I’m a truck driver so parking is first concern and this location has a solution but don’t park in the front, there’s a lot of signs definitely warning us, park in the back and make the walk. Showers are hot, water fountain should be colder, all equipment is as it should be and clean. I will be back next time I’m in the area

Do not go and get a membership here. I have had mine almost a year and they have been double and triple charging and charging me late fees and when I call they say it’s a hold and you will get it back and has happened for the second time in the passed two months. Beware when trying to cancel your membership!!!! Absolutely the biggest fiasco I have ever dealt with!!! They obviously need the money more than I do!!! I THOUGHT I was cancelled but when another payment came out the following month I was confused. There was an issue the evening I originally thought I cancelled but it seems the girl doing the cancellation did not know what she was doing. I never received an email but had scanned in that night like I was told to do. I signed the pin pad and did everything she asked. I had needed to cancel due to medical issues and had NOT used the facility in many months. All I wanted was the $25 that had pulled out after I THOUGHT it was canceled. The manager said he couldn’t confirm that I was there previously to cancel…even though I had scanned in did everything the employee told me to do and I’m sure they have cameras. I was insulated because I felt like he called me a liar!! Just Beware!!!!

As a local who had an emergency on my hands with my toddler, they were less than helpful because I wasn't a member and she wasn't an adult. She had to use the bathroom, she had to go! As someone who was looking for a membership to a gym I'll keep my money local and use City Fitness or another local gym. The planet fitness franchise prioritizes money over basic human necessity and almost cost my daughter a very embarrassing moment for her. If it was even remotely about liability issues, we could have been escorted to the bathrooms by an employee but that wasn't an option because we weren't "members". Heck The Y in town allows you to use the bathrooms regardless of membership, they also go out of their way to allow the homeless to come shower from time to time. If you're not a parent you'll never understand the delema we were in today, things happen. Can't blame the girls at the front desk doing their job but this policy is just ridiculous planet fitness.

Best gym I've been a memeber of. Everything is above average and worth the money. I just wish everything in lexington didn't close so early. I do miss hitting the gym after my second shift job. But the staff and the environment make up for the not so great hours.

I have been to 70+ Planet Fitness Clubs in 28 states and 2 provinces. This one lands at the top of the list.

After stowing my stuff in a locker, I spent a few minutes stretching and then did the 30 minute circuit. The fitness area is clean and well spaced. Even sharing with three others, there was no waiting for equipment. In the main room, plenty of stairsteppers and treadmills and nearly all of the weight lifting machines were free. The "lunk alarm" did go off a bunch of times.

Back to the shower area and this is a highlight. A large changing stall (maybe stick a mirror in there?) before heading to the shower. Big enough with a shelf (so many PF clubs don't have a shelf). The shower curtain easily stretched across and what is this... a curved shower rail? Awesome! Huge pressure with hot water and I'm happy.

In the Black Card spa, some seating (can't miss the massage chairs) and wifi while cooling off. If Planet Fitness could clone this exact club into every other? It would be five stars every time.

I have been with PF gyms about 15 years. The last gym (Kernersville) was my favorite, then I relocated to Lexington recently. I love this clean gym. New equipment and a friendly staff. Give it a try! I am looking forward to making friends while staying in shape.

This place is great in so many ways! First and foremost, it is very clean! The equipment, the locker rooms, the floors etc. Secondly, the staff goes above and beyond to make your first experience just as great as your last! Lexington planet fitness is my home gym. It is always refreshing to come here. The staff here are always welcoming and kind. The gym is spacious and l love the layout of the machines and workout rooms.The bathrooms as well as the gym always look and smell clean. They have my favorite machine here, the stair master and plenty of treadmills , I have never had to wait for a machine. The app is very informative on when it’s busy or slow and that is extremely helpful. I also love to end my workout with a massage in the black card spa room. The ambience in the room is very relaxing. I will be a member at planet fitness for a long time .

Tonight was a joke! All the signs and rules about being respectful and not wasting time on machines is a joke. Once a week I am pushed for time so I do the 30 minute express circuit room. Well I couldn't finish it bc people just come in there and jump on a machine and will do three or four sets instead of following the rules of the room. I know it sounds petty and that is fine, but it's really irritating when you try and pay attention to the rules and others just come and hangout all over the place. There is never any employees walking around or monitoring the space. I understand keeping cost down and not wanting to pay a lot of employees but this is insane. I came back to this gym bc it's the only one in the area and I liked it the last time I was a member, but it has really turned into a joke.

Came as a guest, got yelled at for bringing my gym bag with me because I had my wallet in it and wasn’t leaving it in a locker. Then got confronted by 2 workers there saying I was slamming weights….i was doing one arm tricep extensions with 20lb weights lol really hard to slam something that light. I’m a professional bodybuilder so I respect ALL gym rules and equipment since I use it more than most and I hate when people slam weights so was shocked when they said I was. My two friends with me even said I wasn’t so we were all confused. I ended up leaving because I was being followed and watched the entire time by these two guys and they made me uncomfortable. Will never be back

This is a good gym. Lots of machines, never too crowded, unpretentious people. Love the hydrobeds. People at the desk are always nice and helpful.

Deducting 1 star because it doesn't have the small lockers or red light therapy booth. I'm also not a fan of all the paper towels that get wasted at the cleaning stations. It's great that they provide cleaning stations. It's just that there are no paper towels in the bathrooms - just a air dryer with some messaging about how they're trying to conserve paper xD
