure I was properly signed up for my membership. She showed me around the gym, was cordial, and had an unbelievable amount of grace and composure for someone who seemed like she was doing 7 different jobs at once. The gym was nice too and the guests were all friendly, but anything the gym was lacking paled comparatively to the astounding service by Katie. I don't yet know about the rest of the staff seeing as how she was a one-woman army, but I hope they are as diligent and professional as she if and when they show up for work. I hope that this gym takes all the proper steps in giving her and people like her their flowers because without them, I could literally go to any other gym and workout just the same.

Got a day pass here after recently moving to the area and scouting for a new gym. Haven’t been to a PF in 10 years. I was told by the app I’d need to show ID at the front desk to confirm my identity for the day pass. When I get to the front desk, Patti and another employee (young woman, dark hair, glasses- didn’t get her name) were so engrossed in their conversation that I was not greeted. No worries. I wait. However, Patti makes eye contact with me, and continues talking to the young woman. She then rudely taps on the scanner in a “you know what to do” way. Spoiler alert- I don’t know what to do. So I scan in, not showing my ID. That could’ve been a QR code to my warranty for my blender for all they know.
So here I am, not knowing where anything is, no greeting, and already feeling uncomfortable. I’ve been going to gyms and lifting for over a decade now and I’ve never been treated like this.
After my workout I walk directly into the wellness area (I wasn’t sure if this was included in the day pass, and would have asked had I been greeted on my arrival). After realizing I can’t use the massage beds without the front desk setting it up, I go back to the lobby to see- surprise- Patti and the young woman talking to someone who I assume is an off the clock employee behind the front desk with them. Y’all love to chit chat here!
The off the clock employee was more helpful about using the massage beds than the young woman or Patti were. I informed the young woman that I’ve never been here and was still not given an explanation as to how anything in this gym works.
On the way out, I ask to speak to a manager. The young woman told me there was no manager on site today (odd), and that a manager would be there tomorrow. No time given as to when, and no interest in what the issue was. I’ll go to a PF in Raleigh before I step foot in this one again.
Not that it matters, but I was hoping this positive interaction would lead to me getting a full membership here that day. After how I was treated- absolutely not!

For a number of months now I've been sharing comments about the facilities lack of cleanliness, broken machines that have stayed broken for months, and more. During my workout a cockroach came right through the machine. Went to the staff to notify asked a shift lead if the manager was on site and was told no. Another shift lead came up and told me there was a manager there who waved him over. Manager came over to talk to me and said he'd get an exterminator out to spray the building and that he had never seen the comments I've left when PF sends out the messages for feedback. Super unorganized and clearly the facility has become bad enough to have roaches in them.

Love the planet fitness at this location because of the small and the equipment. It has all new machines and very updated compared to other locations. But it does get very packed and kind of placed in a bad area. Multiple times people have been in the parking lot smoking pot. One of the workers was outside boxing someone and leaving the desk unattended. And quite a few times the bathroom has been nasty and looks like none of the staff check up on the bathroom.

I have been a member of Planet Fitness in Graham for 5 years. The Graham location has severe management problems. First they have been renovating for many months and the improvements are nice. The new locker room tile is a big improvement, but the new floor tile is extremely slick and someone is going to have a bad accident very soon. There needs to be some type of mat to avoid an accident from slipping and falling. It appears the renovations are complete yet there is little to no hot water in the showers all of the time. The staff clearly could not care less when I have questioned them about this several times over the last month. I come 3 to 5 days a week and it never changes. I am beginning to think its a convenient way for ownership to save money. Also during the peak times of 5-8pm the staff will take a floor scrubber machine the size of a washing machine and clean the locker rooms when people are trying to change. The machine soaps up the floor and leaves it extremely wet and soapy when members are trying to change to begin their work out or to use the shower. They also do it in the main facility at peak times of 5-8pm when the facility is full of members. It bad enough to have to wait for equipment at peak times but now you have to work around the staff scrubbing the floors. I would think they would do this maintenance during nonpeak hours. Clearly management doesn't care at this point.

This location is generally a great place to workout. However it's currently under renovation and there is gentleman there who apparently thinks he's more important then he is. I simply asked where the next closes planet fitness was, not addressing this individual but he intervened offered the location with a very sarcastic have a nice day. It should be my choice to not want to work around drywall use a porta potty and would like to put my things in a locker without being treated with comtemp.

I realized recently that Planet Fitness in Graham, NC had been taking money out of my account for 4 years. The membership was for my deceased husband. I was very grief stricken and did not realize that my deceased husband was still being charged. I recently went to this location to ask for a refund and was told by the manager that I would not receive any type of refund and that he could or would not offer me the Regional Directors number so that I could talk it through with him. I would like to add what a shame that the customer service at this branch lacks humanity or even sympathy for my situation. I am sure that this is the overall atmosphere. I could tell that the gym manager who did not even have the heart to tell me that he was sorry for my lost could probably care less about the customers that frequent his gym.

And today I'm dropping it to a 1. Roughly HALF of the treadmills are broken down now, going on week 3! I got water from the machine a few weeks ago and it was brown. I started bringing water bottles from home, but then decided to give it another shot last week.. The water is so dirty. Do better, y'all. I've been a long time customer of this location and I LOVE it, for the comminuty, but this facility is getting out of control.

Today I'm changing my 5 star review of my local PF. While it's still my favorite way to start the day and I love the environment and staff, I'm hugely disappointed in the upkeep of the women's bathroom. I've been a faithful member for years, and for the last 2 years, at least, the handicap stall has been out of order, more often than not. It'll work for a week or so, here and there, and then it's broken again. For the last 2 weeks, EVERY stall has been broken. Most people drink a large amount water while working out and it's really hard to "hold it" until you get home. I was literally dancing, while in the changing stall this morning. Ridiculous. Do better!

I don't like complaining, but this seems to be a recurring issue that is not being fixed at the root. Draino and a snake isn't gonna fix it. Invest in your property before you lose customers.
