I used to have a PF membership for years. It is overall a decent gym but I honestly don’t think they’re as good as they used to be. I wish that all locations would go back to being 24/7 instead of this 24/5. Coming from someone who works a job with a rotating schedule 24/7 is convenient for me. They also keep getting rid of the machines I enjoyed using for example the arc trainer, I wish they still had them. Other than that I did like the black card membership where I could bring guests anytime I wanted and the advantage of checking out other locations.

While I want to give some staff members 5 stars.. the low rating is for the upper folks who do not seem to care what members want. I have been a member for 10 years. Right when you get a great trainer and the classes are packed for folks that work… meaning the training is awesome… you change it! You made it a part time position and i have only been able to come Tues and wednesdays due to the way you have the schedule. THEN you change it to where I cannot come to a class at all! Except a very late one on wednesday night. I do not know who you are trying to accomodate. Caleb is a rockstar fitness instructor ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. As well as a few in the past. (will not mention the one that was removed in handcuffs.. no background checks?? Really??)And .. when its great.. dont worry.. PF is changing it!! Im very dissatisfied With the revised schedule and you thinking this is what members want!

It’s Planet Fitness… it’s like the fast food chain of gyms affordable, ubiquitous, and offering a consistent experience, but perhaps not the gourmet meal some fitness enthusiasts crave.

This location is clean, the staff is super friendly, and it’s never too crowded when I go. It’s got all the standard beginner friendly equipment, nothing fancy. I just wish they’d add squat and deadlift stations because honestly, I’m over these dumbbell RDLs.

Only giving this review two stars because I’ve never had an issue until the older woman with the curly blonde hair works there. BE AWARE THEY CLOSE THEIR DOORS EARLY. BECAUSE THEY WANT TO LEAVE AT 7:00 PM ON THE DOT. A rep specifically advised me they locked their doors early and their manager. Alexis is aware about this. This is an inconvenience to your customers. If your store hours explain a certain time of the day then the business should be open until that time I will be contacting the corporate offices to make sure they are awarethe manager is deciding to close the facility earlier than what corporate needs them to stay open

This gym does not have free Olympic bars, it does not have a squat or deadlift rack, it cannot be that in these times a gym does not have the minimum for a good workout. They only have smith machines :/

Im visiting from New York and went to this Planet Fitness for a quick workout prior to an appointment I had in Concord. I just wanted to say the employees Nina, Molly and Lucy are very amazing! These three women work as a team and gave me excellent customer service. I travel a lot for business and visit many, many, many Planet Fitness location but coming here was a great experience due to these young women.

I miss the old equipment and especially the 30 minutes area that was taken out. I don't even care to go to this location even though it's the closest one to me. It was my favorite. I don't know why they tried to fix something that wasn't broken. The 30 min workout area was used by many! My sister as well no longer goes to this gym due to the same reasons.

I have only been to the Planet Fitness in Kannapolis two times I normally go to the one in Salisbury. The one in Salisbury is somewhat bigger and little bit more newer. I don’t know if it is or not but I know there’s more space. More gym equipment and it seems to be less busy on the days that I go to Salisbury. I don’t know if it’s just the time that I go or what but every time I’ve been to one in Kannapolis this one it’s been somewhat busy so it’s always a comfortable environment, but regardless when there is a bunch of people around And it’s very busy. It does make a little less comfortable, but thankfully you can always look at your handy dandy app and see how busy they are regardless Planet Fitness gets five stars all the way around good company built done good morals that I know of and I enjoy going for the tanning bed, I use the tanning bed and the Kannapolis one yeah

I was actively coming to this Planet Fitness before I moved to Texas. It's a Planet Fitness. If you're interested in weight lifting you're probably better off going to a smaller power lifting gym. However if you're someone like me that focuses on calisthenics and cardio PF has everything you need.. you just need to bring yourself.

Most of the staff are friendly & helpful but you'll likely need to speak to someone who's had more training to fix anything more complicated than checking to see if you signed in. That's no fault of their own but likely a lack of training provided by PF.

The facility is always super clean and never really busy, however I do go as soon as they open.

Always clean and neat. Lots of equipment to choose from and plenty of free weights. Staff is really nice and helpful. I tend to come either really early in the morning or really late at night and I've never felt uncomfortable or unsafe coming at oddball times. I've recently been visiting this PF due to job change and I overlooked the tanning room and bed being dirty. I just went to the one in Concord instead. That one is 15 minutes out of my way. Ok, not a big problem but they have never been friendly and now I can't find anyone in there to be able to use the hydro bed before work. Come on PF. Do better. Please clean the place.
